Such a beautiful place with an amazing view. Definitely worth the visit if you are looking for a place to relax between nature! Very nice to be able to sit in a whirlpool under the stars 😍 Jerry was also very friendly and responsive to all our questions and need. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay! Definitely coming back for a second time. The place, the town, the surroundings, everything was very dreamy. You also have a lot of outdoor activities to keep yourself entertained. My dog loved the open space, tired himself out running all around! I wish I could stay for more time. Peter was a great host, always responsive and proactive. A must visit place of you're looking to stay outside of the buzz of Amsterdam and Hague.

Hi, we were here for an extended weekend. We were immediately in a positive mood due to the communication with Silke, who was super likeable from the first minute. Super pleasant start with key delivery at the reception. A lot of people spoke German, whether at the registration, in the restaurant, on the beach or wherever in the super cute kiosk at the park, and they were all totally sweet. The best thing about everything is this wonderful house right on the lake. 2 minutes and you can start relaxing and having fun in the water right at the dog area. In the photos, we first thought the garden was unfortunately not fenced, but NO, the garden is fenced!!! That was ultra cool. Beware, small dogs (like my dachshund lady) find a way to the lake under the terrace. There is a vacancy here, but maybe your are better educated and are not looking for an extinguisher:D The house simply offers a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy life! We will definitely come back ♡

We (2 people and a dog) had a great week in the "Waterlodge." It was very quiet and private. With the dog, we were able to discover many different paths and make beautiful excursions by car. Harderwijk is highly recommended for this (cute shops, small beach, nice old town, dolphinarium).

Great tiny house, very quiet, just a short walk to the water. Two bikes are available, which are perfect for going to the train station, from where you can be in Amsterdam Centraal in about 25 minutes. Bart Jan was very friendly and gave me the tip to buy the Amsterdam & surroundings ticket (€41.50 for 3 days as much as you want to ride train, bus, tram). I spent very relaxing days there and would come back if I was drawn to Amsterdam again. Thank you!

Located in a vacation home complex, which is generally very quiet and relaxing. The house is very efficiently used with 3 bedrooms and is very well equipped. The location is phenomenal! Direct lake access on one side and fantastic nature on the other. There is only one point that could be improved. Check-in was only possible between 4 PM and 5 PM. There must be no traffic jam etc. on the way, because the reception is then also closed. Improvement: Barbecuing is only allowed with gas - either each house should have a gas barbecue or there should be some kind of gathering place where you can book slots for barbecuing.

The place looks exactly like the pictures. Located with a direct view of a side bay a little off the public beach, which leads to a very quiet environment. All the unidirectional features work perfectly, but you have to go on a little discovery for vacuum cleaners and fans 😉 All in all a really great stay in a very very nice place.

The stay was exceptionally successful – the home turned out to be clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The location in a quiet area provided full relaxation, and the good access and very nice, hassle-free contact with the host only confirmed the high standard of this place. I'd love to recommend!

Overall, we had a very nice getaway. The place is super nice. We and our daughter especially enjoyed the beach with playground and large bounce pillow.

Steven was absolutely amazing! The boat is lovely and well situated and he went absolutely above and beyond to help us out on our stay - he even brought us out on his tugboat for a test run! Could not recommend enough thank you so much for our stay 😊😊

If you want to relax for a few days without doing much, it's perfect. To explore the surrounding villages, it is advantageous to be mobile by car. The complex is spacious and quiet. If you don't want to cook, you can also eat in the restaurant on the premises. All in all, we were very satisfied, unfortunately the weather was not quite as nice as hoped, but we had a nice time there. Thank you for that :)

Had a wonderful stay at Anne’s Airbnb! The check-in was smooth, the place was spotless, and had everything I needed. Great location—close to attractions yet peaceful. Anne was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Markus is a great host and has taken excellent care of all concerns or questions and answered them super quickly. The location of the house in the park is great, everything is within walking distance and parking outside the door is also no problem. All in all, we were very satisfied with everything!

Annette’s home was a great base to explore Amsterdam with our young family. The house is about a 5-10 minute walk to the tram with regular, quick service to Amsterdam. Stores are about 10-15 mins walk. The area is peaceful and there are beautiful views from the house. The kitchen is beautiful and well appointed. The bedrooms and living room are large even by American standards. We did not use the garage but it would be very helpful for anyone exploring further afield with a car.

Fantastic and functional house, with a garden with amenities that exceed expectations. Adequate value for money. Rob is a person who is always available and courteous, very friendly at the reception. Extremely quiet residential area and in line with our expectations, especially logistical, with respect to our vacation plan. Adequate proximity services are available. Recommended experience!

Nice accommodation, in a green and quiet environment, equipped with everything you need. Easy to get to tourist destinations. recommended!

Menno’s place is a beautiful apartment with a well appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds (lovely bed linen!) and in a fantastic location. We were 3 adults (senior mother and two adult daughters), and we used the two bedrooms and the upstairs room. Menno’s friend Ken met us with the key and was very helpful at check in. Ken and Menno were excellent and available in communication and we appreciated the welcome basket! The location is in a lively area, and although some music etc could be heard in the upper bedroom (we stayed during the Liberation Day long weekend), there main two bedrooms were protected from street noise by closing the hallway door. Stairs are a consideration if traveling eirh anyone with a mobility impairment, and the kitchen is not suitable for young children, however these are noted in the listing. Getting back to the train station was 5 minutes on foot. We’d love to return to Hoorn and would definite consider another stay at Menno’s apartment if it is available.

We spent wonderful days! Nice cottage with all the comforts, and the wood stove was a nice plus. There are many towns/villages nearby, there you won't get bored! Henri and Cora are very friendly and easily reachable.
