Lovely 4 night stay over Easter. The house is exactly as the photos show, beautifully decorated and clean. Hot tub was fab and a great place to watch the sunset from. Use of the property’s fields immediately behind and In front of the cottage, was an added bonus and a lovely area for the dog to roam safely and the children had a fabulous time rolling down the grassy slope. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful break from the world, with the darkest most starry skies, I have ever seen! Fab time. Thanks

Thank you Nick for a lovely stay! The location is absolutely stunning and close to other locations by car. The lodge has everything you could possibly need, the bathrooms and bedrooms are really modern and comfy. It was perfect!

Owl Cottage was a delightful place to stay for a few nights. The Cottage was well equipped with some lovely touches of full sized handwash, bath & shower gel and conditioner in both bathrooms. The bathroom downstairs has a walk in shower with an excellent flow, whilst the bathroom upstairs has a bath. The kitchen was well equipped which included a coffee maker. The terrace off the living area was beautifully situated for the daily sun and evening sunshine, although sadly we didn’t see much of this during our stay. We chose to eat out on two evenings locally around 10 minutes drive away, and we can thoroughly recommend The Swan in Brampton and the Bittescombe Inn in Upton. Both had limited menus but the food and service were excellent and busy, just thankful we pre booked. If you want to use Netflix on the TV remember your login. The communication with Alex was excellent. She was very responsive with any questions and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed.

A beautiful barn conversion in a stunning location. We loved the arrival treats of wine, chilled water, milk and scones with cream and jam! It really was a ‘home from home,’ with everything you could need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Pony Stalls is so close to Wimbleball Lake and perfect for walking. A great base to explore Exmoor and the surrounding area.
