Hawk's Nest - the way to relax - cabin # 2

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We enjoyed our stay in Dena's place. She always reacted fast when we had questions. The cabin had everything we needed. Water pressure could be better but we managed. It is away from the city center so the bikes that come with the cabin are very handy. There is a supermarket close by. We can recommend hawks nest.

Cabins in ecotourist Ranch with cenotes

SuzannaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We enjoyed our stay at Lucía's property. The place is beautiful and is within a very short walk of the incredible Cenote Suytan. Guests at this accommodation get a wristband that allows free entry to the cenote every day, which was a real treat for us during our stay. We are also grateful to the hosts for their good communication during our stay and going out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable experience. One thing we would like to flag for future guests is the walkable restaurants close at around 6pm (or they did on the night we stayed at least), so we'd recommend planning around this.

Family-friendly Eco-house | Meli-Melo Tulum Jungle

TaniaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Our stay at Quentin’s place was fabulous! We made memories for a lifetime. It was different from typical touristy places, which was nice for a change of pace. The write-up gave us a great idea of what to except. And we appreciated that Quentin advised us to have a rental car, as the road getting in and out, is a bit far from the main road and is quite bumpy. The palapa in which we stayed was roomy and creatively designed in harmony with the surroundings. My daughters loved the hammocks that were inside our space. The shared kitchen was clean and organized. We did not encounter many bugs but there was small spray provided if needed. Quentin was very welcoming and helpful, providing recommendations for us on our trip. His responses to any questions were immediate and thoughtful. The whole space was beautiful, great for relaxation and a break from city life. We would highly recommend this lodging for anyone who loves to try new things. We really loved having the opportunity to stay here!

Tiny House Blue Hole in the Forest

AndreaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Tucked away from the main city, can hear frogs throughout the night but we had the fans going so it didn’t bother us. Excellent value, description is very accurate. No AC, but we visited in July and it was surprisingly comfortable with the fans going. We enjoyed our stay. Main thing that stood out was how kind Carren was. We asked if she had an extra lighter to light our mosquito coil (DONT FORGET TO BRING BUG SPRAY), and when we got to the house she had two forms of bug repellent, along with a citronella candle and a lighter in a basket for us to use. So sweet!

Therapy Cabin 2 at St. George's Caye

JeffRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a fantastic stay! We were the only ones renting at the time, making it quite lovely to have the place ourselves. Emily is a fantastic cook, so I recommend planning at least a few meals through the host. If you do your own food, plan your meals (the host can take you shopping before leaving) because it costs for the boat ride to get more supplies. Belle and Bruno were the best four-legged hosts, so if you love large dogs, you will enjoy them as we did. They swim out to play with the dolphins pretty much daily! Eugene has a wealth of knowledge about what to do and see; he is your best resource. The young lad Omar helped with everything, including showing me how to fish.

Long Term Stay in the country Not for Sissies

MarkRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had a great stay with Bart! Great guy, I’d strongly suggest spending some time with him, and take part in some of his side work. I went to several festivals with him selling flavored ice, awesome to experience the different cultures, from a Mennonite rodeo, to a tilapia festival in creole country, couple La Ruda Maya events! Great eggs, something about the frying pan, but boy were they good. Nothing special about the rental, simple, but very entertaining watching the wildlife, and chickens on the back deck, watch your roommates fly out of the eaves, and comeback in the morning! Take buddy for a walk every morning, but watch Rexy, he’ll try and give you a smooch! I loved my stay there, and would definitely do it again, but you gotta be an outdoor camping type! You’re not at the Hilton! Barb was in the states, so I didn’t personally see her long, but she always returns text, and checks in on you regularly. Quiet, and comfortable for my type of person! Enjoy, and relax!!

If you find it’s available do not think twice. It was an amazing stay. We loved it. Super private and far from the major part of the city which we loved. The drive back to the air bnb in the golf cart was always such a great treat for us. It’s about 20-30 minutes depending how fast you go on the golf cart. The private beach and overall vibe was amazing. The bar next door is literally next door, like 15 feet away. Loved this place.

We were very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this tiny home was! It felt spacious for two of us, truly was newly constructed with new amenities, and had indoor and outdoor (pool & deck) amenities that made for a very relaxing vacation! Bikes included made it easy to get around without need for a rental cart. Very walkable from the airport too.

We absolutely loved the Tiny House. It was at the crossroads of cozy and luxurious. Lots of amenities with great attention to details like extra towels and extra water. Perfect location not too far from the hustle and bustle of the Playa Norte area. The tiny pool is a fantastic touch. Would definitely rent the Tiny House again 10/10!

Caye Caulker Cottage. Studio with loft.

BradleyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wendy was a fantastic host. Gave us tips for getting to the island, suggested spots to check out and eat and also told us about a new yoga place near by. Wendy’s suggestions helped make our trip great. The little cabin is small but exactly as described in the listing. Bed was cozy and the air conditioning kept the place comfortable and cool. The location is close to the airport and a little outside of the main town area but it was nice and quiet and only a short walk or bike ride to the main strip in town. The little plunge pools out front are a great place to cool off after a morning of scuba diving and the decks get plenty of sun throughout the day. Wendy’s son also rents bikes for the day if you need more than one which is very convenient and helped us explore the island a little more. Can’t wait to come back and visit Caye Caulker.

Casa tulix Tulum eco-chic

SimeonRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Large, beautiful property with lots of charm and all of the amenities. It's the jungle and the buildings are simple, so prepare to contend with a few ( harmless ) bugs in the outdoor kitchen and in the rooms. Road to property is a bit long, narrow and rough. Internet was a bit spotty ( reportedly due to construction nearby ) but cell reception was good. Overall met my expectations and was a joy. Thanks Hiram!

Palapa Flor 2

SabrinaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Cristina's palapa was super cute, close to the restaurants and beach, everything was clean and organized. Getting there was smoothly and we had everything we needed. It's a bit loud at nighttime with the karaoke close by and we happened to be there during construction across the street. But if that construction wasn't happening it would have been perfect. Thank you so much Cristina for providing such an affordable and welcoming place for us to stay. Would stay there again.
