Vacation rentals with lake access in Aguacaliente o San Francisco District

We stayed at this property for 14 days because we had to recover from the flu. The apartment was ideal for that. It is quiet, safe, has shopping very close by and is superbly looked after by Angela, who lives right next door. The bus station is nearby. There are buses to the center of Cartago, but also directly to San José. The apartment is super clean, the kitchen is perfect and peppermint grows in the small garden, which can be processed into tea😜.

Our stay at this home was nothing short of magical. Waking up to the sounds of nature and watching toucans play in the trees each morning was an unforgettable experience. The views were absolutely breathtaking, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Afternoons by the pool were pure bliss, offering a serene escape surrounded by lush greenery. The home itself was beautifully designed, well-equipped, and provided all the comforts needed for a perfect stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in nature with luxury and charm, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Leonardo’s place was even more beautiful than the photos! Very peaceful and a great place to start our trip to Costa Rica. He even helped arrange transportation for us from San José, which worked out great. Would love to stay again if we are in Turrialba!

I loved this place, the house is beautiful, well equipped and the surroundings are just stunning. We went with our dog and he had the time of his life running all over the place. I recommend this place very much

Accommodation located in a small village, 45 minutes from Turrialba and 10 minutes from all basic services (supermarket, butcher, restaurants). Simple and sober but very honest price and very good bedding. Guido is the village chief and runs the local dairy, very nice

The house and the experience were impeccable, we really liked it and the stay was very quiet, excellent vacation home. Just a few small details to take into account, the place has very little signal for Kölbi, almost none. With Movistar, the signal is a little better. The screen did not connect to any network, so movies could not be watched. I asked the host how the Jacuzzi worked and he didn't respond. By the 3rd day, the jacuzzi reached a warm temperature. Everything else, the pool, rooms, board games, super good and beautiful.

Karen’s place was very well decorated, organized, clean and had all of the necessary amenities. The overall facility is very well maintained with pathways for walking to the pools, fitness room, tennis courts and restaurant. I felt very comfortable and secure as the entire facility is gated and guarded. Definitely recommend it and sure to book it next time I’m in San José CR!

We stayed a couple of days where Cristian to rest and recharge batteries. He is very nice and friendly. The apartment had everything we needed, from a delicious coffee, to extra blankets for the cold. We highly recommend it.

The 2 room flat- Esteban's Boca Vieja was peaceful and relaxing. It has all the amenities and is a 5 minute walk to really excellent restaurants. I felt right at home. The air conditioning is great and there is a small convenience store across the street. It was easy to find and I would totally stay there again. Thank you!

The place is exactly what it says. The apartment is comfortable, and the complex has everything you need (a great pool, excellent restaurant, security, soccer field, etc.). The kids were always outside. Agustín was always available for whatever we needed and very attentive. I highly recommend it and will definitely return. Andrina C.
