Ryokan vacation rentals in Yamanashi

Tohru was such a great host. He picked us up and dropped us off at the station, which was so kind. He always had a smile on his face and was so happy to point out all the best places to visit around the lake. Bikes were free to use and a great way to easily get around the Lake. The apartment is very close to the Lake as well as a handful of restaurants and shops. Perfect location for seeing Fuji. On our last morning Tohru kindly gifted us postcards with pictures of Fuji he had taken that morning, which was so thoughtful. Such a memorable experience! Would highly recommend. 10/10

We had a wonderful time at Daichi's place. The hosts were lovely and extremely helpful. The place itself has a lot of charm and is well located 😍 Make sure to use Daichi's bikes to do a tour of the lake if you can 🚲

A rural retreat, off the tourist path, but easily accessible by train from Tokyo. We were keen for some rural Japan after quite a few stops in urban centres. The house is in a quiet, unspoilt setting. You can do short walks from the house that can include views of Mount Fuji down the valley. There's other places you can pop into too, such as the Owl Cafe or the wonderful deli/shop at the petrol station up the road. The house itself has kept its rustic and traditional appearance and features, while also having very functional equipment, from Wifi to everything you'd need for cooking. Some great places to read and relax in, from the garden to by the wood burner. We did not have car which was fine - it's just 6 minutes by taxi from the station, but a car would allow you to explore further afield. Ryo the host was very helpful with answering questions rapidly and clearly. I would highly recommend!

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Das Hostel war sehr sauber und gemütlich in japanischem Stil eingerichtet. Das Bad war sehr sauber und die Küche war sogar mit Tee und Kaffee sowie Geschirr für die Gäste ausgestattet. Wir konnten auch gut schlafen. Die Matratzen waren allerdings sehr durchgelegen und scheinbar etwas älter. Das könnte für Menschen mit Rückenschmerzen zum Problem werden. Uns hat das persönlich aber nicht gestört. Wir würden das AirBnb jederzeit wieder buchen.

Très bon séjour chez Hitomi, très accueillante. Onsen très agréable pour la fin de journée. à 20 min à pied de la gare de kawaguchico, pratique si on ne veut pas attendre pour les bus ou taxi. je recommande !

Naprosto perfektní místo, které snad nejde dostatečně pochválit. Prostředí krásné, lokalita skvělá, ubytování nádherné, personál skvělý, ochotný a radostný. Opravdu není co vytknout, můžu za celou naši skupinu jen poděkovat, pochválit a doporučit všem, kteří v tomto místě hledají jedinečné ubytování. Společná tradiční večeře v tradičním oblečení byla úžasným zážitkem! Děkujeme za výjimečný zážitek a spousty dalších pohodových hostů!

We stayed for just one night and it was perfect for what we needed. And the onsen was very nice! The breakfast was very good.

Our stay at Shogo's place was wonderful. The location and house were beautiful and a very special thanks to the kind lady who checked us in and cooked us breakfast in the mornings. Green and red bus lines were very close to the house making it a convenient location and the views of Fuji were just incredible! One of the most beautiful Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Five stars!
