Monthly Rentals in Alnwick

Great fun to stay in the centre of Alnwick. Beautiful home, lots of stairs so need to be ok with this, otherwise classy and homely. Milk in the fridge was a welcome sight and a nice touch.

It's a quiet and spacious flat right in the centre of Alnwick and close to the Castle and Gardens, with plenty of options for eating out in the town. The temperature in the flat was good for us and we could control the heating when needed. Being on the top floor I suppose it might get a little warm in the height of summer. The check-in was flexible and simple and Barry provided clear instructions as well as lots of suggestions for places to visit and eat and things to do. As advertised there's no private parking with the apartment but it wasn't a problem as we could park in a 30 min slot (having got the parking disc from the flat) about 20 metres from the door to load/unload. Overnight we used the long stay in Greenwell Road car park E, about 2 mins walk away. The car parks are free but busy on weekdays during office hours, though there were plenty of spaces on returning from days out. There's loads of great stuff to do in the area and Barry was a helpful and responsive host.

The flat was in a great location for exploring Alnwick. There was plenty of space for 2 and it was great to sit in the lounge overlooking the square. It was well equipped for cooking with hob oven and microwave and plenty of pots pans and utensils. Lots of lovely cafes and places to eat very near by.

we had a lovely relaxing stay. The cottage was tucked away in a peaceful location but still walking distance to go into town. lovely places to eat and plenty of shops. We enjoyed the local crafts at the market. So much to do in the surrounding area
