Waterfront vacation rentals in Ydre Municipality

After the city noise of Stockholm this little lake cabin was the most welcoming change imaginable. We were greeted with a sparkling clear Lake and great weather. I could not have imagined a more relaxed place to enjoy the holiday and my birthday. The house was outfitted with mostly everything you need, you should definitely plan your meals ahead and shop in one of the bigger stores e.g. at Linköping or Vimmerby before you arrive. There is ample fridge space to allow for that. Sandra was beyond friendly and gave us welcome tips for smaller hikes in the area.

This place is something special. The view takes your breath away. It's so beautiful with the loveliest peace and quiet. We borrowed the rowboat and sailed out on the lake, and it was wonderful. My husband and son sailed out every day and fished, and they had amazing fishing experiences where they caught pike and perch. The lake is also great to swim in! The place therefore needs to be five stars, because it's really something special. The house was nice and clean and the kitchen had what we needed. However, it is also important to know that it is an older house that is simply decorated in original style. The outside bath worked fine and the toilet was easy to use. When it rained (we had both rain and sun), my daughter missed a soft couch to relax in. Communication with Filip worked easily and he was very helpful with questions. I can definitely recommend this place if you love water, nature, beautiful views, peace and quiet and enjoy swimming and possibly fishing.

Pia is a very nice, open, helpful person. The plot is super nice and the lake has very clear water. We are already thinking about booking our next holiday there.

We had a great stay in Jacob's beautiful, clean summer house. The garden is gigantic with lots of opportunities for the children to deal with. Thank you so much. The place is perfect for families.

We stayed in the cottage for a week, we enjoyed the peace and quite and the cottage itself which is spacious and quaint. Our 3 year old had a lot of space to play at outside and inside. There is access to the lake but it is not a place to swim at, you can use the boat or the kayaks Roland has on site to get to the main lake. Roland was very responsive to every question we had and it was great communicating with him. The linens, the bathroom and kitchen were clean and we had all the appliances needed to prepare and have all the meals in the cottage. We had a lot of fun and will be happy to return for another week in the future.

The house is the ideal starting point, especially for children and lovers of the classic Småland idyll. The furnishings are also original as 100 years ago, but offers current standards. Accessible with ramp at the entrance, if registered in advance. The living room is unfortunately on the upper floor, only accessible via a steep staircase, but since there is a large kitchen and Wi-Fi we did not miss much. The lake is about 2 km away. Hilly, so for fit cyclists or e-bikes. Wheelchair users should also be electrified. Ideally suited for dogs. Impressive nature in the immediate vicinity, including a nearby national park. Astrid Lindgren Park, Katthult-Hof, Elk Safari Park and much more are easily accessible, but away from any mass tourism. Plenty of relaxing tranquility and complete freedom for children, dogs… And not unimportant: very friendly landlords who are happy to accommodate special requests. We had a great week in Tobia's house. It's a beautiful place where you can unwind. The tranquility and nature are priceless. The fish were brisk, but that didn't hurt the good mood. We can recall this home to everyone.

My stay at this cottage in Sweden was just amazing. The quiet location of the house offers the perfect recreation and relaxation away from everyday life. The house's amenities are excellent – nothing is really missing! Particularly impressive was the breathtaking view of the lake, which can be enjoyed from both the terrace and from the inside. Communication with the hosts was super nice and straightforward, they were always available and helpful. This house is an absolute insider tip for anyone who wants to spend a relaxing holiday in beautiful nature.

The house is just perfect. It is absolutely detailed and everything has been thought of. It's practical and beautiful. You're just comfortable. Everything is also available around the house. There was a lot of effort in furnishing the house and the property with attention to the details. We had a very nice first Swedish vacation.
