The view of Mt.Fuji when you get up and open the window in the morning is amazing!The surrounding tranquility is good for photos and the house is clean.But there is only one toilet downstairs and need to go downstairs to the toilet, but the impact is not much.

The outdoor area features a spacious lawn enclosed by wooden fencing. A modern two-story house with large windows is visible, surrounded by a picturesque mountainous landscape under a clear blue sky.

The place is about 20 mins walking distance, or you can take the red/purple line bus. Check in was super easy with clear instructions. The house is very new, high end finishes, very good but basic kitchen appliances. The shower is very small as described but it will for most people... I'm 6'1" athletic build and had no issues. Washer dryer is combined but not that drying takes a very long time. That's the downside of combined washer dryers. But it is still better than no dryer, which is write common in Japan Only downside is if you need a taxi pick up. Unless you can speak Japanese, we couldn't, you are likely to have a hard time getting a taxi to come for pick up. If timing works out the bus stop is 2 mins away. We had to walk with our luggage to the station (early morning time), which as I said is very walkable and there are many that do overall very pleasant stay and super responsive host

What a wonderful location and very spacious home. Fuji cross gate was able to accommodate our family of 9. We loved watching the sunrise and seeing Mt. Fuji from the rooftop balcony. Other than the stairs to get into the home, it was an overall great experience! We wished we had more time there. The complimentary water and pastry was a nice touch and helped after a long day of traveling.

It's really a surprise!This is the best homestay I have ever😭 stayed in Japan. Although it's a bit tiring to climb up the hill, everything is worth it after entering the villa. The host prepared a lot of beautiful supplies, as well as a lot of ingredients and gifts. All the details are perfect.The private bath is much bigger than it looks in the photos, you don't even have to go out, and it's a lot more cost-effective than a hot spring hotel that costs thousands.The host is also very friendly and communicative.You will fall in love with Hakone because of a homestay, and the conclusion is: I will come back next time!

大 was extremely hilarious, a really funny guy. He picked us up at Kawaguchiko station and drove us to our accoms. The accoms was really cozy, just a walk out from the accoms, you’ll be able to see Mt. Fuji (on a good weather day). Love the free use of bicycle - we literally travelled around via bike only. 大 also recommended food around the area to us. He was always very responsive to all our queries during our stay. I highly recommend this accoms! : )

The kind and polite responses to my questions before my stay were very helpful! I had a great time with the beer server, bath, and barbecue! I was impressed by the beautiful mountains and wisteria trellises seen from the window on the second floor. There was also a barbecue set and a tarp tent, so it was very easy to use. The dishwasher and kotatsu were also convenient (^ ^) The room was also very clean, and it was nice to have a kettle, a dryer, a children's step stool, and other things that would be nice to have. I'd love to stay again. Thank you so much!

It was a spacious, clean and comfortable guest house.From the veranda, you can see the mountains, and I think you can spend a vacation while feeling the nature.However, if you have a barbecue, there is no supermarket nearby, and the butcher at Hakone Yumoto Station closes at 14: 00, so I think you need to prepare enough in advance.

We’re so glad we chose this place as our last stop in Japan. The hospitality was second to none, we immediately felt at home. The beautiful and peaceful surroundings were exactly what we needed after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo nights! Our 8 yearold son had a blast riding the provided bikes to the nearby lake to see Mt. Fuji as clear as day, definitely worth the 6 a.m. alarm! Special thanks to Allen and his team. Jerry is one of the friendliest people we’ve met in Japan. We’ll 100% stay at your place again in the future. Keep up the great work and the high standard of Japanese hospitality. Arigatou gozaimasu!

I love every bit of David’s place. It is located in the peaceful neighbourhood of Joēi, which you can see Mt. Fuji on a clear day. The house is spacious and has everything I need to stay comfortably for a month. There are big supermarket and drug store within walking distance, and with the bike David provided, you can go to a large shopping mall and pretty much all living necessities within 15 min. David and his wife Naomi are extremely friendly and helpful. Recommended me good restaurants and also useful tips to get around. I enjoyed my stay here very much. I highly recommend this place to other travellers when you want to escape the crowd and experience Japanese rural lifestyle.

The place was in a convenient location and was close by the grocery. Space was very minimalist and has a staircase access going to the second floor. We were 5 adults, 2 kids and an infant and we booked last minute so the amenities prepared were for 4 that time. It was hard to manage the heater since the breaker would get tripped when we had to run the heater on all the rooms and was told to run the heater one at a time. During this time , it was an unusually cold winter and it was hard to manage with all the kids freezing. I suggest to bundle up or bring some hand warmers.

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful kawaguchiko apartment. Place was exactly as described and in prestige condition. Close to all Mt. Fuji hot spots and a feel safe neighborhood. Definitely would stay again and recommend to family and friends.

The room was clean, spacious and we had a pleasant time.The high ceiling and loft were just right for a family to spend time together.It was also within walking distance of the bus stop and nearby hot springs.I will stay there again if I get the chance.

A wonderful place to stay after a long day soaring over Hakone, a short uphill walk from the stations. Lots of amenities, great hospitality, definitely gonna recommend this place to anyone that has a plan to go around the area.

Excellent cabin for big group stays. Many toilets, showers and bath facilities. Well appointed kitchen and home. Big space with many areas to sit, lounge and hang out. Super helpful host - she came when we were leaving and saw us stuck in the snow and she helped shovel and together with the snow plough team, helped to get us go on our way. Thank you so much!

Kim was super friendly. Her place was great - my 2.5 year old really enjoyed the place and was upset we had to leave. The onsen and sauna was great as well. We had dinner at the restaurant one night which was very yummy as well. Overall a great stay at fuji area.

Wonderful place. Very cleanse and updated. Even had heaters in the room as very cold. We would stay there again. Only niggle was requesting for a later check out by one hour but we understand it could not be done. Thank you for a great stay!

Schoko's apartment is very well suited for families with 2 or more children. A total of 6 people can stay at the apartment. Schoko is an extremely friendly hostess and has made a lot of effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The apartment is very well equipped with a lot of love for details. We particularly liked the bed linen and the very nice bed in the bedroom.

Beautiful space just as advertised. Very good heating and amenities. We found the location convenient for a family with young children with a rental car- easy to get to various places in Odawara, lake Ashi, ropeway and the open air museum. Rei was very responsive, checked in on us and assisted where we needed promptly. Hope we get to stay again!
