Monthly Rentals in Žabica

Cute little apartment in a historic building. Not a high-class standard but for us everything we needed was there. It was clean and Hamza also provided earplugs - the bar opposite is well attended on weekends and sometimes stays open longer than 11:00 PM. For us, it was perfectly fine. Late risers should still use this, as you are woken up in the morning by the geese. Hamza was very accommodating and interested in making sure we had a good stay. It was great in Stolac.

We received a very warm welcome and were shown around the apartment, when we were given a bowl of delicious grapes (just before they reached the end of season) picked from Family Pijaca's vines. We felt quite 'at home' there and enjoyed our conversations with Miro, who spoke very good English (unlike our Croatian!!) and with his mother through a few words and sign language.

Indescribably great location with sandy beach right outside the door. Surroundings quiet, secluded and beautiful for walking and hiking. Right in the area, the hotel with restaurant next door, on the beach opposite a konoba (with freshly grilled fish and seafood) and the small bar. Twice a day a small boat docks (connection to Dubrovnik), which we found well thanks to Ivan's instructions. The other place on the island is about 25 minutes' walk. There you will find 2 restaurants, another sandy beach, the only small village shop (fresh goods such as bread come daily with the 10:30 ferry and prices are of course a bit high) and the official ferry (connection Dubrovnik - Elaphiti Islands). We had a quiet, relaxed time. If you are looking for deceleration (there are no cars on the island, only smaller means of transportation) and seclusion away from tourist crowds, this is the place. Even if, of course, excursionists visit the island every day.

Mai and Raivo truly are supperhosts ! They were very responsive prior to arrival , greeted us personally, gave many tips for what to do around town . Apartment is quiet with a nice view , very conveniently located to all amenities within walking distance and easy to find . Everything you need for comfortable stay and sleep is there . We truly felt like home! Thank you for making our stay in Trebinje very memorable :)
