The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

Staying with Barbora in the Alpine view in Walenstadtberg was simply amazing! The pictures of the accommodation speak for themselves: fantastically located in the mountains. Around meadow and hiking trails. It's also an experience for the dog. Barbora is super nice, always available and really takes care of her guests with all their heart. In an emergency, she didn't hesitate to drive to the gas station to get me something – that was real help in a difficult situation. Such hospitality is not self-evident! I highly recommend staying with her. Thank you Barbora!

Beautiful, 300-year-old house. Very cozy. Fantastic surroundings, away from tourist crowds. Extremely friendly hostess, always helpful, always available. Delicious, homemade bread from the hostess. Perfect place for a vacation with peace, mountains in original surroundings. Highly recommend.

A very lovely home and Enrico is a consummate host. Pictures don’t do this cozy spot justice. We really enjoyed our time here. The old wood stove offers a delightful aroma that fills the whole place and the village feels like stepping back in time. Kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. Our host helped us test the wifi speed in advance for our remote work trip and graciously left us a bottle of wine. The stairs are steep and not kid-friendly. We found them a bit tricky and you do have to traverse them like ladders to use the toilet. While reading reviews, we noticed comments about black mould in the shower and do encourage the host to take care of this. It doesn’t appear to be anything that some bleach and elbow grease can’t fix and there is a window in the shower, so it is well ventilation. We also note that the mattress upstairs is nice and firm, but sags in the middle, which was fine for our length of stay. We enjoyed our time and hope to be back again soon!

We have had a memorable time at Maja's house. There are 11 people in our group. Our children loved this house a lot. It was the first time they saw snow falling down from the sky, they were so excited. However, we had an unexpected heavy snow on the second day of our stay. The next day, I think we have about 1 m thick snow. The road to the village was closed. There was no electricity for the whole village. We have got the news and helpful instruction from our host from time to time. We really appriciate their help. We booked Maja's place for 2 nights but we could not get out from the village due to the thick snow. Maja let us stay at her place for some more nights free of charge until the road open and we can drive out from the village. Our children were still having good time with snow. Above all, we feel save and sound staying in this house and village. The neigbour is very nice. We met many people in the village , they are so friendly to us. Thank you very much for everything.

Very nice and cozy apartment above a beautiful alpine lake. We quickly felt like home. Having dinner with a stunning view across the lake was really great. Thanks a lot!

We stayed at Rachel’s for a week, location was perfect. Peaceful and very picturesque. We didn’t want to stay in the centre of town. This was a perfect location to visit places such as Grindlewald, Interlaken… we visited loads more.. the house is very clean. Beautiful home and was very nice to come back to after some long hikes.

we felt very comfortable in this rustic old house. Since it was fresh, we especially enjoyed the beautiful large and living room with book walls and cozy sofas. It was also great that you can make a fire on the lower floor in the oven. Have fried Maroni by the fire. We also really like the wild nature of the valley. So we could see a deer from the bedroom and say many fire salamanders. Everything to our taste 😊

Oliver's apartment is highly recommended! We felt very comfortable😊. Location The location is great! Skiing: the bus stops at the front door and takes 1 minute to the cable cars in Flims. In the afternoon you can still sunbathe on the balcony. 🌞 Facilities Especially the kitchen is really well furnished. No cheap materials have been used. Top appliances, great finishes and comfortable furniture in the apartment. You can see small signs of wear every now and then, but totally ok and so it's much more sustainable💯. The children's room was smaller than expected, but still totally cosy. Additional 🧖🏼‍♀️ The swimming pool and sauna are right in the annex. The use is - once you understand it (everything is explained and the residents of Casa Caglims are super nice and helpful) - pleasant and soothing. You'll also have the sauna to yourself. Wonderful wonderful wonderful - really a magical out of this world place!!! The views were from a fantasy book. The chalet was perfect, we enjoyed tremendously!!!!!

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

We spent 3 days on New Year's Eve 2025. Three families with kids. We had a great time. Lara welcomed us warmly at check-in and gave us all the directions to better manage the house, including a stove, jacuzzi and Finnish tub. Clean and complete environments. Super equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Spotless and comfortable rooms. Various children's games and books for moments of relaxation; availability of Sky, Netflix and Disney+. Wood and barbecue available. Priceless view of Lake Como from one side and the mountain on the other side. Great location: quite isolated to be quiet and not to bother anyone but still 5 minutes from the center of the village; less than 10 minutes away we found a very well-stocked shopping center. Really great and recommended experience, to try again in summer with the possibility of also using the outdoor pool. GREAT

One of the best Airbnb stays in a long time – the two of us were there for a week. Spacious place, very chic and stylishly furnished, and of course the hot tub on the very large roof terrace is a highlight - or just spend the evening in front of the cozy fireplace. In direct walking distance, everything is available (shops, restaurants, etc.) Overall highly recommended!

Apartment was very good,very clean and warm like at home. The ownes very friendly,they give as something from the farm for free and they respond you for everything. I have it a bad luck because was raining every day but still the place was beautiful. I recommend it.

We were looking for something quiet and found it in this nice apartment. It is cozy and you can enjoy a great view towards Engstligenalp and Lohner. The walking distance to the village is absolutely feasible. We felt right at home. In summer, the terrace with the pool is certainly a hit.

It was a lovely family Christmas! The apartment was very spacious and very clean. The panorama from the living room to the lake and the mountains is amazing. The owner is very responsive, always responding quickly to messages. And an important moment for us - our youngest daughter forgot her phone in the apartment, and we discovered the loss only a few days later. The owner resolved this issue very quickly, the phone was even charged so that we could see its location. We are definitely ready to return here, with pleasure!

It is a very nice airbnb, we were 5 people, and the accommodation is well prepared, it is spacious, beautiful and modern, the communication with the host very well, very simple and very comfortable, I recommend this place for 6 people since the beds are comfortable! I would definitely go back to this place!

Very nice, older house, quietly located. Everything you need, well-equipped and clean kitchen. Huge garden with various sun loungers, hammocks, toys for children, barbecue and pizza oven and a beautiful view. The pizzas from the pizza oven in the garden tasted delicious. The communication with the host worked flawlessly, we always got a quick response to questions. We felt very comfortable.

Maya's house is rustic, very quiet and well-equipped. The bathroom and kitchen are well equipped, large shower with plenty of water pressure. The beds are large and comfortable. The house sits on the edge of a mountain village and - which is especially pleasant in nice weather - lots of sunlight throughout the day! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very pleasant stay in a beautiful valley. The Mont-Noble ski resort in Nax was a nice discovery, and despite the bad weather we enjoyed it. Our little cat Thila was able to accompany us which makes life easier! The cottage is very comfortable, well heated, nicely decorated while remaining simple. There are shops nearby and you can take walks directly from the cottage. Martine was a perfect host, always available to answer our questions and attentive to our comfort. This is a place we could come back to, in both winter and summer.

We had a very nice stay with Amanda and Will. Their place is an easy walk to the Lindt factory and the lake is very close. We were travelling with a young child and the washer and dryer and ability to cook were a huge plus. Public transit by bus or boat are a few minutes away on foot. A great place and a great neighborhood.

A nice little house directly on the lake. Pure relaxation with sauna and enough space for four to sit on the sofa. You are quickly in the city or in the mountains and various shopping facilities are available nearby. Lovingly decorated and cozy. Very nice contact and impeccable communication.
