Kerstin's cottage in wonderful Rönnäs is really worth a visit! The proximity to nature and the clear, fine bathing water in the lake Sommen is outstanding. This wonderful cabin is very suitable for the family, hikers and people who appreciate the quiet, calm and beautiful nature in Sweden. Kerstin is a professional host and you will feel very welcome and safe in this accommodation. Thank you Kerstin for your wonderful hospitality! We will definitely be back! We were received in a very friendly manner. Away from the hustle and bustle around Astrid Lindgren, our accommodation was in the middle of a lonely area, where we could experience the real Lindgren world. The Norra Kvill Nature Park was quick to reach, as were the Lindgren sites. It was easy to relax on the verandas. We'd love to come back.

We stayed three families (6 adults and 6 kids under 4 yrs) in Emil’s classic red main farm house in Sjösbo. The house has 4 bedrooms, two on each floor, which fit us quite well. On top of the peaceful and beautiful setting, the best thing about the house was the possibility for many of us to eat either in the kitchen, living room and front porch depending on time of the day and weather. The trampoline was a big hit with the kids. The only drawbacks with the place is that it maybe a little too secluded, it is quite a drive to Vimmerby for groceries, and there is only one bathroom/WC. However, we had much less issues with the single bathroom than we feared. We visited Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Norra Kvills Nationalpark, Astrid Lindgrens Näs and Holmsjöns badplats.

We spent 2 nights at Rickard’s place. It was easy to find, super clean, it had all the listed amenities. The bathroom also has floor heating which was a very welcome surprise! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Both the bedroom and living room are super cozy and even have a small fireplace. The location is beautiful, with lots of hiking trails you can choose from, very calm and peaceful. We had a great restful vacation 😊

We had a very nice and relaxing time. The place is fantastically beautiful. You can enjoy it in any weather, as it is also super cozy inside. The highlight is the fantastic view of the lake, the nature right in front of us, the private jetty and the seclusion. You can swim, go boating, make campfires or just laze around. During our stay, there was an issue with the toilet. Lars and Katarina took care of it immediately and even offered us an alternative place to stay. The two are very friendly and helpful. We will be happy to come back.

The house is the ideal starting point, especially for children and lovers of the classic Småland idyll. The furnishings are also original as 100 years ago, but offers current standards. Accessible with ramp at the entrance, if registered in advance. The living room is unfortunately on the upper floor, only accessible via a steep staircase, but since there is a large kitchen and Wi-Fi we did not miss much. The lake is about 2 km away. Hilly, so for fit cyclists or e-bikes. Wheelchair users should also be electrified. Ideally suited for dogs. Impressive nature in the immediate vicinity, including a nearby national park. Astrid Lindgren Park, Katthult-Hof, Elk Safari Park and much more are easily accessible, but away from any mass tourism. Plenty of relaxing tranquility and complete freedom for children, dogs… And not unimportant: very friendly landlords who are happy to accommodate special requests. IMPORTANT: the address is better entered for the navigation system as follows: Ulfsgården 145 / 598 92 Vimmerby

The house is beautifully situated on a hillside away from the hustle and bustle and secluded from the nearest major town. The house is great and beautifully furnished and has everything you need. It has a huge garden and lots of toys for children. Our girls were never bored! It's a short walk down to the lake and up to the cape. Beautiful place! We enjoyed staying there very much, and with a little driving time you can make nice excursions in the area, but actually it invites you to chill and bathe there in the idyll! Highly recommended, we didn't want to leave.

A great, enchanted property on the crystal clear lake, for grooming, discovering, bathing, playing, jogging, blueberries, raspberries or cranberries collecting and baking thanks to good kitchen furnishings, for cooking and grilling (or thanks to good internet also for working or informing what is going on in the world;). For shopping you need a car or paddle by kayak to Malexander (attention opening hours of the rather small "camping" kiosk). The house (except maybe the bathroom) is spacious, you have the possibility to install mosquito screens for ventilated nights. Curtains are everywhere; the beds are cuddly, but not for those that can't with cools:). Thanks, Pia, for the great stay and also for the flexibility with the Boat - this made it possible for us to have great fishing experiences!

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole and Tobias house. It is a truly extraordinary experience to spend time in such a remote place. We could see the most beautiful starry nights and at days you could hear and see a lot of animals around the house. Nicole was quick replying, proactive and even brought us some of the eggs her hens laid and Tobias gave us a warm welcome even though we arrive pretty late at night. We had an altogether great time and would love to come back sometime.

Anneli communicated well and quickly. The flexible check-in and check-out is also practical. The house offers a good starting point for exploring in and around Vimmerby.

Our vacation at Villa Kunterbunt was just wonderful! The kids especially loved the trampoline, the tree house and the climbing wall! We felt very comfortable there. We had a very nice week in Bart's Villa Kunterbunt. Our 2-year-old son loved the garden and the play area in the attic with play kitchen and wooden train. The house is small but well suited for 3 people. There was a baby travel bed for our son, as he was still too small to sleep in the alcove. Bart was very kind and helpful, phoned us before arrival and explained everything to us. The house is a bit lonely, there are only a few neighboring houses. Nearby there is a lake with a beautiful swimming area, it is 15 minutes to Eksjö and an elk park, and about 50 minutes to Vinmerby, Katthult and Bullerbyn. We will be happy to come back!

Great house in wonderful surroundings in the middle of the forest. Wonderful for relaxing and yet you could do a lot in the area. The view from the terrace, with its great seating, was beautiful. The house is huge, plenty of space even if the main bathroom is a bit small, but everything is there, very well equipped and clean. The host always responded quickly to messages. If a pool is added at some point, it would be the perfect paradise :) but in about 15 minutes you can also reach a very nice swimming lake.

A long, softly lit living area features a sectional sofa arranged around a low table, providing ample seating. Light-colored wooden flooring is complemented by curtains that separate different spaces, and a small side table with decorative items adds to the room's functionality.

The apartment is super convenient for a small family and Jennie was so sweet to put things out for our kids. We had an easy way to find everything and the check-in worked smoothly. The apartment is nicely located and it was easy to go for a walk in Vimmerby from there or to Astrid Lindgreens World.
