Incredibly charming home that matched the description. Fresh decor in the cabin and Sophie was easy to communicate with. In addition, it was a peaceful location with nice views and extra cozy with the horses grazing around the cabin. Would highly recommend!

Sarah's house is beautifully decorated and you feel right at home. It's much more spacious than you'd think based on the photos and she really thought of everything. From lovely slippers and bathrobes to everything in the kitchen cabinets to bake cookies. When you get out of the cottage, you will be in the woods in no time (with beautiful rock formation) and you can take wonderful walks on both sides. For our dog a party every day at the early morning walk. Furthermore, there is a lot to see in the area about nature, lakes, etc. Vimmerby with Astrid Lindgrens Varld is half an hour and Vastervik is an hour away if you would like to see some people instead of hiking in nature. Sarah always responds very quickly and adequately if you have a question (but we didn't have that much because she does it well).

very nice Schwedenhausen in Vimmerby in the forest, not far from a lake. Everything you need on vacation is available in the kitchen. Good starting point for activities around Vimmerby. Very nice host who was always available and gave good tips for the area.

Very cozy cabin by the water. Everything was as described and worked. Made it an easy and enjoyable stay! Only downside is the noice from the big road close by, but if you can ignore that, this is a great option for a bigger group of people!

We searched for an undisturbed home for New Year, and this exceeded expectations, affordable, well-equipped. Good contact with Anette all the time. Would love to come back again.

We've had a great week in the house and seen a lot around . Everything was petted . We wrote and asked for some things and immediately got it . The house was clean and cozy.. looked after Her description of the house .. we can definitely recommend Ann's house to others and should we go up again. Would definitely choose the house again.

The place was very clean and comfortable during our stay. Especially the kitchen is well equipped - everything you need for a few days in Vimmerby. The nice cottage is also cleverly located for a visit to Astrid Lingrens Värld; you can walk there for about 25 minutes. The hosts were available and very accommodating and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin - two children and two adults. The cabin is cozy, clean and homey with all the equipment we needed. There is a nice tranquility around the house and we enjoyed eating on the covered terrace. We had good fishing trips in Sjöarp lake, which was within walking distance to the cabin. The cabin is a good distance to Astrid Lindgren's world. Absolutely recommendable if you want a peaceful holiday in nature.

This place is something special. The view takes your breath away. It's so beautiful with the loveliest peace and quiet. We borrowed the rowboat and sailed out on the lake, and it was wonderful. My husband and son sailed out every day and fished, and they had amazing fishing experiences where they caught pike and perch. The lake is also great to swim in! The place therefore needs to be five stars, because it's really something special. The house was nice and clean and the kitchen had what we needed. However, it is also important to know that it is an older house that is simply decorated in original style. The outside bath worked fine and the toilet was easy to use. When it rained (we had both rain and sun), my daughter missed a soft couch to relax in. Communication with Filip worked easily and he was very helpful with questions. I can definitely recommend this place if you love water, nature, beautiful views, peace and quiet and enjoy swimming and possibly fishing.

The house is the ideal starting point, especially for children and lovers of the classic Småland idyll. The furnishings are also original as 100 years ago, but offers current standards. Accessible with ramp at the entrance, if registered in advance. The living room is unfortunately on the upper floor, only accessible via a steep staircase, but since there is a large kitchen and Wi-Fi we did not miss much. The lake is about 2 km away. Hilly, so for fit cyclists or e-bikes. Wheelchair users should also be electrified. Ideally suited for dogs. Impressive nature in the immediate vicinity, including a nearby national park. Astrid Lindgren Park, Katthult-Hof, Elk Safari Park and much more are easily accessible, but away from any mass tourism. Plenty of relaxing tranquility and complete freedom for children, dogs… And not unimportant: very friendly landlords who are happy to accommodate special requests. Nils-Erik's cabin was the perfect destination for my three university buddies and me. The wooden cottage is located in the middle of an old farm, which is not inhabited, only a few sweet cows have kept us company. The view from the cabin to the lake is breathtaking and the silence magical. We could really switch off, relax and be completely undisturbed among us. With the oot rudder you can explore the lake or hike with boots through the surrounding forests. If you are yearning for more civilization, day trips are also easily doable by car. If we are drawn back to Sweden, we will definitely come back here! :)

We stayed in the cottage for a week, we enjoyed the peace and quite and the cottage itself which is spacious and quaint. Our 3 year old had a lot of space to play at outside and inside. There is access to the lake but it is not a place to swim at, you can use the boat or the kayaks Roland has on site to get to the main lake. Roland was very responsive to every question we had and it was great communicating with him. The linens, the bathroom and kitchen were clean and we had all the appliances needed to prepare and have all the meals in the cottage. We had a lot of fun and will be happy to return for another week in the future.

Katarina and Lars are super nice and helpful when we needed help. The house is really beautiful and idyllic and the outdoor terrace is great to stay on. The area around the house is clean nature and super lovely. We enjoyed walking to the lake where we had the opportunity to use a rowboat.
