Villa vacation rentals in Abetone

Can't say enough great things about this villa and Cristina as it's host! This was a family trip with 12 of us, and the villa provided more than enough space, bathrooms, amenities, and convenience for everyone. Sleeping arrangements were plenty and comfortable, bathrooms were larger than what you might expect for a European villa, several of them with dual sinks as well, and lots of modern upgrades that made things convenient but nothing to steal away from the absolute charm of the villa, especially the back yard by the pool. We loved spending most of our time there when we weren't exploring inside the city walls of Lucca (which are right outside the front door of the villa, an easy 5-10 minute walk away!) There were also coffee shops, markets, a pharmacy, a bank, etc., right around the corner from the villa for even more convenience. And Cristina herself? AMAZING. So proactive with communication, provided tons of information, and was very kind and welcoming when we arrived. THE BEST.

A massive thank you to fabrizio and his family for the most amazing time in his beautiful home . The house and location is stunning and it went way beyond our expectations and hopes for our first Tuscan adventure . So welcoming from the first moment , full of advice and recommendations . Nothing is too much trouble for Fabrizio as all he wants is his guests to have the best time possible . I could say so many great things about this house , the pictures on the listing sell it but you can’t fully appreciate the beauty and feeling of this house and the location until you arrive . This house is fabrizio ‘s dream , designing it and taking many years to complete . He is so proud ,and this really shows when you arrive and meet Fabrizio and his daughter for the first time . We will definitely be back to stay again , so tempted to book 3 weeks next time though !! Thank you so much Fabrizio !! Oh! We had a wonderful stay at Giuseppe's. We would definitely recommend it as hub for exploring Lucca and the surrounding area or just relaxing and enjoying the pool.

We had a fantastic relaxing stay at this place. The house was large and had everything you need to make yourself comfortable. The house and garden offered a great atmosphere with its nice places to sit and relax or having our meals. Thank you Elena and Eugenio for your hospitality and great service.

We had a wonderful visit to Pistoia at Paolo's place! Everything went well and Paolo was very friendly and helpful. Paolo even picked us up from the train station and drove us into town the next morning. Remember to rent a car so you can get around. The house and garden were really beautiful and peaceful and the bed was comfortable. We would love to come again!

We had a fantastic stay at the wonderful Meriggio Barn. The photos don’t do this gorgeous property justice! The house itself is beautiful, classically decorated and expansive space and very well equipped kitchen. All three bedrooms were a great size and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool . The house is set within beautiful rolling Tuscan hills with great views all around, enabling us to enjoy stunning sunsets every evening. The infinity pool was absolutely fantastic - a lot bigger than we expected and we had lots of fun relaxing and keeping cool in the water. The location is great - 40 mins to Pisa and the same for Florence, so we enjoyed visiting those cities as well as getting the train from Florence to Rome. Elisa and the owner Adolfo were perfect hosts, helping us swiftly with any questions we had or recommendations required (the tip to drive and park at the tram stop was perfect, as well as the recommendations for the best local pizza!). The villa is beautifully designed, elegant, and well-equipped to meet every guest's needs. It features spacious living areas and a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for families or couples. Everything in the villa is new, immaculate, and thoughtfully arranged. The outdoor spaces are exceptional, featuring a ground-level dining area and a rooftop patio with lounge chairs and breathtaking views. The location is convenient and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and pharmacies. It is a five-minute drive to the stunning beach and promenade of Lido di Camaiore. We went on day trips for sightseeing to Pietrasanta, Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, Carrara, and San Gimignano, where we enjoyed wine tasting and a cooking class in the beautiful Tuscan hills. Massimo is a five-star PLUS superhost. He was passionate about providing recommendations for dining and day trips, which made our visit truly exceptional. I highly recommend staying here, and I can't wait to stay again on my next trip to Tuscany.

