House vacation rentals in Wijdemeren

Had a wonderful family weekend in this beautiful villa! We were with three families and that fit perfectly because there is also a beautiful safari tent in the garden with good beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and the use of swimming pool and sauna was really very nice! I recommend this house!

We had a fantastic stay! The house and surroundings are beautiful! Marlieke and family are fantastic hosts. The house was stocked with everything you can think of and more, including drinks, snacks, cooking essentials, toiletries. They thought of everything! Marlieke provided toys and a play kitchen for our 1 year old, which he loved! We were so grateful! The place was very clean. Great communication from Marlieke before and during the stay. Excellent local recommendations provided also. We would love to come back and stay again. Highly recommend to other guests!

Slept here with my girlfriend for three nights. The communication with Lydia was super, in consultation we could even check in earlier and check out a little later. The cottage was small, but certainly super nice for the two of us. Fully equipped, such as dishwashing supplies, coffee, tea and plenty of crockery. We would definitely recommend this place.

We had a nice stay. Very pleasantly welcomed….Everything nice and clean and tidy. Lots of private and a nice garden at your disposal. Close to downtown , restaurants and shops The 2nd bedroom, outside to reach, was a bit small compared to the master bedroom.

Very nice, friendly Host. He had a very fast and good response time. The house was nice and clean.

Denise's accommodation has everything; nice beds, lots of kitchen utensils, herbs, etc. We would definitely go back!

Nico was incredibly friendly and the house was exactly how it looked in the photos. Very easy access to the sprinter train to get to downtown Amsterdam. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely family reunion here with 6 adults and 2 kids. The weather didn't cooperate but the place was perfect and exactly as expected! Saskia was a lovely host- super responsive & friendly. The kitchen was great; we cooked most of the meals ourselves and enjoyed the long dining table and plenty of dishes & silverware to accommodate everyone. The beds and rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. And the location really is very central, especially since we have family in Utrecht. I can highly recommend staying here; exactly as in the listing in terms of rooms/looks etc. The only note is that it is not at all actually in South-Amsterdam, and I still really can't figure out why the listing says that. It is a great location, very central, but not South Amsterdam and you definitely need a car to get anywhere. Would love to come again in the summer! It must be magical when the weather is nice and nature is in full swing on the river in the yard. Thanks for such a great stay, Saskia!

Quiet neighborhood, traveling cheese maker present on arrival on Thursdays. Nice and functional place to stay. Very comfortable bedding. Close to Amsterdam, 10 min by car then metro to the Arena , relay parking P1, fare with metro ticket at €6. Keukenhof tour, beautiful with all tulips.

Enjoyed our time in the little houseboat, it’s small… but perfectly adequate for our family. Lovely surroundings and the most spectacular sunrises every morning! Would recommend

This is a cozy and elegant house in a quiet neighbourhood. Everything was clean and prepped up for our 2 week stay. Our host Barbara provided us with good tips about the area of Bussum and helped when we had questions. Bussum is very good starting point to explore the area of North Holland. Amsterdam is only 20 minutes away by train or car. The house offered more than enough space for our family of 2 adults, 3 kids below 10 years and 1 baby.

We stayed for 15 days at Debbie and Karen's house. It was a beautiful and unforgettable family vacation. The house is located in a very green and quiet place surrounded by farms and lakes in the vicinity. Major cities such as Hilversum, Bussum, Laren, Utrecht and Amsterdam are minutes away by motorway, bus or train. The house was very clean, very comfortable and well equipped both inside and outside. We feel the hospitality and good disposition at all times on the part of its owners from the booking. During our stay when we need or consult something, they provided or answered it instantly. Nearby there are good restaurants to go or order delivery. TIP: Bicke Totaal Loosdrecht is an excellent place to rent bikes and get to know the surroundings. Thank you very much Debbie and Karen! I hope to go back again!

What a nice and quiet place, in a beautiful setting. A wonderful house, and garden with all privacy. Enjoyed a boat hole across the Vecht and trips to Amsterdam made. Although we didn't meet in person, the contact went well. Thank you for the hospitality!

The house was exactly as described. The location is amazing, and the patio is out of this world. We had a great time!

First of all, the hostess Jan welcomed us warmly, he was friendly and personable. We would like to thank him for that. The apartment looked exactly as it appeared in the photos. It was designed and decorated with an aesthetic sense. The cleanliness was very good, especially in the bathroom, toilet and kitchen. The location was also great – we were able to reach the center of Amsterdam in just 30 minutes by car. It was a simple and stylish place to stay in the middle of nature. The only criticism would be the sound insulation. The kitchen is shared, and even the quietest noises from the kitchen can be heard directly in the room. Families with babies in particular should take this into account.

A wonderful place and a wonderful house. Everything was clean and tidy when we went. The view is also magnificent. About half an hour drive to Amsterdam centre. There are markets where you can find everything 5 minutes away. The owner of the house takes care of any problems that may arise very quickly. I would love to come in the summer.

Super calming chalet right on the water. Really great for relaxing. Was a great week to come down :)
