You won’t find a better place to stay at in Kawaguchiko. Dai was super helpful and check in was very easy. Great location and the booking included the use of their bikes so getting around was simple. My only regret is that I didn’t stay long enough. 10/10 would stay again!

As other people have reviewed, the owner handled the check-in in person and explained the interior in a very easy-to-understand way, so I was able to use it with peace of mind. I had a very relaxing day in a very quiet location, close to the highway interchange, station, supermarket, convenience store, etc. I will stay again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

Our group of six really enjoyed our stay at Junko's place. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, spacious, and has all the amenities you might need. The futons are thick, firm, and comfortable (no back pain at all), and we all slept well. The dining area is also a great spot to hang out and chat. There’s a lovely local bakery about 10 minutes away on foot that opens early and has delicious pastries. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend Junko’s place to anyone visiting Kofu.

Takashi-san’s home was absolutely gorgeous and fit our group of 4 wonderfully. He was extremely accommodating, bringing a van to both pick us up from the station upon our arrival and drop us off at the station upon our departure. He was always readily responsive to my questions and had recommendations at the ready when asked. The area was quiet and the locals were kind despite us being foreigners. There was a nice walking path by the river nearby from which Mt Fuji can be viewed when it’s not cloudy. The two bikes provided came in handy often. There was even a wonderful little laundromat within walking distance. In the end Takashi-san provided us each with gifts: his handmade petal jelly and hand folded origami of Mt Fuji. This was a fantastic stay with a gorgeous traditional house full of basic amenities and more. I will be dreaming of sleeping on the futon with fluffy pillows and a giant fluffy duvet by the open back door when I return to my own home. ❤️
