Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Wolfenschiessen

The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

It was our first family trip to Switzerland and Sabrina’s place was in the perfect spot to see so many different sights. We had a very busy week and everything was within an easy drive. It is located in a quiet residential area with amazing views towards Jungfrau. The house itself is well laid out and has plenty of space. We found it very comfortable. It was a nice surprise to find all the main UK channels were available on the TV to watch in the evening. We have a lot more to see in Switzerland so we will definitely return to Sabrina’s place.

Christine's apartment was fabulous, modern, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, cosy and had comfortable beds. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend it. Just be aware though if you are booking this 6 bed apartment for only 3 or 4 people as we had an issue. We were a party of 2 mothers (in 60's) & 2 sons (in 20's). We were pleased to find this apartment as it had 3 rooms so the mothers could have a room each and sons share twin room. However when we arrived the twin room was locked and unavailable & 2 rooms did not match the listing showing 3. We were very disappointed. Christine did respond quickly and rectified the situation but pointed out she she had provided 4 beds. One mother is an Airbnb host and didn't feel she was very apologetic for the disappointment we had felt. She would have been far more apologetic. However she did not charge us for use of laundry to compensate. we can still thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment.

We liked the place VERY MUCH. Totally stylish and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed. For our children, there were also many ways to linger through the cool rooms, furniture, the swing on the upper floor, the playroom in the attic and the great toys we found in a closet. Only the steep staircase to the upper floor is not so suitable for very small children, as they need companions (open and without railings). The beds were super fresh and very comfortable. The kitchen was tiptop equipped. We felt immediately comfortable, the children were also very enthusiastic. The house is lovingly decorated. Really great. The contact with the hostess was super nice and quick. She always responded within a short time. We came by public transport, so you just have to factor in some time because the nearest bus stop is about 25 minutes away. But that worked. Nice and quiet area, with possibility to go into the forest.

We were there in October with small children. The accommodation offers everything it needs and is very warmly furnished, with a lot of attention to detail. Right on the first day, Alessandra's father came by with a welcome gift. He was very warm and helpful. The large garden with the fireplace and a breathtaking view was the highlight. The kitchen is very well equipped. We cooked delicious dishes every day. There are a lot of toys in the house, for children of all ages. The village is very and authentic. We were able to see various wildlife in the area. A beautiful valley that has something mystical about it at this time of year. The steep slopes with countless waterfalls, the colored leaves and the morning bubble rising out of the woods. Scenic villages on the southern slopes. Perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle. The location is ideal, conveniently close to Zürich's main station and the bus stop, making it easy to embark on trips. It's also within walking distance of tram stations and surrounded by excellent restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment itself was spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable. The hosts were supportive as well. All in all good experience.

Simone was very helpful through messages, she always responded quickly and kindly. She was able to answer my questions accurately. But I didn't get a chance to meet you. Apartment as described, a little expensive for one person, but on average with prices in the area.

The apartment is in a great location. Right in front of the bus that leads to the ski resort. In addition, it is very cozy, perfectly equipped and just right for us. Nicole is friendly and communication went perfectly. Looking forward to next time!

Julien's apartment was exactly as expected with such beautiful views of the mountains as a bonus. Communication from Julien was super effective. Our stay was in winter but I would recommend all year round.

Janine’s place was very conveniently located as less than 5 mins walk from Interlaken West train station. Also has two big stores like Migros and Aldi within walking distance. It was a very peaceful and private place. The view from the balcony was the best feature of the house.

The accommodation was very nice. The comfortable sofa, the bathroom clean and with a good shower, the comfortable litter. Great to spend a few days!

Had a great stay, was easy to find and check in. For us the location was perfect, with an amazing view. For us as hikers we loved the area.

Impeccable rental, adorable and very welcoming hosts, flexible both at check-in and checkout, very beautiful region with lots of things to do, I highly recommend it!

We stayed at Diana's place as a 3 person family. It was so comfortable that we felt like we are at home :) Coffee machine and the kitchen were life-savers and thanks to Diana's informations we found the place so easy. If you'd like to have Bernina Express experience, the place is 10 mins to Chur HB with a bus and 100 mt to bus stop. Next time I prefer to rent a car. If you want to feel like you are at your own home, you can choose Diana's place and enjoy the coziness. Thanks for everything Diana. Tuğba and her family

Lauren was a great host and communicated quickly and well. The chalet was perfect for the 6 of us - 2 adults, 4 teenagers - for a three day skiing trip. Close to Ski Terminal serving greater Jungfrau Ski area, and close to centre of town for restaurants and bars and shops. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to cook when required. In summary, it was the perfect ski chalet base, and we will certainly use again. Thank you Mark and Family

The stay at Patrizia's apartment was excellent. Especially the communication, the tidy impeccable apartment as well as the two large and cozy balconies were great. The somewhat outdated coffee machine may no longer meet today's needs. However, I was amazed at how good the coffee tasted and this without capsules. We'd love to be back in Patrizia's apartment.

Andreas is extremely friendly and strives to ensure that nothing stands in the way of a great stay. Everything is well organized, even with a Welcom gift. Laax with its unique mountains and nature is a dream. If Peter plays along and you can stay in a feel-good oasis, the happiness is just perfect! The apartment is lovingly furnished down to the last detail; which really leaves nothing to be desired. The apartment is clean, it has plenty of space and uniquely comfortable beds. The apartment has a very spacious layout and there is plenty of storage space for clothes, shoes, etc. In the kitchen you will find everything you need (lots of pans, dishes, glasses, cutlery, oil, vinegar, spices, etc.) Our children totally loved the huge range of toys. It is not self-evident to provide such a large offer. The bus stop as well as the cable car can be reached on foot in a short time. We will be happy to come back!
