A perfect sanctuary to relax in quiet Yen Bai. We loved our time at Dinh Gia Trang, which offers the traditional feeling of a bamboo stilt house but includes all the modern luxuries. Everything was so clean and classy, and the garden and rooms are very well looked after. Vi was so friendly and helped us with our travel to and from Yen Bai, as well as local recommendations to visit nearby and a scooter we could hire to get around. The cafe also provides delicious food and drinks! We left feeling so refreshed and connected to nature. Cannot recommend this place enough :)

Vi is a very friendly and open host. She was always reachable and helped us with everything we wanted to know. The room was clean and looked like the pictures. There is an AC so that you can set the room temperature you want. The bathroom is very nice. It has no windows and is therefore open. The property is very beautiful and has many traditional details. It is very easy to relax with the calm music, the green surrounding and the lovely decoration. There is also a small restaurant on the property where you can book good breakfast and dinner, as well as coffee and snacks for reasonable prices. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much, Vi! This Airbnb is an absolute gem! Homestay is fully equipped, spotless, and well cared! The privacy is unbeatable. With a beautiful garden and no immediate neighbors, we could relax, laugh, and enjoy ourselves without worry. The peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a true retreat. The location is perfect, away from noisy main roads, offering pure tranquility. And the kitchen—wow! Spacious, airy, and perfect for cooking, especially with fresh organic vegetables from the garden and generous neighbors who share their delicious homegrown produce. The garden even has grapefruit and papaya trees, so we enjoyed fresh fruit straight from nature! Finally, the host is beyond amazing—100 out of 10! Incredibly kind, always available, and quick to help with anything. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-equipped, and truly special place in Yen Bai, this is it. We’d absolutely stay again. We had a fabulous stay in Lim Mong at Thanh Nga's homestay. The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful and Thanh Nga's was so lovely to help us organize some activities and logistics. Have dinner at the homestay, the meals were incredible! You'll share the bathroom with the other guests and note that the rooms are not fully sound proof but this was superceeded by the hospitality of Thanh Nga and her family.

Me and my wife visited Xoi's homestay in july of 2024. We were travelling through vietnam by motorcycles. Xoi was excellent in her communication, not only did she instantly reply to my messages but her English was spot on. She's a very happy and excited host. The whole family is great. We had an amazing dinner with the whole family and another french couple that was also staying at Xoi's. we stayed for one night in the most beautiful room we could imagine. This place is a 100% worth the drive. If we ever come back to northern vietnam this is definitely a place we are going back to. Xoi is great, food was great, room was awesome. You SHOULD go here!

We had a great time at Phuongs place. Very kind family and an amazing host. The most amazing home-cooked dinner and he gave us a bunch of tips on where to stop in and around the area and hidden gems. Highly recommended!
