Mountain cabin

El Refugio del Sol is a cozy stone and wood chalet, with a recently completed high-quality comprehensive renovation, unique in the Pyrenees for being in the middle of the mountain, within the La Molina domain. With a fireplace, spectacular mountain views, 1,200 m² of private garden, and parking within the property itself, it represents an exclusive and unforgettable experience in spring and summer, both for the more active (mountain biking or hiking) and for those looking to relax.

Apartment located in the old barn of a farmhouse of 1873. In the same house they live and host Pau and Wafa. Cozy and family friendly atmosphere. Situated in a small village in Northwest Catalonia, at the foot of the Montsec Mountains, PrePirineo. 1h30min by car from Barcelona, and two minutes from Artesa de Segre, where you find everything you need for shopping. Rustic experience, ideal for disconnecting from the city and spending time in contact with countryside and nature.

5 minutes walk to the center of Formiguères, bakery , butcher/caterer, bars, restaurants, convenience stores and pizzeria. The accommodation consists of an equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, fridge with freezer, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, raclette machine), sofa bed BZ 140, Bedroom 140, shower cabin and separate toilet. Sheets and linens are provided on request and are optional. Accommodation not accessible to people with reduced mobility due to steps and no suitable equipment.

We have two very similar apartments (Dreta i Esquerra), between the two have a capacity for 10 pax.

The 30 acre estate has 3 swimming pools using natural mineral water from the mountains, orange groves, our own lake and direct access to the national park. Entire apartment, renovated in June 2019, very nice and cozy, consisting of two floors. Main floor with living-dining room, smart TV, Wify, fireplace and balcony, open kitchen, two bedrooms ( one double and one with two single bunk beds and a balcony exit to the balcony), plus a full sink. On the second floor, an old converted barn, you'll have a queen bed with a velux window from where you can see the stars at night. A jewel!!
