The most magical place we stayed in Vietnam! The bungalows perfectly combine authentic Vietnamese living with modern amenities - shower with hot water and good pressure, which is definitely not to be taken for granted in Vietnam. The bungalow is situated above a stream, so throughout the day we enjoyed the soothing sound of flowing water. Additionally, the internet connection was exceptionally stable and fast, which allowed us to work without interruptions. Xoi is the perfect host - she helped us with everything we needed. When we weren't feeling well, she accompanied us to the nearest pharmacy and doctor. She even arranged bus tickets for us, including personal communication with the bus driver to ensure we wouldn't miss anything. We had the privilege of dining with her and her wonderful family, enjoying authentic local food. In short, an experience we will never forget.

We had a beautiful and peaceful stay at May’s homestay with our two young children. The location is nestled in nature and offers a great escape from the city. May was incredibly warm, responsive, and helpful right from the time of booking—she patiently answered all our questions and made sure we felt welcomed and informed. The food was a highlight for us. We are vegan, and they went the extra mile to accommodate our dietary needs—even preparing delicious egg-free meals for our kids. The herbal bath and tour options looked very interesting, and we appreciated being able to discuss them in person before deciding. The room was cozy and just right for our family, and they provided extra mattresses as requested. A small suggestion for future guests—if you’re coming with a private taxi, make sure your driver has clear directions to the village, as the homestay is a little off the main route. This Airbnb is an absolute gem! Homestay is fully equipped, spotless, and well cared! The privacy is unbeatable. With a beautiful garden and no immediate neighbors, we could relax, laugh, and enjoy ourselves without worry. The peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a true retreat. The location is perfect, away from noisy main roads, offering pure tranquility. And the kitchen—wow! Spacious, airy, and perfect for cooking, especially with fresh organic vegetables from the garden and generous neighbors who share their delicious homegrown produce. The garden even has grapefruit and papaya trees, so we enjoyed fresh fruit straight from nature! Finally, the host is beyond amazing—100 out of 10! Incredibly kind, always available, and quick to help with anything. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-equipped, and truly special place in Yen Bai, this is it. We’d absolutely stay again. Staying at Van’s place is a very special experience. It is beautiful, remote, rustic and authentic. It is a bit challenging to get to, but well worth it. Perfectly off the beaten path. Van is a wonderful host, we enjoyed dinner with her and seeing her farm. We spent one night, getting there via motorcycle. The road up to the house is challenging to ride, so if you don’t have much experience, highly suggest walking.
