Vacation rentals in Zumbrota

Our group of 6 adults absolutely loved staying here over Christmas week while visiting family in the area. The house is beautiful, comfortable, cozy, and quiet. The area is very safe and you can't beat a lake view, even in winter. We found just about everything we needed in the kitchen and appreciated there was lots of space to cook and store food. There were quite a few things to clean before heading out, but we spread it out over the night before we left and morning of, no big deal since we had lots of helpers. We played a couple rounds of cornhole in the garage, which was so fun! We would definitely stay here again!!

Amazing views, great natural light, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and updated bathrooms. Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and Adirondack chairs on the sandy shoreline watching the wildlife. Super close to Lake City and Frontenac State Park and just a short drive to Red Wing-this is a great spot for exploring the towns, taking a hike or just relaxing at this beautiful spot and home.

We loved the layout of the house and the view of Lake Pepin at sunset. We had just the right amount of rooms and space for my son’s families and myself. The fireplaces were an added benefit which we truly enjoyed. Although we came down with the flu we all enjoyed the time spent there together. Thank you Sandy and Eric for sharing your house with us. It is a very special place.

Place was secluded and nice space for larger group. Snowed while we were there and very responsive and coming to clear. We were staying with 5 adults and 4 kids skiing at Afton/Welch so the location was good. Didn’t spend anytime checking out the small towns or local sites, but appeared to be plenty of that. Also a nice sledding hill in backyard for kids.

Cute cottage was a perfect weekend getaway. Cute town that was walkable from the cottage.

We like to get together as a family on Easter weekend and really enjoy southeastern MN. The eagle viewing was the best we have ever had! The open concept of the main living area was perfect and what a view while making meals! The home was spotless and had everything we needed. Only wish we could get together more often in the busy lives we have for family weekends to laugh, share meals, take walks, go fishing, enjoy a smore around a fire and take in the wonderful scenery! Big River Escape Grandview was perfect for this!!!!

We (5 girlfriends) were very pleased with the townhouse and the gorgeous view of the lake, from both the living room and the upstairs bedroom. The place was clean, well stocked with kitchen equipment, bedding, towels and much more. Beautifully decorated for the season (fall) with very comfortable furniture. Thankyou for making our weekend a joy with your hospitality.
