Billy and his wife were very welcoming. We had a cake baked for us and the apartment was very clean and homely.

First family holiday away with our 2 years old and two dogs. Loved the accommodations and views from the cabin. The hot tub was superb to wind down in the evening. Patrick gave us some great recommendations to visit a beach with was fantastic. We will 100% be coming again. Patrick was a great host. The holiday park was well kept, the pond was nice to feed the ducks and swans.

We visited with 2 children, a baby and a dog. It was quite cramped but we knew this would be the case when we booked. The setting is beautiful with a lovely enclosed garden and private hot tub area. Emma was very responsive to all Messages sent before our stay clarifying things that were included such as the size of the dog crate, and also whilst we were there. The bothy was clean and had lovely extra touches such a dog treats and a welcome hamper. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Stayed for 2 nights and we didn't want to leave! Went for a break with friends and the pooch and all absolutely loved it. Beautiful home, views and great dog walks local. Very secluded garden area with hot tub which was lovely in the autumn weather. Will definitely be returning in the future! Fantastic house in beautiful surroundings - we were a group of 11 and the house was so well equipped with everything we needed. The online guidebook provided in advance was very thorough and helpful with recommendations for the local area and information on the house amenities. Would definitely stay again with a group and would recommend to anyone!

lovely spot in Amble. clean and spacious property, clear instructions and friendly and responsive hosts. Great base for exploring Northumberland. would recommend the Wednesday quiz or the Thursday bingo (bingo also on sundays) at the Masons Arms which is a 2 minute walk from the house. the landlord, landlady and locals were all really welcoming and friendly.

We (a big group of friends) had a wonderful stay at Bush Nook Farmhouse. The area is stunning, the house is beautiful, and we felt right at home. Superb!

What a gem of a place! The listing was exactly what was in the tin! The hosts are top-notch and have put a lot of thought and effort into their property and guests' expectations. A well thought out welcome pack for both humans and dogs. There are 7 different areas of seating around the property and grounds all with fabulous views and so you can watch the wide variety of wildlife. When we say the place was clean, it was spotless including the hot tub. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and user friendly. Plenty of books, DVD's, games, puzzles, maps and toiletries. Well recommended.

This was our third stay and we hope to return to enjoy Hilary and Peter’s wonderful hospitality and this superb cottage. There was everything we could possibly need for a relaxing stay….the most comfortable bed, amazing shower, beautiful decor and gorgeous surroundings. Lovely welcome treats and so much attention to detail, including fresh flowers. We had a fabulous break and we are already looking to book again. Thank you so much Hilary and Peter.

Had a fantastic stay at Silver Fox Barn. Came for a last minute mid-week break and was not disappointed. Jonathan was quick to organise everything and very detailed with his instructions. The property itself is lovely, modern but very homely feeling with everything we needed and more. Located in a very pretty and quiet area, but still very close to everywhere you'd like to visit in the area. Also went for dinner at one of the recommended restaurants just 10 minutes drive away and not disappointed. We would gladly recommend and return again in future!

Had a lovely stay here. Great location in the centre of the village but still peaceful. The house had everything we needed. Very friendly staff on the hotel reception. We would love to come back.

I went to Tony’s place to finish the book I’ve been writing. I wanted a clean, well maintained cottage to find peace and quiet and Tony’s cottage was all that and more. Well placed for trips to seahouses, bamburgh, lindisfarne and the wider Northumbrian coast I couldn’t recommend the location or the facilities more highly. Tony communicated with me well so that check in and check out was smooth. A great place to stay.

Another great stay in a beautiful apartment in a fabulous location in Bamburgh village, very close to restaurants, pubs, the castle and the beach. The apartment is very comfortable, well kitted out, and has fabulous views out to sea.

A homely, comfy cottage within easy driving distance to the coast and the local castles and the moors inland. Easy parking and great to have an EV Charger. Victoria was always prompt with her replies and helpful. We will visit again! Thank you

What a lovely location the little village is amazing the unit so fitting to the location. If only we had our golf clubs to play on the oldest golf course in England. Recommend yes

My daughter and I had a brilliant week in Jen's property. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the scones and cake provided were lovely! The house is in avery good location for visiting the many bars and restaurants in Amble, as well as the other great places that we visited: Holy Island, Beamish, Alnwick (the poison garden in Alnwick Gardens is definitely worth visiting) and Bamburgh. Our last meal in the Old Boathouse was very memorable with a wonderful range of seafood. I'm sure we'll be back!

Honeymug provided the perfect backdrop for our group of six meeting up to reminisce about college days forty odd years ago! The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was indeed most welcome! Very comfortable beds to sleep off the long, coastal walks and swims in the indoor pool. We ate in The Bosk on our last evening and enjoyed it very much, having sampled the Friday evening pizzas too! Everyone was a fan of the outdoor jacuzzi, which we booked each evening and whirled away an hour chatting to the various local members we shared it with! Everyone was so friendly and we learned a lot about the area. Highlights were our boat trip to Inner Farne, an afternoon with the Chillingham cattle, and a day spent on the beautiful and peaceful Lindisfarne. We left feeling there was so much else to discover and we'll hope to be back to do just that! Many thanks John!

How was your host Nathalie is an attentive host, phone call on arrival as we’d got a little lost! Explained all facilities and gave us tips for days out & eating out recommendations. Perfect host. How clean was lodge Despite the smell of dog when we first entered the lodge, once we got inside & unpacked everything was clean & tidy. Plenty of cleaning products should we have needed them (we had brought our own just in case) Both bathrooms were clean smelt fresh. Facilities WiFi was a lovely addition, perfect for me to play on social media uploading my photos from each day. Lovely furniture with plenty of space to relax inside & on the deck. View of lake was stunning. Everything you need in kitchen & throughout the lodge from books, games, video games. Everything has been thought of. Thankfully the gas bottle held out. I did find this part a bit stressful. Understandably, Nathalie is concerned at the cost of gas bottles & fair usage of it. Perfect stay! We have loved it. Thank you

Fabulous little cottage. It's in a great area for nearby attractions. The Cottage itself is so pretty and contains everything you'd need. The games room, the pool and the chickens are an added bonus. We had a lovely stay.

A lovely property in a great location. The house is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and lovely bedroom. It is an ideal base for exploring this area of Northumberland, which is very attractive.(We were walking the northern stages of the Pennine Way.)

We stayed for a couple of nights to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday with our 2yr old and 11 yr old. We all had a fantastic time and felt extremely relaxed. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and lots of little walks to explore from the cabin. On the first evening we arrived we were greeted kindly by Maggie's son who told us about the local area and made us feel at home. The wood burning hot tub was preheated and ready for us to get in (lots of wood provided )The view from the cabin was amazing and within 5 minutes we saw multiple hares and a deer. We then enjoyed a relaxing evening in the hot tub looking at the stars and saw a barn owl from the woods flying over us. The next day we enjoyed playing at the tennis courts provided, enjoyed a local walk to the river and the hosts son introduced us to their "teddy bear" lambs. The next morning we visited a local cafe and play area recommended by the Maggie which was fantastic. Best Airbnb stay we've ever stayed at!

Great place to stay for a bigger group. Hot tub is a great addition. One thing to note: The swimming pool you get access to costs £30 per session for a family of four, so not really as described.
