We had a great stay at this spacious flat. It was absolutely spotless and well equipped. The check in was quick and easy. Neil was very quick to respond to our query during our stay. It was so close to the Metro too so getting into town was really quick. So close to the supermarkets too. Can’t fault it! Definitely recommend! Thanks Neil

We had a great long weekend. The apartment was in a quiet location with an easy walk down little traffic free lanes to the town, bus station and supermarket. It was a pleasant walk to the beautiful Alnwick Gardens and the great bookshop. Thank you

Super convenient apartment in Alnwick, just a minute from the centre of town easily walkable down several roads or cute alleyways. Check-in was as described helpfully by Linh and the apartment was exactly as described and pictured. Perfect. Grocery shops in town just a few minutes walk away and we never had any problem finding a free on-street parking space, shown on a map helpfully supplied by Linh. Would really recommend both Efes Turkish Grill House and Ristorante Tirreno in Alnwick which were great value sit-down places for dinner. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

I booked Allison's place for 2 nights as a surprise trip for my husband. It was easy to find, the photos of the building were very useful and appreciated. The flat was lovely, clean, felt homely and comfortable, just minutes from the train and buses in one direction, the town in the other direction with many shops and restaurants. Allison responded quickly to a small query which was resolved immediately. I'd recommend her place to anyone staying in the Penrith area for easy accessibility to the lakes.

The apartment was exactly like the pictures and spotless throughout! Sarah had provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay and her written guide was very helpful. Couldn't fault it!

Karen's place was just what we were looking for. Just a few minutes walk to the city centre. It was peaceful and quiet, very clean and fully equipped with tea, coffee and milk and also toiletries. The place was very comfortable and safe. We also had a parking space in the garage which was perfect. Karen was an amazing host, met us on the day of the check in and explained everything to us. She was very helpful and super nice 😊 All in all a very great stay, we definitely recommend and we will rebook when we visit Newcastle again ☺️

Just the perfect stop over after a looong drive back from The Highlands. So peaceful, extremely comfortable bed and squeaky clean apartment. So quiet too! The surroundings were amazing with a beautiful garden overlooking the highest point on the Pennines! Julie and Paul were just the best. They were waiting for us on arrival and gave us the warmest of welcomes (As did the dogs!) They were so kind and helpful. Look forward to coming back sometime to explore more of the beautiful Eden Valley.

The apartment was ideal for our first holiday with our golden retriever. The beach was close by, the garden was ideal for our dog. Both owners super friendly and had lots of knowledge to give us about the local area. Would definitely stay here again!

Angela's place is cosy and comfortable, as close to the delightful town centre of Penrith as it is to the larger shops for all needed supplies and very near the lovely local park with castle ruins to explore. One word of wisdom for future visitors is that you do need to turn on the second pull switch in the bathroom to get the shower going, but after that it's a lovely warm shower too.

Central to the township, stores and restaurants. Very spacious accomodation, clean and well presented. Keep in mind if your aged that there are several flights of stairs.

This is one of the better Airbnb accommodations we've stayed at. Karen has thought of everything, from a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials for cooking and cleaning, to entertainment options like DVDs and games. The thoughtful touches include torches, umbrellas, and a dog box complete with a towel, bowls, and a spare ball. The guidebooks Karen has put together are among the most detailed I've seen. Although parking isn't directly outside the property, we didn't encounter any issues parking just outside the lane, and it's only a two-second walk away. The accommodation is clean, lovely decorated, and truly feels like a home from home. One minor note: if you're sensitive to light, consider bringing an eye mask for sleeping. The charming town has all the essentials, including pubs, cafes, bakeries, chemists, and vets. Its location is ideal for exploration. We would highly recommend this accommodation and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Lovely compact place with everything we needed. Beautifully clean. Lots of little nice touches. 10 minute walk from the local pub. 10 minute drive to the Sycamore Gap car park. Recommend the twice Brewed pub and brewery :)

We have just returned from a lovely week staying in the flat at Beadnell. The flat was modern, spacious and comfortable. It had every thing you might need for great time away. The flat has a lovely view of the sea and was very well placed to make a good location for visiting the area. There was lots of helpful information to make the most of the locality.

Elaine’s apartment was ultra modern, very clean and well presented. The bathroom is fabulous beautiful freestanding bath and fantastic power shower. We had a welcome pack which was absolutely lovely, made up of local products. It’s well placed for exploring the local area’s. Holy Island / Bamburgh castle/ Seahouses are all within an hour.

A lovely little flat, full of character. The clear instructions and photos made it easy to get in. We felt right at home and slept very well in the very comfortable bed. Thank you for having us Deb.

What lovely hosts Rod and Laura are!! The place was lovely and clean - very cosy. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable. Knowing it was my wedding, they even left a sweet note on the white board and balloons. 100% would stay again!

Ideal location within walking distance to Berwick and driving distance to bamburgh castle, holy island so perfect for visiting these. Location was great situated next to a small port and views of Berwick and town walls. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed! Private parking a good addition!! All in all just cannot fault price, location or accommodation.

What a find, we stayed for 3 nights, absolutely loved studio at no.1, everything about it.. spotlessly clean, well thought out, the outside area, the kitchen is brilliant! The location is perfect, 5 mins to Melrose centre, had a couple of really good meals at Burts Hotel, the monkfish samosa starter was delicious, and The Kings Arms.. both were lovely. Would definitely stay here again, so many golf courses to choose from too 😊

Really enjoyed our stay. We have family in Newcastle but wanted to head further up into Northumberland. This location was perfect for popping to see them and going to the tourist places we wanted to see on this visit. Flat is really clean and beautifully presented. As other reviews mention, the bed is sumptuous and quality label linens are used. Coffee and biscuits were a lovely extra. We visited the pub one evening for dinner and would really recommend a visit. Great value and really welcoming staff. If we lived in the area it would definitely be our local! Would certainly return to The Stable Yard and have no hesitation in recommending to anyone we knew who was visiting the area and looking for somewhere to stay

Sarah was very easy to contact with any questions and gave us good advice with things to do locally. The location is quite and peaceful but within a 5 minute drive you can be close to shops, restaurants etc should you wish. The bed was sooo comfy. I would definitely stay again. 1 thing I would suggest is to read the instructions on how to get there provided by Sarah. I didn't until I got lost, then followed them exactly and took me right to the door 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Thank you for a lovely stay. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. Everything was clean and tidy. We loved Amble and the ambience of the town. The alleyway to the apartment is not great, but we were prepared for that in advance so it didn't spoil our stay at all.

Spent 4 nights here with my partner and my parents, and really can't fault the place. Everything was exactly as the photos but better - the flat was more spacious than expected, spotlessly clean, and those views were just fabulous! We even saw dolphins from the balcony one evening, as well as the daily curlews, oystercatchers, eiders and ringed plovers. Sonia & Tanja were very responsive to a few queries I'd had beforehand, and there were lots of very thoughtful touches in the flat. Highly recommend this place and hope to be back one day. (It's also one of very few holiday rentals I've had where the kitchen knives aren't blunt! Thank you!)
