Clean, fresh, and well appointed. Very nice accommodation and very flexible and accommodating host. Highly recommended.

Everything was great. We enjoyed our stay there very much, our two teenage boys included. The house was lovely and the garden was especially charming. Thanks for the good time!

We had a great week in Mary's very cozy old house. In particular, we liked the outdoor area. We were often on the boat, fishing, using the hot tub, making pizza in the outdoor oven and relaxing by the lake. The stand up paddle was also tried. A deer could even be seen in the opposite forest. Although there is no WiFi, we had internet through mobile data. The house was also a good base to follow the footsteps of Astrid Lindgren. A moose park is also nearby. Communication with Maria was very friendly and quick! We were very pleased and can recommend the house!

Maria was a wonderful host, always quick to respond and very kind and flexible. On arrival there was a fire burning in the stove and the house was warm and cozy. Maria also topped up our firewood throughout our stay. The beds we used were comfortable and it was very nice to have towels and sheets included and to not have to clean before we left. We hope to return some day in the summertime!

Zacke is a wonderful person, open, friendly and helpful. He made phone calls and would have booked tickets for us. He was happy to answer questions. The breakfast basket left nothing to be desired. Annette's tasty cake, baked by her, was delicious.

Very nice accommodation in a nice environment

Great cottage. Close to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgrens Värld, but also in a beautiful environment close to the forest. We got a lot of use of the large deck and grounds. The horses were very much appreciated by the children. Lisette had great tips on excursions and Astrid Lindgren's world. Warmly recommend!

It was a wonderful holiday in fantastic nature! The house is a 10/10! Contact with the owners was smooth. The owners have two large dogs in an outdoor area with a cabin. If they wanted to let the dogs out, they only asked us by message if it was okay with us. The dogs left us alone when they were free. That was very good as we had our own dog with us. You have a great view over the rest of the property with main building and lake on the hill on which the cottage stands. From the property, a beautiful hiking route goes through an enchanted forest with a wild river. By car, there is the highest waterfall in southern Sweden about 50 minutes away and other great hiking routes through breathtaking nature reserves with gorges and viewpoints. We felt very comfortable for three next.

Good starting point to visit all the sights around Vimmerby. Such as Astrid Lindgren Welt, Katthulthof or Bullerbü. The small cottage is located in a beautiful, quiet area 5 min walk to the lake. Hosts are very kind. We had a great stay at Charlotte's.

This place is a slice of paradise. We were immediately overwhelmed by the spirit of this place. Like in a picture book. A beautiful lake where you could swim and fish. The tranquility and the surroundings are simply fantastic. The house offers all you need for a comfortable stay. Pernilla was a super host who provided us with helpful tips and rounded off the stay at this wonderful place with a pleasant conversation at check-out. Thank you for this time. We will be back.

We stayed at Carina's house for a week over Christmas. The house is as described in the ad. Very cozily furnished. Upon arrival, there was even a Christmas tree ready to be decorated by us at will. In the fridge there were some items for breakfast. Thank you for the time. Loved it.

We spent our 3 week family vacation here and had a great and relaxing time. Everything is as described: a Swedish idyll looked after by a very nice family. The property is incredibly large and very well maintained. There was a lot to explore for the kids. They were allowed to move freely and use all the games. Only the lawnmowing robot had to be taken care of. It was permanently in operation and did not stop at any toys or items. But there was a large stop button, which the children quickly pressed when the robot came close. There are many swimming spots in the area and Tranås has a great park with a great disc golf course. Everything was easily accessible by car. We can highly recommend the accommodation!

A great, enchanted property on the crystal clear lake, for grooming, discovering, bathing, playing, jogging, blueberries, raspberries or cranberries collecting and baking thanks to good kitchen furnishings, for cooking and grilling (or thanks to good internet also for working or informing what is going on in the world;). For shopping you need a car or paddle by kayak to Malexander (attention opening hours of the rather small "camping" kiosk). The house (except maybe the bathroom) is spacious, you have the possibility to install mosquito screens for ventilated nights. Curtains are everywhere; the beds are cuddly, but not for those that can't with cools:). Thanks, Pia, for the great stay and also for the flexibility with the Boat - this made it possible for us to have great fishing experiences!

We were received in a very friendly manner. Away from the hustle and bustle around Astrid Lindgren, our accommodation was in the middle of a lonely area, where we could experience the real Lindgren world. The Norra Kvill Nature Park was quick to reach, as were the Lindgren sites. It was easy to relax on the verandas. We'd love to come back.

Pia is a very nice, open, helpful person. The plot is super nice and the lake has very clear water. We are already thinking about booking our next holiday there.

We spent one night in this nice place. The house was nicely arranged and very clean. There are nothing to complain about. We felt welcome and had a great stay!

As a family of five with a dog, we spent six days in this beautiful, exceptional accommodation and enjoyed it very much. A bouquet of fresh flowers was on the table, nature is wonderful, the lake a pleasure, the various huts very simple but cozy. It's also great that you can grab a rowing boat at any time. It was a lot of fun. Katarina and Lars were very nice, quickly accessible, and extremely helpful and committed.

We spent 2 nights at Rickard’s place. It was easy to find, super clean, it had all the listed amenities. The bathroom also has floor heating which was a very welcome surprise! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Both the bedroom and living room are super cozy and even have a small fireplace. The location is beautiful, with lots of hiking trails you can choose from, very calm and peaceful. We had a great restful vacation 😊
