The apartment was perfect for us as a group of 7 friends for a relaxing weekend. The apartment was very clean, well equipped and in great condition. It is wonderfully quiet and you are quickly on the canal for nice walks. Martina answered our questions quickly, we highly recommend the apartment!

We felt very comfortable in the small apartment in a very quiet location of a residential area. The small forest nearby was very good for walking the dog. The parking spot was right in front of the house. Communication with Florian worked out very well and all questions were answered quickly. What was partially missing in the apartment was immediately provided to us with explanation and apology. That was very pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and the couch cozy. We slept excellently. The kitchen had everything we needed. Shopping was a 3-minute drive away. The small garden with terrace is perfect for stepping outside in the morning. In summer, I imagine that to be very pleasant. We were very happy with the place.

This was a perfect place to stay for our family with 3 children. The private (massive) garden was exactly what we needed to ensure our kids could still play without having to be too quiet, such as it is in most apartments. There were plenty of toys and a playground as a bonus. The host was wonderful and friendly, always checking on our needs and responding to our requests. One minor issue is that the kitchen doesn't have hot water so you need to get warm water from the bathroom for doing dishes. For staying in the summer, this place is ideal and we'd happily go back!

We felt very comfortable with Patricia and had a very relaxing time in Bochum. The house is as described, very spacious and cozy. The communication with the host was impeccable and very friendly. We were completely satisfied, especially the many bathrooms and toilets made the stay with 6 girls very easy!

Great place to stay! Really gives you the Mediterranean feeling. And that in the middle of the Ruhrgebiet! Contact with the host was outstanding. Definitely recommend this place to everyone and hope we come back soon

I stayed at Thomas place for a week during a combined business / family visit. The place is unique, very lovely in a private neighbourhood. It is spacious and well equipped. Thomas was super friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay and made me feel at home from the first minute. Solingen is close to highways to locations like Dusseldorf, Cologne or Dortmund, all of which is reachable within an hours drive. If you are looking for something exceptional, give it a try.

We had a lovely stay. Spacious and comfortable house. Everything is there. You immediately feel at home. At the back, you walk into a beautiful forest. Delicious. For shops, outings, activities, a car is necessary. If we were to mention a downside, it is that the road is closer than previously thought. Were with three teenagers and especially playing basketball and soccer in front of the house they liked very much

Ulrike's house is the best place we have stayed in Europe for so many years (perhaps not one of them), her home is like a paradise, the environment is very beautiful, and it makes people feel the beauty of being in nature. At the same time, Ulrike and her family were very kind and friendly, and always able to help us solve any problems with the house in a timely manner. At the same time, free time will give us local pastries and food, which is great👍. A wonderful stay! The place was very clean, stylishly furnished and has everything you need. The area is very quiet and everything is within walking distance and quick to reach (shopping, train, etc.). Communication with Barbara was warm, accommodating and she was always available. If we are near Düsseldorf again, we will definitely stay here again :)
