A convenient guest house on Takeda Street, a 12-minute walk from Kofu Station (West)

YiuRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Takayuki-san is very warm, welcoming and helpful. We always have a little chat when we meet. He cares about how I feel about my stay and my trip in Kofu. It feels like home during my stay. The room is big and cozy. I was staying in a tatami room. It is a special experience. There are convenience shop, supermarket, restaurants within the area. A bus stop is right outside of the house. I would definitly recommand this room and other rooms hosted by Takayuki-san.

12 mins walk from station Tatami room

GudrunRating, 5 stars4 days ago
My two nights with Wakoh and her family were amazing. Check-in goes smoothly, you are completely autonomous. The location of the house is on the other side, rural and totally quiet, but you can still be in the center in 20 minutes on foot at the latest. You can get great tips from the hosts. The family is very personable and helpful, the two dogs are super nice and do not disturb at all. Wakoh Prepare a very tasty breakfast. She gives a lot of ideas and has also offered car service. The other guests were also very kind. I would come back to stay anytime.

3 minutes to the shore of Lake Sejin, 10-tatami Japanese-style room

ReneRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We loved staying at Machiko's. The room was comfortable (it gets cold in the area but there are heaters and heated blankets provided), we stayed in the room with tatami mats and futons. The bathroom is a shared one, it was clean and we didn't encounter any difficulties. We also met Shanti the resident cat, we love him! The house is near lake shoji which is absolutely gorgeous and has an incredible view of Mount Fuji on a clear day. It’s not as crowded as the other areas closer to the train station, so we didn't encounter any crowds nearby. Machiko was very friendly and helpful with her recommendations, she suggested we take a hike to a viewpoint nearby which was really nice. 100% recommend!

A truly classic Japanese breakfast and bed. C

JegatheshRating, 5 stars1 month ago
easily one of the best accommodations i’ve stayed at! wakana-san was incredibly helpful with recommendations and the food she prepared for breakfast was delicious. there is an option to have dinner here as well but only subject to availability and you would need to pay separately - it is worth the money though, very good italian food. apart from that, she borrowed me a bicycle to travel around to nearby locations and there’s also an onsen-style tub for us to use. i really appreciate the help, thank you wakana-san and everyone at otto. i’ll be back when i can!

[Morning with food] Hakone Do-no-juku "Katsura"

The food and the room were very satisfactory. It was my first time using it, but it was an explanation of the access to the inn, and the communication after I arrived was very polite and pleasant. I would like to stay again if I have a chance.
The entrance of the B&B is illuminated at night, featuring a modern facade with warm lighting. Large windows allow visibility into the lobby area, where a welcoming atmosphere is created. A pathway leads to the entrance, which is framed by neatly arranged landscaping.

Spacious room with a small Japanese-style room overlooking★ Mt. Fuji

KayrinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We enjoyed our stay at HAOSTAY for our day trip to Mt Fuji! The hotel has breathtaking views of Mt Fuji. Check was in easy and they held our luggage until our rook was ready. We love the welcome snacks and keychain welcoming us. Room was just as described and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The free breakfast was lovely and Theresa rooftop terrace to take in the views of Mt Fuji while drinking your coffee. The only complaint of our stay was the downstairs cafe was offering two dinner options, since it was raining the first night we got there, we opted in for the dinner at the hotel. The food was good but when we went to go pay, the waitress says it cash only which caught us by surprise as there was no signs or we were told this was cash only. Thankfully we had some cash but there were other patrons dining at the same time who also wasn’t aware and didn’t have cash on them which led them to walk to the nearest store in the rain to take cash out.

Julian's Pension - B&B

ThomasRating, 5 stars6 months ago
I had a wonderful time at Julian's Pension and can highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Katrina and Julian were really friendly and it was easy to communicate with them. Thanks to the advice from Katrina, I was able to experience their local Onsen, the Fujimi Panorama Resort and learned a lot of really interesting facts about the life in Japan. The private room and shared facilities were really clean and had everything I needed. Western style Breakfast and dinner was always delicous. There are still places in Fujimi I would love to visit and if it works out, I would really love to stay at this B&B again.

Retreat Resort Wild nature, private room and onsen

It was an awesome experience!Peace home is a great choice if you don't want a visitor! The house is halfway up the hill, and the next day we climbed up to see a very open view of Mt.The house is also very wonderful, very cozy, the host car pick-up and drop-off service is very thoughtful and convenient. We first came to the station to get our luggage to the homestay, let us go to Fuji in the afternoon without burden, and then agreed time to pick us up again, no need to worry about transportation! The food and hot springs are also great! The hot spring is a private soup, the appointment time to enter, and the hot water has been flowing, and the fatigue has been relieved; the breakfast and hot pot are delicious and healthy, you can see a piece of cherry blossoms in the yard when you sit in the dining room for breakfast, it is really a very relaxing enjoyment on the trip, we don't want to leave, this is the ideal retirement life.