The biggest recommendation!!! We loved this place. The house is filled with various cozy areas, so there is plenty of shade, as we were travelling with small babies. We loved the outdoor seating area, and the pool area is more beautiful than the images shows. Only thing we would mention, is that there is a 10-15min drive uphill a very narrow road before you reach the house. It was not a problem for us, as we wanted to stay as much time as possible at the house. Other than that, Francesca was an amazing host and was easy to communicate with. We would definitely come back another time!

The property are spectacular, with all the amenities, Anna is an excellent host, courteous, friendly and willing to help, we loved the property and enjoyed our stay very much. It is a place we recommend 100% and if we return to Italy we would love to stay there again. It's close to Florence and other cities in Tuscany. There are supermarkets 3 minutes from the property, as well as restaurants and everything you need for a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Antica Villa vicino Firenze. The villa is full of charm and character, with beautifully maintained grounds and a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with authentic Tuscan touches. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, always ready to help with recommendations or anything we needed. The location was ideal—just a short drive to Florence, but far enough to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. One of the highlights was the pool—the view from there is absolutely amazing, overlooking the rolling Tuscan hills. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. We especially loved the garden, the views, and the feeling of stepping back in time while still enjoying all the modern comforts. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and authentic Tuscan experience close to Florence.

We had a great stay at the villa. It is a little off the beaten path from Lucca, but very quiet. The furnishings are designed with a lot of love for detail and the entire accommodation is very clean. We were happy with everything around. Only the driveway is an adventure and can only be done with a small car.

John was a great host. The villa had everything you could possibly need and the photo’s don’t do it justice. Amazing property and we had a great time with a group of 12 friends. Could not recommend it more.

Vittorio was very friendly and responsive. The property was as described and in a peaceful and private setting but with Lucca easily accessible. The accommodation is spacious and extremely clean and would be good for a large family gathering.

We had a lovely stay at Leonardos villa in the hills of the Tuscany. The place has different villas that are within walking distance of each other but with enough distance so that privacy is kept. The villa is very rustic and old, which creates the Italian charm, but of course ants also find their way into the house which you need to be aware of. We were not disturbed by that and loved the country- style feeling of the place!

Silvia is a very welcoming and proactive host. She doesn't hesitate to recommend nearby activities and restaurants. Her place is very nice and the setting is very beautiful! I would recommend it!

We spent 3 days for a bachelorette party. The villa is really crazy, even more beautiful than in the photo. Each floor is independent, with its kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedrooms. The house is crazy in every detail, from the decor to the amenities included. The pergola, the pool and the view are spectacular and we really enjoyed them. We also organized a party with the deejay in the pergola, wonderful! The owner was really top: very helpful in all our requests and was also very flexible both at check-in and check-out. Absolutely recommended place!!!

Beautiful country villa, spacious, clean quiet, private, wonderful surroundings. Hosts were absolutely lovely, kind, and made the stay wonderful.

Overall we had a great stay! The dogs and area are great! Is it about an hour walk to the beach and is a little far from surrounding areas, but the walk is beautiful! We had electricity issues one night but the host was quick to reply. Overall would stay again! The house was very clean, pool was beautiful and a great place to relax!

We had a lovely time, a perfect house for a family!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Emanuela. It was out of the hustle and bustle which was nice and quiet for our family of 6. The villa was very spacious and had everything you could possibly need. You will definitely need your own car to reach this beautiful spot. We spent a day in Florence, a day exploring the wineries on Chianti, and a day at Cinque Terre and Pisa so this location was perfectly situated. Federica was especially so lovely and helpful with organising a train to Florence, places to eat and locating the grocery store. Highly suggest staying at Villa Emanuela.

Had a wonderful vacation in Lucca. Lovely villa and swimming pool. Surroundings where you only hear the birds chirping. The road to the villa was a challenge every day with our van. We greatly enjoyed it and our batteries are recharged. Recommend!

Words cannot describe quite how wonderful this place is. We had an amazing stay. The house was beautiful, the location was more peaceful than you could ever imagine. John and Cath were incredible hosts who were extremely responsive and kind. They provided a fab document giving so much useful info on the property and the local area, they took away all the stress of having to find those good restaurants and the best places to visit. We were a family of 4, the property was glorious, we will be back!
