Beachfront vacation rentals in Yucatán Peninsula

Mami's place is great. Very spacious and comfortable. It has everything you need to have a pleasant stay. Even beach chairs in case you want to go to a nearby beach. Everything was impeccable and there were even courtesies in the refrigerator, which I think is a beautiful detail that not all hosts have.

Gaby was great! Super responsive, took care of all our requests. The place itself was perfect for what we needed, all toiletries were provided. Gaby also sent a laundry service to us to change the sheets and provide new towels. Although we didn’t use the kitchen, it was fully loaded. The only thing I will complain about is the bed not being very comfortable and the sheets kept coming off even when I would put them back in place.

This place was great. I was there with 12 of my best friends and everything worked out perfect staying at Daniel’s place; the house was a great size and the location was very convenient! We enjoyed being right on the beach, and the pool at the house was perfect for what we wanted. Highly recommend!

The accommodation is great, I would definitely come back to this place. Mati was always attentive. There was an incident with an item in the house and Mati resolved it quickly. The condo was wonderful and Michaela was an incredible host. We enjoyed the amazing views and comfortable apartment and felt very well taken care of. Michaela was remarkably responsive when a couple little things came up and made the entire experience smooth. The location on Half Moon Bay was perfect- we snorkeled right out front of the building, using the ample equipment they provided, and loved walking to the beach bars in Akumal (especially Buena Vida and La Lunita). It was also an easy walk to the lagoon, which was a must see as well. Having seen Tulum, we were so glad to have the much more laid back vibe of Akumal. The condo was perfectly located for an easy but peaceful stay with lots of swimming in the pool and staring at the blue water. For what it’s worth, the elevator was working almost the entire time we were there, but was out for part of a day. We did not end up making use of the rooftop area- it wasn’t really necessary with the lovely deck on the apartment.

Being a host myself I read reviews and want a clean safe place. This place checked all those boxes and more. This was a girls trip for my friends birthday We felt safe and well takin care of. We ordered groceries ahead of time so they were in the room when we arrived . Joel works in the office and was ABSOLUTELY so nice and helpful. All of the staff here work so hard. If you want a nice condo by the ocean don't hesitate to book . I would absolutely stay here again and trust me when I say I am picky. Herman’s house on the beach in Chuburna is beautifully designed and thoroughly comfortable. I chose it based on reviews, its unique appearance, privacy and location away from touristy areas. Progreso, however, is 20 minutes away and offers a supermarket, restaurants etc. Having a car is highly recommended for those who want to visit points of interest in the Yucatán, such as the Mayan archeological site at Uxmal, the flamingoes in the Celestun biosphere. and various cenotes - all experiences well worth the drive. The Mayan museum in Mérida is also wonderful to visit. Herman’s onsite list was very good guidance for what not to miss. Thoroughly recommend this house. Linda

Very spacious and comfortable beach house. It had everything we needed for kids and adults to have fun. In addition, the location on the beach is spectacular, beautiful beach and sunsets.

If you’re looking for the perfect Airbnb in Akumal/Tulum/Playa del Carmen—this is it! The home is stunning: spacious, modern, full of natural light, with an incredible pool and views. It’s in a peaceful, safe area, and the host and staff go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. They offer amazing recommendations—massages, restaurants, chefs, yoga, boat trips, cenotes, and more. We used Chef Ricardo for most meals and highly recommend him! We visited for a bachelorette trip and were welcomed with themed balloons and a super cute setup. Despite last-minute changes, the team was extremely accommodating and responsive. Whether it’s a bachelor/bachelorette party, family vacation, friend getaway, or a relaxing retreat, this place is a 10/10. Huge thanks to Charlotte and team for making our trip so special and seamless!

