Welcome to Bosch en Duin in our former garage/barn, which was converted into a very luxurious and stylish home on September 1, 2016. Ideal for 2 people, but also suitable for a family with 2 children or 4 friends. The home is fully insulated and heated by underfloor heating and wood burning stove. Through a window as large as the garage doors and on the other side windows up to the ridge and 3 large skylights, it is a delightful bright space with stunning views of garden and forest totaling 2800m. The Garage consists of one large room with a wooden unit in the middle. On one side of the unit there is a beautiful, complete kitchen with 4 burners/combi oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer integrated in a hard stone countertop. On the other side is a small but tasteful shower (thermostat tap), toilet and sink with automatic tap and illuminated anti-condensation mirror. The unit offers spacious cupboards and drawers and a staircase upstairs. The unit has a double bed of 1.60 x 2.00 m with a lovely sheep wool duvet of 2.00 x 2.00 m. For lodgers who are afraid of heights, there is a spacious and comfortable sofa in the sitting room that turns into a double bed of 1.40 x 2.00 m in one motion. Next to this spacious corner sofa there is another comfy chair to slide comfortably close to the stove. In the dining area there is a spacious wooden table with 4 chairs. The drawings and ceramics images by our son, outsider artist Hannes, give the space a very personal and cheerful appearance. The home has its own private, private and wonderfully sheltered terrace with comfortable garden chairs with pillows. In the forest there is a bench to enjoy nature in peace or to read a book. Finally, there is a hammock for a delicious afternoon nap. The house has WiFi, with which you can watch the available iPad TV via our Ziggo connection, also radio. So there is no flat screen TV. We have a dog of our own, but we don't want a dog in De Garage. Guests can use the entire house, but also the terrace, the forest and the driveway to park their car. We will be there when guests arrive and depart. We tell the guests about our house, the equipment and the area. The house is non-smoking. We do not provide breakfast or other meals. Combine nature and culture in "De Garage," on the estate Ter Wege in Bosch en Duin, surrounded by the woods of the Utrecht Heuvelrug and a short distance from Utrecht and Amersfoort with their many museums, restaurants and other entertainment options. Guests can use our bicycles. A bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. Own transportation is of course always easier and faster. Guests can always reach us by phone for questions.

With the train station around the corner, it is the perfect place (in the middle of the country) to make your city trips to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or the beach.

Our cozy Posthuisje is located in the outskirts of Ermelo on the Veluwe. In the immediate vicinity, you will find plenty of beautiful cycling and hiking routes, the Veluwemeer and forest and heath. The central location also makes it a perfect base for, for example, visiting the Hanseatic city of Harderwijk or Elburg, sauna & wellness resort de Zwaluwhoeve, and Walibi Holland. In the old center of characteristic and unique Broek in Waterland in a barn rebuilt in 2017 behind the farm. Entirely private home with access (self check-in). Split-level with private garden. Downstairs (24 m2) is the living room with sofa, mini kitchen, dining area and separate bathroom and toilet. On the loft is the bedroom with double bed, plenty of closet space, hang and lay. WiFi available. There are two bicycles (Veloretti) for rent, 10.00 per bicycle per day.

Door het hoge plafond en de vele ramen is het licht en ruim met uitzicht over de weilanden/akkers. Er is een veranda en een lounge-plek. Deze plek is uitermate geschikt voor rustzoekers en natuurliefhebbers.
