House vacation rentals in Zocca

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

Monica was very nice and communication was easy. We had a good time. She even left the pool open for us. Unfortunately it was too cold and rainy that week but we still enjoyed the stay.

Even though we only had rainy and cold weather, we loved our second stay in this beautiful house!

We only stayed 3 days and unfortunately we met bad weather, but this did not stop us from taking advantage of the immense garden that with two small children was the salvation🙂 The house offers many spaces (we were two families) leaving way to have the right tranquility and privacy as needed. Alessandro was very helpful and kind and his mother, whom we met before leaving, is a very nice and friendly lady.

We have greatly enjoyed our stay! Fantastic location, beautifully quiet among the olive trees with an exceptionally beautiful view! You can completely unwind here and yet there is plenty to see/experience/taste in the area!

Paola was very helpful and service minded. Nice residence, clean, quiet and peaceful.

We loved the AirB&B, Raphael responded promptly to all our questions, and Laura, the manager was GREAT upon our arrival, and even when we contacted her, she was always VERY PLEASANT and genuinely helpful.

Romantic Alcova a stone's throw from the city center but with the qualities of the country house, quiet and retired. Beautiful property where we spent a week relaxing and which we used as a base to visit Pistoia and the Apennines. Mrs. Gianna is an impeccable host. I recommend it.

Comfortable and nicely appointed three bed / two bath apartment within walking distance to Luca old town. Very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend as an AirBNB. Host provided check-in and other information well in advance, and lots of helpful tourist advice / information about Luca and the area. Found Luca a great base to explore Tuscany.

We stayed here 3 families (6 adults and 4 children between 2 and 5 years old). we already stayed here last year and like last year, everything was great. In addition, the second bathroom was renovated this year, so both were new and modern. the host was very accommodating when booking the stay. in addition, he provided us with a third crib, on the day of arrival he allowed us an early check-in and on the day of departure allowed us a later departure, which was very appreciated by small children. every day was cleaned the pool, which we ended up using only at the beginning of the stay due to the weather. with small children we appreciated the large fenced garden.

We had a wonderful stay. Lara and her family are authentic people, of disarming kindness and simplicity. The house is very clean, cozy and equipped with every comfort, immersed in a quiet and picturesque landscape. Just a 10-minute drive to Gallicano, convenient for any need. And if you don't feel like cooking, Lara's home cooking is a must: authentic and delicious. An experience we highly recommend.

Very nice apartment located within walking distance of train station which was great for day trips to Parma and Verona. Downstairs layout is living room, kitchen, laundry room (separate washer and dryer), and bathroom. Upstairs are both bedrooms and bathroom with tub/shower combo. Bedrooms are almost identical and have closets with plenty of hangers, vanity space, a chair, end tables, and their own heat/ac system. Beautifully decorated with touches important to travelers - hooks, easily accessible outlets, soap, extra blankets and pillows. Didn’t try public busses but looked easy enough. Can also walk to city center or uber.

Loredana was an incredible host. There were 16 of us celebrating my birthday. She was super accommodating and kind. The villa is an oasis! It looks so much better in real life than in the photographs. We will be coming back! Thank you Loredana and Alessandro ☺️

This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at! Highly recommend staying a few days in this beautiful cottage. The gardens are gorgeous, the view is stunning, the surrounds are peaceful. Filippo, his family and the staff were very kind and generous. Their hospitality was second to none. Graciela’s cooking was beautiful and delicious. Filippo was very generous, offering us food (ice creams and a beautiful pie) and several bottles of wine, and we did not feel like leaving at the end. The animals were a plus (5 friendly dogs, a cat, and some turtles!). Everything was perfect and we are so grateful for our time here. Thank you!

I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Bologna. We stayed for 3 weeks and felt right at home from day one. The location is brilliant very walkable into the centre or to the local shops. It is very peaceful and you feel in a real community. The apartment likewise had everything you would need for longer stays and we felt upset to leave. Great host who is really responsive.

A beautiful home with the most magnificent view and surroundings! Getting there: We drove SUV cars, which is reccomended as the road to the house is quite steep. Drive to the house via the small town Eglio. The house: The house is beautiful! Every room has a stunning chestnut ceiling and the interior is kept simple but elegant. It is easy to cook own meals in the lovely kitchen. Everything is clean and tidy! The owner: Due to traffical issues from Bologna, we arrived a couple of hours late, but owner of the house Richard was very kind and did not make an issue of this. Richard was also kind to reccomend a local chestnut festival which we attended. Lovely to experience local culture and food. Where to go: We used the house as a base to travel to Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Pietrasanta (town for people interested in art). It is reccomended to take the train from Lucca to Florence (1½ house) and Pisa (½ hour). Easy and accessable. And the trip via the mountains to the ocean is lovely.

Nice and big town house in Bagni di Lucca. House has 3 floors and 3 bedrooms. House is very well equipped and allow you to have a nice and convenient stay. There is a garden with a swimming pool shared with the other houses. City with restaurants and supermarket is 5 minutes away by car. You can also walk there, there are stairs on your left at the end of the street, they are quite steep but you can be in town in less than 10 minutes. Thank you for the stay!

We had a great stay at Leonardo's finca:-) the finca is located on a very nice hill with a great view of the valley. In the finca you will find a total of four bathrooms and thus ample space to quickly cope even with up to 10 people in the morning. In addition, a spacious living room incl. TV included, where you can also spend a little time indoors together if it gets too warm outside. The outdoor area is also great with a charcoal grill, a porch with enough space and a little more lying space. The pool is 20-30 meters from the house and very large. By the way, basic amenities are also included (contrary to the description)! Leonardo is always helpful with other matters. Two more tips for the accommodation: bring mosquito/brake spray (especially for the pool in the evening) and best enough tire profile and PS to master the journey up the hill. 10/10 would recommend! :-)

Beautiful Tuscan house, full of soul and unheard of charm. Magical place, surrounded by olive trees and hills with beautiful little villages. Close to several places of interest. Loved our stay.

I rented Romina’s place to be able to spend time with family and friends from Germany and England. It was the perfect spot. We were able to travel with the car or rail to the tourist attractions and return every day to a peaceful home with beautiful sunsets. Very relaxing. Very inviting. Perfect for what I was seeking. Yes you need a car. And yes at first the roads are unlike anything in Canada 🙂 but I quickly got used to driving them and found a great parking place in Lucca and then would go from there. The home is very spacious and the garden a real treat. It has everything that you need for a long stay and i recommend a long stay. I would wake up to birds and cooing chickens (no rooster) every morning. I would love to come back one day. Romina has someone change the sheets and towels once per week which is extremely lovely and unusual for Airbnb. Romina herself is super helpful. So friendly and easy going. We stayed in this beautiful Tuscan villa, completely in authentic Italian style. The house is in a brilliant location with views over Montecatini – in the evening a sea of lights! Due to delays on the way, we didn't arrive until 11 p.m., but that was no problem for Cristina. She kindly waited for us and took plenty of time to show us everything. Cristina is an excellent host and communication went smoothly and pleasantly in English. The villa is very private, with a large enclosed property and a fence all around. Parking is available on site. A little tip for future guests: Don't blindly follow your route planner. It will send you via a narrow winding path that you can hardly cross with one car. Preferably take the route through the other side. The swimming pool is tastefully lit in the evening and the surroundings offer plenty of beautiful trips to towns such as Lucca, Florence, Pistoia and Siena. We'd love to come back!
