Vacation rentals with beach access in Zaanstad

Very welcoming family, they really care about this place and guests. You can chat a bit, take recommendations, ask for assistance with stuff like parking options around or second sheets and it’s all with respect to guests privacy and headspace so even if you’re introverted like myself you can still experience Dutch friendly vibe without being overwhelmed. Walking distance from busy streets but in peaceful neighbourhood makes this place such a gem.

A 10-star accommodation, quite an experience

Spacious, functional, very clean apartment in a quiet area. All shops nearby... with an excellent pastry shop - chocolate shop. Train station 5 minutes' walk away (convenient for taking the train to Amsterdam in 20 minutes). Beach 4 km away. I would this property. Communication with Koen went very well.

Julie was such a friendly host. We had a great time at her amazing place. It was very well equipped and had a wonderful view on the dunes as well on the beach. We would love to come again in the future. Thank you for everything, Julie! :)

Very nice place to stay in prime location! In the accommodation itself it is nice and quiet and only within 5 minutes you are directly on the beach promenade - highly recommended!

having bikes encouraged us to travel like locals. with help from our hosts we learned the rail system and took day tours of museums in Amsterdam. Haarlem is amazing by itself no reservations about recommending this abnb

The place is nice, clean, close to grrat restaurants. Best if you have a car. Train/bus station is 30 minutes walking. It is a great place to relax, enjoy the water, the surroundings.

The owner was super helpful and helped us book a parking spot for our car. The place itself is spotless and rather quiet. Only two things to note : - She asked for a security deposit of 100€ cash, returned at checkout. - There was no shower soap/shampoo when we arrived.

We had a wonderful holiday with child and dog. We didn't lack anything in the accommodation. The location was great too. Right next to the dunes and not far to the sea. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. Petri was also very sweet.

Great host, Nice contact person, many materials available, shampoo, and coffee pads and beach toys. Great for kids, except you have to be careful on the stairs. We felt very comfortable. Nearby walking distance. Whether shopping, beach or dunes. What more could you ask for? Thank you very much for our short vacation trip with you. 🙂

What a stunning place to stay! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into a spacious and elegantly designed home. The living room is warm and inviting, the high-end kitchen is perfect for cooking and gathering, and the peaceful backyard is an ideal place to relax and unwind. Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed with comfort and guests in mind, making us feel right at home. Our host was so attentive and caring throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful retreat with easy access to the train station and adventures beyond—this is your place!

There were four of us (2 children and 2 adults). Overall, we liked the place very much and we had a lovely time in Wijk! Margaretha and her husband are very nice and are happy to help with questions. You can walk to the beach 5 minutes to the beach. In addition, we were able to use the electric bikes and a handcart (very helpful!) Just to consider: On the upper floor with the beds there is no toilet and the stairs are quite steep and creak a little. Secondly, depending on the wind, you can smell the steel mills nearby throughout Wijk. But as I said, overall we had a great stay and the value for money is certainly very good! We had a lovely family vacation in Wyik aan Zee. Beautiful beach for walking. A trip to Haarlem and Amsterdam were also on the program. Highly recommended. All in all, we will be happy to come back.

Great location. The location is first class. Amsterdam City is also super quick from Haarlem by train, and the parking was free. I'd love to come back.

Our stay at Bertie’s was absolutely wonderful! We had a great time in the cozy house and Berrie was extremely helpful and polite when giving instructions.

Niels place was exactly as described. He was very helpful in terms of answering all my questions and giving me good recommendations about the area. The apartment was very pleasant

A really individual accommodation, totally creatively furnished (70s style)...you had everything you needed, with your own shower and toilet ....bedroom with large window front.. quietly located, but super central...Wijk aan zee is not so big and touristy.. the beach and the dunes were within walking distance ...Sharon and Ivo are super relaxed hosts...there is nothing to complain about...price -performance optimal.. we liked it very much, gladly again!!!

Excellent stay, Jacqueline is remarkably kind and gives very good advice, super quiet apartment in a residential area. Shops are within walking distance in 10 minutes as well as restaurants. A huge beach right next door.

Had a wonderful time in Amsterdam and Elles's place was very convenient! It had everything we needed and was located near multiple transportation options. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing girls' weekend

We were initially planning to stay in Amsterdam for our short visit to Holland but found Tess’ place in Haarlem and stayed there instead. It is a magical place- both the city and the apartment. The space is beautiful- so well designed and full of character. And Haarlem is full of charm without the mobs of tourists. Very easy to get into Amsterdam if you chose to. A great experience!

We had a great time in this little cocoon that we couldn't wait to get back to in the evening. Comfortable bedding. Everything went well, we had relevant recommendations from the hosts. There is everything nearby, supermarket, bar, restaurants… super quiet accommodation. Recommended ++++ See you soon!

Our weekend was very nice and the appartment is truly special :) The interior and the decoration is very interesting and you discover something new all the time. You just need to be aware that there are two steep stairs in the appartment which might cause some issues for people who are not really fit. If that is not a problem for you you should definetly go there :)
