Home was clean, comfortable and during a weekend heat wave, nice and cool. Easy communication and checkin. Would book again.

Our stay at Angels Hill was great! The perfect place to unplug and relax as a family. We have young kids (1 and 3.5) and it was perfect for them! Lots of space to play outside, the shaded deck was perfect for the 1 year old, and lots of kid necessities included (high chair seat, pack and play, plastic plates, etc). We loved adventuring around to hike and play in creeks in the area. We plan to come back!

This was an amazing place! Very huge, comfortable and amazing game room! Definitely would stay again! Definitely worth it.

We booked last minute, at the beginning we thought that the price was high and we did not have a choice but the place is amazing, nice and clean. Most important thing was that the house is plenty clean and fully of everything you need and what you expect to have . I highly recommend and I will definitely come back. Only thing i was expecting is a BBQ but not a big deal, i bring my own. By the way, great view .

Quito was great with communication and was quick to respond. Helpful and easy going. House was clean, comfortable and felt like home. Though there is nothing walking distance from the house, but the local attractions are just few minute drives away.

We had a fun stay at Jake’s place. Cozy, clean home with a well stocked kitchen. Prime location to Kernville and beautiful view of the mountains. We felt right at home.

This wonderful home was carefully crafted for luxe comfort and entertaining. The perfect setting for our family gathering, the house boasts a well-stocked gourmet kitchen, beautiful center courtyard with fire table, gas grill, and propane heater, massive common spaces with soaring ceilings, excellent wood-burning fireplace and expansive mountain views. We loved the large, spotless hot tub, terrific game room and cozy home theater. This home is unusually well-appointed, clearly designed and decorated with great care and attention to detail. Towel warmers, excellent beds, an adorable popcorn machine in the game room, I could go on and on. We didn’t want to leave the house, despite the spectacular surroundings. Our host was very responsive and welcoming. We’d love to return to this spacious, thoughtfully crafted home.

The pristine pool table-swimming pool combo was brilliant, a perfect venue for our three-generation holiday. Memorial Day weekend and the throngs of families out to enjoy themselves along the Kern River and Sequoia NF were an expected part of the bustle, and local services with super-cheerful staff were up to it. We had fun everyday and especially appreciated being able to retreat to our private oasis. Nice be

We visit Kernville one to two times a a year. This was my favorite place so far out of the places my family and I have stayed. We have a family of 5 (3 kids) and they absolutely had a blast, plenty of games and activities for them to do at the house including swimming. We also had some friends and family visit us and the place was great for entertaining guests. I highly recommend staying here the host is very responsive and friendly. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

Pete was such an incredible host! My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be coming back. It is so peaceful and so quiet. We saw a few deer and lots of little animals in the surrounding area. The trees are beautiful and the air is so fresh and crisp. There’s so much to do in the house with dozens of board games, a bunch of movies and shows on dvd, a gaming console, fire place was so cozy, the hot tub was easy to work and was a great way to wind down our day! Definitely take advantage of the local sites like Trail of 100 Giants. The local market is adorable and everyone is so friendly. Looking forward to staying again soon!

Kimberley & Ed's place is secluded and peaceful. We enjoyed the deck with lake view tremendously. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make dinner after a tired day of Kern River rafting. Our family had a great time with family game in the living room. We would definitely recommend Kim & Ed's place and would love to come back when we are in the area.

Wonderful home that was perfect for our family. Had everything we needed and wanted to make lifelong memories. The only regret was wishing we had more time! We were not even down the road when the kids were asking when we could return.

If you want to stay in the peace and quiet of beautiful nature, but you don’t want to sacrifice your personal comfort, this is a great option for you! Really enjoyed our stay! This is our second time staying in the home and we truly enjoy how close it is to restaurants and shops. The best part is that you can hear the river as soon as you step out the front door. Literally reach the river in a couple of steps, and deer even roam the street. Travis and Trishia provided clear chech-in and check- out instructions, sent messages making sure we were doing well after our first night, and gave me recommendations for a great river spot when I asked. The home is clean, kitchen has everything you need, backyard is great for relaxing by the fire pit and enjoying some smores. Highly recommend staying here!

Wish we had been able to stay here longer! We found this gem as we were looking for a pit stop on our road trip. The instructions are so clear, that even in the pitch black of 11pm, we had no problem finding this home. Waking up to the beautiful landscape in the morning was a pleasant surprise and had us wishing we could have enjoyed this home longer. Thanks for being a great pit stop and host!

Loved staying here for the week! The cabin was very cute and had everything I needed plus a stocked kurig and a lovely hot chocolate station, which was such a nice touch. It was very clean and cozy and I would love to stay again when I am back in the area. Very close to town but was nice to be out along the kern river.

We had an amazing 3-day stay at this beautiful house! My boyfriend and I chose it for a little getaway, and it ended up being even better than we expected. The best part? It’s right on the river – the views are absolutely insane. We spent most of our time outside just soaking it all in. The private beach area is such a cute and peaceful spot, perfect for relaxing, reading, or just enjoying nature. Our dog had the time of his life playing by the water, and we really appreciated how dog-friendly and accommodating the hosts were. Inside, everything was well-equipped and thoughtfully set up. The bed was super comfy, but honestly, with a spot like this, we hardly stayed indoors. It was the perfect balance of comfort and outdoor adventure. Highly recommend – we’re already thinking about when we can come back!

We had a nice 2-night stay. Beds were comfortable. Showers worked well. Kitchen well stocked. We bought all groceries we would need in Bakersfield. There is a small grocery/restaurant very close, but we didn't go in. It's a nice 45 minute drive to the closest site in Sequoia: Trail of 100 Giants. The only issue (and it is general to the area and not specific to this cabin) is that there is no cell service in the area. Coming from the west, we lost it about Ducor, and didn't regain it until we returned to that point. Just be aware in case you need to communicate with anyone by means other than through WiFi at the cabin (which worked fine). The specific issue I had was that text-based or cell-call two-factor authentication is not possible.
