Marcela exhibited remarkable hospitality. Furthermore, she extends that warmth not only towards me as a host but also to other guests. Additionally, her friendliness, warm welcome, and readiness to assist in finding excursions and restaurants was truly exceptional. Moreover, the accommodations were beautiful, lush vegetation, a pool, comfortable beds and plenty of free drinks offered. Marcela’s place is truly an oasis that we will gladly return to.

Villa Morena was probably the nicest accommodations we have ever stayed in. As described, it is a beautiful oasis created by a wonderfully accommodating family. Vanessa could not have been more helpful in making us feel at home. We loved everything, from the clean and spacious cabana, the incredible breakfast and dinner meals, the bird song upon waking every morning, and basically the whole vibe with family, cats, and dogs all relaxing in this jungle oasis. Can't recommend highly enough!

The place is amazing the rooms are like cabañas, big bathroom quick hot water,the personal are friendly, the location is the best, it’s very close to the aroueqlógical zone, loved the pool and the restaurant good food and drinks,I highly recommend the place.

Everything is amazing, facing the beach and muuuy near the lighthouse. The rooms are a bit hot for being made of wood but is resolved with the air conditioner. They're rustic and very simple, simple. The TV, not having an antenna, does not cach the channels, but they give you a USB with movies. With the essentials to have someplace to sleep. Being made of wood, you can hear everything from the cabin upstairs. If this doesn't really bother you, it's a great option. The reception service is very good. They help you at all times

If you’re reading this and considering staying here, read no further and go ahead and tap that big pink reserve button. The people here are wonderful, and the place is perfectly peaceful. The included breakfast of fresh juice, fruit, tea or coffee and toast with extras was excellent. The optional dinner they offer was always delicious. There are a few other huts on the property yet the place was always quiet, especially in comparison to the chaos you get at the big resorts in Mexico. We loved the natural vibes here. Some good-to-knows: Everything in their description is accurate, just be aware the bed (at least in the hut we were in) is quite firm. Getting here with your own rental car is the way to go IMO, especially if you want to explore the area. Taxi from Akumal to the Villa is MX$600. We’ve stayed at a lot of really great airbnbs but I’m not sure we’ve ever been quite so sad to leave as we were when dragging our suitcase away from this one. It was the perfect escape.

The cabins are on the beach, inside the cabins there is air conditioning, you can order by private bathroom in the rooms for an extra cost, you can ask for the extra food service, although I would recommend looking for alternative options, excellent location. Definitely an exceptional place to return to and would recommend.

Highly recommend! Social media doesn’t do the property justice. Very scenic, quiet, and serene with modern touches to make your stay feel as comfortable as possible while staying in the jungle.

Sandra a very nice person, I thank her for having received us after the check-in time, a pleasant experience. No restaurants nearby, Pero Sandra offers breakfasts and very rich food in truth and at a very good price😋. I would definitely stay at this place again 😊

Excellent place to see birds and flora and natural fauna of the area. Very friendly and they know a lot about the history and culture of the place.

How always everything is very good, perfect to rest and relax a little, the cenote is perfect to refresh you, perfect accommodation if you want to find some wild species, highly recommended, breakfast of 10. The host is very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return again 😊

The lagoon very nice, the clean facilities, you have to do your shopping before because there are no groceries nearby , and in the cabanas they only put a little soap , I did not like that at night the light plants that were located just behind the cabins, which prevented a pleasant rest, I would like to have more lighting the descent towards the lagoon,

The place was above our expectations, quiet in the jungle but close to everything. You have access to the beach from 8am to 6pm (pity it's before sunset, it is otherwise possible to come back by a restaurant for example). Ivo on site was very welcoming.

All employees were very available. The communal kitchen is outdated. There's no running hot water in the kitchen, so the majority of them wash the dishes in the cold east. It's a place far from Route 307. The site is very peaceful, quiet and charming, with its cenotes and the sounds of waterfalls.

Very nice welcome and the activities we were able to do were very interesting. Meeting with local people was very enriching for us. The space was simple but clean. On the other hand, in the morning, we didn't have hot water to shower. In addition, on the evening of our arrival, we had not planned anything to eat because we thought that in this community, it would have been possible to eat. However, we quickly found ourselves alone and there was nothing around to go shopping. Despite this, our short stay went well and we will keep fond memories of our time in Yaxunah. Thank you Orlando, Holga and Alvea for your welcome, your dish cooked underground, your tortillas, your breakfasts..... yes, apart from dinner which was forgotten, we were able to taste some delicious Mayan dishes!

Maria & her cousin Jonathan were wonderful hosts. They made us feel very welcome and were accommodating to all our needs throughout our stay. The EcoLodge is a small piece of paradise filled with gorgeous green space and tranquility. Highly recommend! My fiancé & I hope to be back one day.
