Earth house vacation rentals in Yucatán Peninsula

Eduardo was very kind to wait up for me when I didn’t arrive until almost 9pm. I had a long day of travel and was very hungry so he sent me with his long term tenant to get some fantastic street tacos. The room was everything I could have asked for. This is a very unique place to stay. Being a woman traveling alone and unfamiliar with the city, I would not have been comfortable going out after dark alone. But I still highly recommend this place. I wish I had more time to chat with Eduardo, but I was out and about for the one full day I was there.

One of the best eco and environmental conscious places we have ever stayed. Energy felt amazing there, the reality is even better than photos. Great hospitality as well, highly recommended.

Ideal para desconectarse de la ciudad y disfrutar la naturaleza, la arquitectura de la hacienda, y la bella Casa Sisal. La atención de los anfitriones fue excelente, nos sentimos muy consentidos y en todo momento respondieron nuestras dudas. Recomiendo este alojamiento ampliamente. Si eres amante de la arquitectura, de la buena atención y de los lugares mágicos, entonces Casa Sisal es para ti. ¡Seguramente volveremos pronto! ¡Gracias por todo!

Nick’s villa is absolutely stunning- it was the perfect place for my girlfriend and I. Conveniently located close to town and local restaurants and historic attractions. Rhett, the property manager, stopped by the day that we arrived to fill us in on the do’s and donts while we were in town. The villa itself was immaculate and very well equipped with everything you will need during your stay. Maria and Bernardino were truly amazing- they kept the property in tip top shape and always made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. They cooked us a traditional dinner that was arguably better than some of the restaurant we dined at. All in all this was a perfect experience- I would highly recommend Nicks villa to anyone traveling to the tulum area. It is safe and quiet- I would return in a heartbeat.

This place is amazing! If you are in Campeche and do not want to stay in the city this is the place for you. And Dona Nela (Yolanda) is amazing! She is always there if you need her in a first morning she took us a big bag with oranges from her garden (the last ones in that seasone) and made a juice from half of them. Since we love to cook we made our meals by ourselves, but it is possible that dona Nela cook for you your meals. We asked her for a salsa cooking class and together with her we made 4 different salsas. She was like a grandmother to us, so sweet and caring. We were there for private time for 10 days in our 3 month trip in Mexico and spent almost all time in the property working on computers and wifi was very good. There is also library in the seperate building where you can find books in english and spanish to read. This place is perfect for digital nomads. Drinking water was included in the price and area is considered safe. city is just 20-3- min with combi or taxi.

c'est rare que je trouve un logement aussi réussi du début jusqu'à la fin. Guillaume et Elisa ont créé un lieu avec beaucoup de goût où chaque détail est pensé. Le jardin est agrémenté de plantes tropicales magnifiques. Vous pouvez manger sur place et tout est fait maison et vraiment délicieux. Le personnel est très gentil. Ils ont une liste de lieux à visiter aux alentours et de restaurants. Merci encore à vous deux

The location is very quiet, peaceful and safe. The room we were given is beautiful and comfortable. My son and I enjoyed our stay. We were greeted with a delicious agua de papaya. We also tried a meal prepared by the host and it was delicious!

Thank you Dave and his team for a wonderful experience with extremely superb customer care and communication. Beautiful quiet and secluded location in the jungle of tulum where you can be one with nature. It is truly a nature retreat spot. Thank you for going above and beyond to communicate with care and assist us to get a taxi and ride to tulum centro when there was a protest going on. Highly recommend.

Great location if you want to get away from the routine of every day and just want to relax.

My friends and I truly enjoyed our time at this property. From the moment we got there (and before) the concierge was on hand for anything we needed. They even anticipated things before I could ask, ie asking if we needed a taxi for an excursion they were aware of. The home was exactly as pictured and in fact even more gorgeous in person. I know others mentioned construction noise being an issue for them but the noise we did hear was extremely mild. It never disturbed our peace. Tulum is developing so I expected construction to be something we would have to contend with. The property is located right in the middle of downtown and the beach. I would keep in mind (as a NYer) it’s not the most walking friendly so be prepared to account for transportation. The space was clean and had everything we could have needed. The Wi-Fi was fast moving which was an added bonus. Please take advantage of the added things they offer. If I ever come back to Tulum I would stay here again.

Un grand merci à Jesús pour son accueil exceptionnel à Bacalar. Nous avons été reçus en personne, ce qui est rare et vraiment appréciable. La maison est magnifique, confortable, décorée avec goût, avec une ambiance très apaisante et chaleureuse. Jesús est un hôte très agréable, disponible et attentionné, il a même accepté un late check-out sans aucun problème, ce qui a rendu notre départ beaucoup plus serein. Une vraie belle vibe, on recommande les yeux fermés !

Tuvimos una estancia súper agusto, Tere es una excelente anfitriona, recibimos la casa impecable , tal cual es en la fotos así está la casa ,muy bien equipada y todo en muy buenas condiciones, la playa muy bonita, hermosas vistas.. lo único es que las escaleras de caracol que tiene son pequeñas y pues fue algo incómodo subir las maletas y la puerta del baño de abajo está averiada y le hace falta un ajuste pero si cerraba bien solo como que arrastra un poco y hace ruido …. muebles en perfecto estado, cuenta con Minisplit y todo la vdd muy cómodo, sin duda volveremos !!!
