Surrounded by plaster walls made of natural materials, guests will have a rich time. The bath is of course a hot spring. We use Hakone's precious hot spring water that is good for the skin. Please enjoy it carefully as it is not a circulating system and there are limits. The sauna room accommodates up to 6 people. Completely private, using Hakone cypress. You can fully enjoy the low-temperature sauna and sauna bed. Relax in the outdoor terrace or in the Totono room, which doubles as a beauty room. The bedroom is designed to be simple for a deeper sleep. 　Transportation access is very good. 5-minute walk from Togendai. There is a direct bus between Haneda, Yokohama, and Shinjuku. Odawara Station is the first and last stop for the bus. It is also the first and last stop of the Lake Ashinoko sightseeing boat and the Owakudani-Gora Ropeway.　Kojiri Port is right in front of you. 　Have a great stay

Enjoy with all 5 senses! Country Stay Kuu House.

Hi! Nice to meet you. We are miki and Keita from Kuu House! We opened our country stay bed and breakfast with our mom, Yuko. She calls herself “the mountain witch of chikahagi.” Mom has been renovating this 150 year old minka (Japanese house) for the last 30 years. So many local people love this place. It took us another year to open it as bed and breakfast. We will welcome you like you are part of our family from the bottom of our heart.

The house is about 100 meters from Fujisan Station, the road is very walkable, and there is no problem with the suitcase.Enter the hotel's secret door according to the host's instructions.We can drop off our luggage early and check in at 3pm sharp.The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.The bunk bed is on the left, and the single bed is on the right.The bathroom, toilet and sink in the hallway are all very clean.We stayed for four days, there was free homemade bread in the morning, it was delicious, coffee, kettle, utensils, etc., you can make your own breakfast, cooking oil and seasonings were provided, very convenient!There is also a real-time surveillance video of the photo-taking spot in Arakurayama Sengen Park in the lobby, which is super awesome👍.The hotel is 2.3 km from the park, easily accessible on foot, and bicycles are available for a fee.Recommended for friends coming to Mt. Fuji!

Our stay went differently than expected, because we unexpectedly did not have a rental car and therefore had to do everything with public transport. It is much quieter here than, for example, Lake Kawakuchigo (we thought that was a plus!), but the bus is therefore also less frequent. Yuki and her husband have made every effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible and picked us up several times from the bus or to a restaurant by the lake. Yuki also thought with us how we could come to our next stay and had recommendations for activities nearby. Mount Fuji watching at sunrise from the observation platform nearby was beautiful. We even saw deer walking on the road there. Breakfast was delicious and could be adapted to dietary requirements. As far as we are concerned, highly recommended as a stay near Mount Fuji! 🗻🌅

You are free to check in time. The host is very friendly. The feeling of a traditional Japanese house was well equipped, and the surroundings were quiet and peaceful, so I was able to relax completely. Tidy and clean bathroom didn't want to leave. It was a place I wanted to stay again next time.

We had such a wonderful stay and wanted to share how much we appreciated everything. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. After a full day of adventuring in the snowy Hakone weather, the onsen facilities were an absolute highlight - so relaxing and beautifully maintained. It was the perfect way to warm up and unwind. Thank you for creating such a peaceful and accommodating atmosphere. We would love to return again in the future!
