A room where you can feel Fuji beautiful , close!!

NilsRating, 5 stars5 days ago
A beautiful tatami space overlooking Mount Fuji in a beautiful house. We were warmly welcomed and picked up and had a great time. There were bicycles available for us to surround the lake for free. In addition, the host drove us to the train station on the day of departure so we didn't have to move our suitcases that far. An incredibly beautiful experience that I can only recommend to everyone. I would be happy to come back. 😊🗻
An open-plan living area showcases exposed wooden beams and a tiled floor. A spacious dining table occupies the center, surrounded by colorful chairs. Natural light floods through large windows, framing views of the surrounding countryside and creating a bright and airy environment.

Modern Japanese Farmhouse Experience

AdamRating, 5 stars6 months ago
A rural retreat, off the tourist path, but easily accessible by train from Tokyo. We were keen for some rural Japan after quite a few stops in urban centres. The house is in a quiet, unspoilt setting. You can do short walks from the house that can include views of Mount Fuji down the valley. There's other places you can pop into too, such as the Owl Cafe or the wonderful deli/shop at the petrol station up the road. The house itself has kept its rustic and traditional appearance and features, while also having very functional equipment, from Wifi to everything you'd need for cooking. Some great places to read and relax in, from the garden to by the wood burner. We did not have car which was fine - it's just 6 minutes by taxi from the station, but a car would allow you to explore further afield. Ryo the host was very helpful with answering questions rapidly and clearly. I would highly recommend!

MY favorite room is the view of Fuji and sukura

MoritzRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Tohru and his wife were great hosts. They picked us up from the train station on arrival and drove us back for departure. The accommodation was exactly as described. We had a wonderful view on Mt. Fuji from our room. Everything was clean and tidy. Tohru and his wife gave us some recommendations what we can do in Kawaguchiko and when we left he gave us some postcards of pictures from Mt. Fuji that he took in this morning. We can recommend this accommodation to everyone, that wants to stay in Kawaguchiko.

SARUYA - Twin Room #8 in Modern Traditional Hostel

MelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful, rustic hostel with so much charm! I’ve never stayed at a place like this but it felt cozy like home. I loved that the bathroom and toilets are still totally modern while still maintaining the rustic feel. For anyone who wants to stay at a unique place but still be walking distance to Chureito Pagoda for the iconic view of Mount Fuji, I would highly recommend this place.

Mt.fuji view corner room ! ! (private & quiet)

KyraRating, 5 stars2 days ago
I have so many words to say about this place, but first and foremost, Tohru, his wife and his parents were extremely nice! I had run into his parents while returning the bike that was offered to me during the stay, and they both said hi, and good morning to me! His wife said hi every day to me, and was so hospitable! And Tohru himself offered rides to and from the station nearby, shared his love of photography with me, AND gave me a map of everything nearby to look at. I told him I was going to Shinjuku, and that I loved matcha and he gave me a recommendation for the best matcha ice cream in Shinjuku! His family and himself are genuine, kind and excited to engage with all guests! The place itself is so clean, smells great, and the view on the balcony and in your room of Mt. Fuji is breathtaking. They even offer utensils, towels, toothbrushes/toothpaste for your stay even though I was staying in a room with a public bathroom! The bathroom was very clean too! I’ll definitely be back!

Our stay at Shogo's place was wonderful. The location and house were beautiful and a very special thanks to the kind lady who checked us in and cooked us breakfast in the mornings. Green and red bus lines were very close to the house making it a convenient location and the views of Fuji were just incredible! One of the most beautiful Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Five stars!
