Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Cottage has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard and everything you need is provided. Bed is super comfortable and shower and huge tub are great. It is so peaceful. There was something very special about sitting in the hot tub after a busy day walking watching the sun set and the hares play in the field. All you will hear while you stay is birdsong.

Maria is the best host we’ve ever had through Air BnB. We can’t recommend her highly enough and have already recommended the lodge to multiple friends. She has excellent recommendations and takes very good care to ensure you feel welcome and comfortable.

Myself, partner & teenage son stayed at Vicky’s for 3 nights who was a great host with fast replies to messages. The cottage was clean on arrival, private & relatively quiet with easy check in. The beds were comfy, the pub next door did great food and was quiet on an evening. The cottage itself was as described- a place to rest your head after a busy day out & about. The tv was very old school but worked fine, the heating was definitely needed as was cold without but cozy otherwise. There was wifi but it didnt work much for us- not a problem though. We couldnt seem to get the vac to work so couldnt vac up before we left unfortunately and the hot tub was a great addition although, there was a lot of what looked like sand/limescale that settled when the jets were off. All in all, we had a nice stay & would recommend!

Lovely peaceful place for us to stay with our three dogs for New Year. A lovely setting with so much green space. Kate was a great host with local knowledge and recommendations. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay.
