The interior was quite wide and open, and the river was right in front of us, so the view was also good and very good. The barrel sauna was also firmly hot, so I enjoyed it. From previous inquiries to checkout, the host was very responsive and smooth. I'd love to stay again. Thank you very much.

Our family of 8 spent a very unforgettable day in this very Japanese and innovative house... we were deeply attracted to the house as soon as we entered... we arrived a little late... but the owner still received us very warmly... and reminded us to be careful on the way... because it snowed at Yamanakako that day... our family's first experience with snow was here... we were really mesmerized by the beautiful snowy scenery... although we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, we still got a veryBeautiful snowy scenery... all the internet-famous check-in spots near Lake Yamanakako are very close... but this time we didn't have the chance to see the beautiful Mt. Fuji... I hope to have the chance to come to this house again in the future... and then enjoy the different scenery of Mt. Fuji... I highly recommend everyone to stay in this cozy and comfortable homestay... there will be a next time only if there is regret...

Hi there, Thank you for hosting me in your lovely log house the other day. We had a very pleasant stay without any worries thanks to the polite service we received from before our stay to during our stay. Coffee time on the large wooden deck while listening to the birds chirp, It was a wonderful time that I couldn't easily experience. The room was very tidy, the facilities were easy to use, and we had a comfortable time. We'd love to stay again. Thank you very much!

We’re so glad we chose this place as our last stop in Japan. The hospitality was second to none, we immediately felt at home. The beautiful and peaceful surroundings were exactly what we needed after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo nights! Our 8 yearold son had a blast riding the provided bikes to the nearby lake to see Mt. Fuji as clear as day, definitely worth the 6 a.m. alarm! Special thanks to Allen and his team. Jerry is one of the friendliest people we’ve met in Japan. Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay! We were lucky enough to enjoy a wonderful view of Mount Fuji on both days through the living room window and slept really good on both, beds and futons. 👍 It was really nice that there were two bathrooms (one with a shower one without) available, definitely a plus for a larger group as ours. Communication through Airbnb was easy and really nice. Thanks to the team for making our stay so great and effortless.

Wonderful place. Very cleanse and updated. Even had heaters in the room as very cold. We would stay there again. Only niggle was requesting for a later check out by one hour but we understand it could not be done. Thank you for a great stay!

The place is about 20 mins walking distance, or you can take the red/purple line bus. Check in was super easy with clear instructions. The house is very new, high end finishes, very good but basic kitchen appliances. The shower is very small as described but it will for most people... I'm 6'1" athletic build and had no issues. Washer dryer is combined but not that drying takes a very long time. That's the downside of combined washer dryers. But it is still better than no dryer, which is write common in Japan Only downside is if you need a taxi pick up. Unless you can speak Japanese, we couldn't, you are likely to have a hard time getting a taxi to come for pick up. If timing works out the bus stop is 2 mins away. We had to walk with our luggage to the station (early morning time), which as I said is very walkable and there are many that do overall very pleasant stay and super responsive host

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful kawaguchiko apartment. Place was exactly as described and in prestige condition. Close to all Mt. Fuji hot spots and a feel safe neighborhood. Definitely would stay again and recommend to family and friends.

What a wonderful location and very spacious home. Fuji cross gate was able to accommodate our family of 9. We loved watching the sunrise and seeing Mt. Fuji from the rooftop balcony. Other than the stairs to get into the home, it was an overall great experience! We wished we had more time there. The complimentary water and pastry was a nice touch and helped after a long day of traveling.