We stayed at Jorge's place with the 6 of us for 5 days. This AirBnB is abaolutely gorgeous. It's like you walked straight into a pinterest picture. The house is super well furnished, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped and everything was very clean. and the views.. oh my. beautiful! The bedrooms are very spacious and beautifully made and the bathrooms have everything you need and are clean! Jorge was very flexible about an earlier check in, welcomed us at the house and explained all the important things. He also provided us with some local tips for restaurants and made sure to answer all our questions in a very timely manner. We had a great time at this place and we will for sure consider coming back in the future.

Beautiful spot, kids- 12,15,18 - ranked the home (in aggregate) as the top highlight among many memorable activities…especially the days lounging by the pool. Secure, comfortable and overall very easy. Bikini Bar is a 2 min walk (if that) and great food and service. Akumal only a 7 min drive with a local market that has most everything. Downtown Tulum with great restaurants is less than 30 minutes . William is very helpful (enjoyed a boat ride to Akumal for snorkeling) with added on site security.

This is a 5 stars place no doubt! If we could give more than 5 stars for cleanliness we would as we found the house spotless on all fronts. Great communication for ease of check in and check out. Excellent for groups given the numerous seating areas that can accommodate 8-10 people all at once, outdoor as well as indoor. Accessing the ocean for a swim is swift although you have to cross over the concrete wall or step over sideways so maybe a little difficult for low-mobility individuals. Don't miss these raved about sunset swims tho! Would definitely come back!

We’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs, and this one was the best one yet—such a high value for a low price. Camille and Edir were phenomenal hosts; Edir especially met us in person a few times and was so amazing and gave above-and-beyond service. The apartment itself is incredibly beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos, but feels even more spacious than the photos. I was so impressed with the laundry service, daily housekeeping and beautiful pool right on the beach. This stay was an enormous value!!! Thank you Edir and Camille!!

Our stay at playa villa was exactly as we hoped. Marilyn was very responsive and helpful. The location was quiet and private. If we needed anything it was just a text away. The one restaurant near us- Coconut Cafe - was very close and the food was great! Staff was amazing and prices were fair. The boat staff- Striker and Jaylen were awesome! Always right on time and super friendly. We went fishing and snorkeling a couple days and those trips didn’t disappoint. We loved our stay! The Belizean people are so warm and welcoming. We hope to be back

We have been to 5 cabins in Tulumcito and certainly with Jorge we no longer want to try another one, we are sure that we will return, we were super comfortable, they really think of everything and supply all your needs! We were very happy and we are very satisfied indeed!!! They have a power plant, we always had water and we had an amazing time. Thanks Jorge for everything

If you find it’s available do not think twice. It was an amazing stay. We loved it. Super private and far from the major part of the city which we loved. The drive back to the air bnb in the golf cart was always such a great treat for us. It’s about 20-30 minutes depending how fast you go on the golf cart. The private beach and overall vibe was amazing. The bar next door is literally next door, like 15 feet away. Loved this place.

Our family of six with kids ages 6 months to 8 years loved staying at Nirvana Blue. The privacy and natural surroundings are beyond exceptional. We chose to have a private chef for the duration of our stay, which elevated our stay significantly. Jose planned our daily menus and cooked delicious meals three times per day. He was also great company and helped us better understand local culture and nearby opportunities. We cannot wait to return.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Playa del Carmen! The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and everything else we wanted to explore. The neighborhood felt safe and was incredibly beautiful, with plenty of charm and vibrant local culture. The home itself was spotless and very well-maintained. You can tell the host puts a lot of care into making sure guests feel comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. From check-in to check-out, the host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and kind—truly one of the best we’ve encountered. This place really made our vacation stress-free and enjoyable. This condo was absolutely beautiful!!!! We loved our stay in the Sunset Caribe! Mariah is theeee best hostess evvvvveeerrr!! She responds so fast, solves the issues that are brought to her attention and gives recommendations of things to do. The instructions guide she listed was amazing and sooo helpful! I’m truly happy I found this place on Airbnb. It was awesome! Mariah gets 10’s across the board!!!!
