the Rossino mill

The first traces told about this old mill dating from the late 1500 and early 1600. Owned by the family Giaccai since 1920, the last handler was Scannerini Marino said "Rossino." The mill, located in the heart of Switzerland Pesciatina, is the only property to have intact the original tunnel made with the original Vellano’s stone, that connects the mill to the left side of the river Pescia. Upon exiting the tunnel, there is a private beach with exclusive access to a natural swimming pool bordered by small waterfalls. On the north side was brought to light by the current owners Letizia and Tiberio, the old stone called "gora" which made the water flow to the millpond to operate the millstones, then placed inside the mill, one of which is still visible as part of the outside sink. The building active until the early '50s, at the end of 2002 has been restored with great skill and intended for residential purposes in civil. It is composed of two apartments and a mansard, independent of each other. Each of the units is equipped with fireplace, built-in kitchen, terracotta-tiled floor and and ceilings with exposed beams. The bathrooms are completely renovated with modern standards, are endowed of showers and the mansard is endowed of jacuzzi . The green of the forest and the water flow of the river, make this place an oasis of relaxation in contact with the nature: a beautiful vien on Valleriana and a window into the past, to the discovery of an ancient world full of scents and flavors of the past. The furniture has been personally overseen by Tiberio Bartolini one of the owners, interior designers, also known at the international level, which this mill has wanted to do an emotion to share with any guests to discover a way of life.

The Little House in Tereglio with Fireplace

Our beautiful and cozy house is located in the charming village of Tereglio in the beautiful Serchio valley in the province of Lucca, 6 km from the nature reserve of the Orrido di Botri and 10 km from the Canyon Park adventure park. The house is in the center of the village; the parking lot is about 60 m away. Accommodation facilities are present. The house is a great base for visiting nearby towns such as Barga and Coreglia, both of which are among the most beautiful villages in Italy.

Throughout the summer, Barga comes alive with many typical food fairs, music festivals and art exhibitions. The house is set within olive groves, fruit trees, and forests, with stunning views all around. The garden is perfect for dining 'al fresco' and enjoy the view and sound of the bells of its majestic cathedral. Barga is only 40 mins from Lucca, 50 from Pisa and 90 from Florence. Relax with the whole family at this mountain home surrounded by greenery. The house is located in the small village of Montefegatesi, 850 meters above sea level. It includes an entrance, a kitchen with all the comforts, and a living-dining room with a panoramic view from the terrace (TV and Wi-Fi). A bathroom with a shower, a double bedroom with a terrace, and a small bedroom with two beds (crib and changing table available). An outdoor courtyard with a table, umbrella, and grill.

The Fox's Lair

The house is a stone and wood cottage in the park of the Apuan Alps, an ideal place for those who want to walk in the woods and get to know and visit the attractions of Versilia and Tuscany between the sea and the mountains. The house consists of a full kitchen with a gas stove, wifi, sofa bed, and for heating for the winter season it has a wood-burning stove and preset heat pumps, a bedroom with a full bathroom with a shower, and a wooden loft with a single bed.
