El lugar es bellísimo, la pasamos super bien, nos relajamos,.siempre estuvieron al pendiente de nuestro alojamiento

Es war sehr ruhig und interessant. Hector war ein super Gastgeber und hat alles dafür getan, dass wir uns wohlfühlen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, haben Empfehlungen für unsere weitere Reise bekommen und einige Informationen über Yucatan. Man muss wissen dass man in einem Wald übernachtet und es kann natürlich sein, dass man auf das ein oder andere kleine Tierchen trifft, allerdings ist dies kein Problem.

Excelente anfitriona,siempre pendiente y atenta de que llegues bien al destino. Lugar limpio,amplio ,acogedor,equipado con todo lo necesario para que tu estancia sea confortable. Habitaciones cómodas,limpias y bonitas. Aparte el lugar está cerca de la laguna de Bacalar y del centro,puedes llegar caminando sin problema. Sin duda volvería a ocupar el lugar cuando regrese a Bacalar ❤️.

This was a wonderful stay, I loved everything Ms.Maria provided and enjoyed the garden. The cabin was beautiful and clean, with everything necessary for a great stay. If you are planning to stay in Cozumel you should definitely consider staying at Ms. Maria place, she is great person!

¡Mi estancia fue maravillosa! La cabaña es preciosa, cómoda y tiene una energía muy linda, perfecta para descansar. Todo estaba súper limpio y bien cuidado. Pero lo mejor de todo fue el trato: fueron increíblemente atentos y amables, me hicieron sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. ¡Definitivamente volvería y lo recomiendo al 100%!

Large, beautiful property with lots of charm and all of the amenities. It's the jungle and the buildings are simple, so prepare to contend with a few ( harmless ) bugs in the outdoor kitchen and in the rooms. Road to property is a bit long, narrow and rough. Internet was a bit spotty ( reportedly due to construction nearby ) but cell reception was good. Overall met my expectations and was a joy. Thanks Hiram!

We stayed at Patricia’s place on our way to Merida from Bacalar. It’s location is very convenient and it’s a very peaceful place in a walkable distance to the town center. There’s a very beautiful swimming pool, too. Patricia and her family is very welcoming and helpful; with our internet connection, laundry, etc. We’re very happy with our stay and definitely recommend it

Godfrey communicated with us in advance and arranged pick up from airport to a restaurant (he had a few recommendations) and then being brought from restaurant to the cabin He was very friendly and welcoming The cabin was clean , nice wooden floors, comfortable bed , quite, felt nice with A/C We were able to heat up our breakfast in Mwave and made black coffee

What a great little space at the end of the road near the lake. We appreciated the suggestion of the Restaurant Tono where the food was great and the owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. Definitely will try to book again on our way back home.

This place is perfect for certain travelers. It is secluded; not far from Akumal, but once you arrive here, you won't want to leave. It is a place to unplug, relax, and get away. The home is a beautifully-constructed palapa with screened bedrooms, but otherwise wide open. Jungle noises, fresh air, and yes, insects, bats, and iguanas can and do pass right through. There is no air conditioning or heat, and the lovely private bathroom is a short walk down a path. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep; something to think about if you need to use the bathroom during the night. The outdoor space is huge, including a private cenote used by other guests, but we were usually the only ones there. The grounds include a temazcal, and other hand-built structures and lots of indigenous art. There are hammocks to nap in; spider monkeys and many species of birds. The staff are lovely, and Christiam is great. All are very responsive and helpful. Bring plenty of groceries so that you don't have to leave.

This is our second time staying in this beautiful cabana and it was nothing short of perfect just as the last time. Maybe even better. The bed is beyond comfortable. The cabana is perfect whether you have a short or long stay. It’s clean, the host Mario and Maite are absolutely supportive and are top notch when it comes to making sure you have what you need. Nothing less than a 5 star review from us. Thank you for welcoming us back.

Best beds of the entire trip. Cute new cabin with everything you would want or need. It’s a short walk down a paved path that has an almost magical look at night. It’s not super easy to find but there are signs. Google maps won’t take you the right way and the road can be a little washed out but it’s fine. Loved it.

Peter and family were awesome. Friendly and accommodating. Kayleigh's (sp?) cat sanctuary was cool. Kitchen worked great and had all the necessary tools. There was an abundance of wildlife in the area that you can see just from looking out the windows. We even caught a ride with Peter to the local market and the Amish supermarket. He also had great recommendations for outings. The bed was comfortable. Be aware that the bathroom is small (the husband of us is over 6 feet tall and still made it work). Be aware of the time of year and the weather that you can tolerate. Taxis are easy, usually 6-8 BZD (for 2ppl) to get to the main part of town. Overall, a great place. We stayed 2 weeks and would stay again and recommend to others.

Where to start ? This place is not for the faint of heart, it’s a lot but at the end worth it. You have to drive about 30 mins off road to reach the home, you NEED A 4X4 !! No exceptions ! You will not make it up there without a 4X4 and even with a 4X4 it’s going to take some patience and skill. The home is very hot, there is no ac and the fans aren’t doing much. You are in the jungle, there will be scorpions, geckos wasps and everything you can think of in and around the home. The views are beautiful and the jungle at night comes alive. It’s truly a once in a life time experience. The day we visited we got the privilege to see a full moon, blood moon and full lunar eclipse at once and the jungle came alive with howler monkeys pumas and all types of wild life making noise. We even bought a tent to experience the jungle and set it up on the deck. All in all a lot more intense than we anticipated but in the end was worth it. The host was also very attentive polite and accommodating!!!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were also so happy to have such a nice place to relax after a long day out. Our favorite thing was the view from the porch every morning. We hope to be back someday. Miss Bertha is one of the best hosts!

Juliet and her husband are amazing hosts! So friendly and always willing to assist anything we needed. They gave great restaurant recommendations and numbers to local taxi drivers that were great as well. If you stay here, please order their breakfast. It’s absolutely delicious! Such a great experience 🙂

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property! From the moment we arrived, Ann made us feel incredibly welcome—she is truly a gem. The place was pristine, private, and surrounded by gorgeous fruit trees that added so much charm and tranquility. The property felt very secure, yet the neighborhood itself was peaceful and safe. We walked everywhere—whether it was to catch the ferry to Caye Caulker & San Pedro, grab some cash at the bank just around the corner, or pick up fresh fruit and handmade tortillas from the nearby stands. Everything you could want was within a short walk. There are also fantastic local restaurants just minutes away, all offering delicious and authentic meals. We highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful, and authentically local experience with the bonus of a host who truly cares. Thank you, Ann!

The place itself was nice. The hosts were very accommodating and brought me a screwdriver within 5 minutes of me asking if they had one I could borrow. The house was not fully furnished with pots and pans but we made do the one night we decided to cook. There was no place to swim in the sea, but there was a pool that we were not expecting. Overall it was a nice jumping off point for our time in Belize.
