Beach house vacation rentals in Whitley Bay

Very cosy home. Plenty of room, very comfortable sofas and bed. Lovely touch of fresh bread, croissants, milk and fruit. Instructions for TV etc were very clear and recommendations of where to eat were very helpful. The house was very near the beach area and also the Metro to Newcastle. We would definitely recommend this home for anyone visiting the area.

We had not been to the area before but were delighted with the accommodation and with Cullercoats. The cottage was stylish and luxurious, ticking all the boxes for a really comfortable bed, great shower, well-equipped, excellent kitchen and everything you needed for a short stay or a longer one. The upstairs ensuite bedroom had a lovely sea view and was really peaceful. The downstairs double room and separate bathroom were practical as we had family visiting. The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly and the location was superb - the cottage was minutes from the beach, a small supermarket and the Metro. You could walk from the door into Whitley Bay or Tynemouth. The beach was excellent and we swam in the sea. The coastal pathway between Whitley Bay and North Shields with its separate cycle lanes will be a wonderful asset and parts of it are already completed. We settled in really well and very quickly and were a bit sad to leave. Thank you to Vikki.

House was great high level of finish with nice enclosed garden. Walking distance to local pub and several restaurants and cafes (Salt House was lovely). Would recommend and will be back if we are in the area again.

Joanne is a fabulous host. She was both responsive and helpful. When one of us had an accident requiring hospital treatment she was at pains to do anything to assist. The house was immaculate, parking easy and location perfect for ice-cream and restaurants. The beds were super comfortable . Everything was provided for a great holiday. The neighbourhood is modern, clean and quiet. Highly recommend staying here.

Leslie’s house was ideal for our stay in the NE. The house is in a residential area which is very quiet but you can be straight out to the beach / cliffs or onto the Sluice river towpath within a minute. Absolutely perfect for dog owners and the Kings Arms pub which can be seen from the house is excellent. Lovely walks along the coast to Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, Blyth etc. We would also highly recommend the Castaway coffee house which is also a stones throw from the house. We visited to pick our son up from university in Newcastle so it was really convenient for that too, just half an hour away.

The house was immaculate. Had everything we needed. The goats were really quick at responding. Really quiet area with short walk to the beach. Everywhere is really clean. The house is a great base to explore the area. Beds were all really comfortable and linen was clean. Lots of place for clothes and 2 lovely bathrooms.

Thank you Laura for a superb stay. The caravan was spotlessly clean on arrival. Clear instructions on how to find it, where to park and how to get in. Very friendly communication from host. 10/10 would recommend 😊

We loved our stay at Signal House. House is absolutely beautiful. It’s in such a lovely location with fantastic views along the coastline. Easy to walk into Amble or along coastal path in both directions. House amazing, spotlessly clean. We hope to come back some time. Thankyou Tracey for a great stay x

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a lovely break. The position of the caravan overlooking the sea is one of the best on the site and it had everything we needed. We’d very happily go back for another stay.

Lara’s cottage is in a great location for exploring Amble and the wider area. The beds are super comfortable, with a ready supply of towels. The cottage is spacious and spotless. Having private off street parking was really appreciated too. Lara is a very attentive host providing local recommendations for places to eat and also a welcome hamper. I would certainly recommend! What a wonderful place. Has been renovated to the highest quality. Really pristine and cosy at the same time. Hot tub was great. Beautiful views. Anna was extremely helpful and very responsive! Would recommend 10/10

The cottage is in a great position to the harbour. It was so well equipped. A fantastic base to travel around from and coming back from a day out and being able to park easily on the street was a bonus. Then relax in the yard was just what you needed. We had a small issue, but when I contacted James. He responded straight away and was at the cottage to sort it out within ten minutes.

This property is comfortable and has all the facilities needed for a family. It was particularly good for the dogs and treats were left as a welcome for them too. Amble is easy to walk to and is a lovely place to stay and explore. We had a lovely week!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandridge, everything there we needed. Good location with plenty of on street parking and a few steps from the beach, the high street and good local restaurants. Gary was a very helpful host.

Accommodation was very good. beautiful fluffy towels, lovely beds, had all the facilities we needed. within walking distance of Amble and harbour. Within driving distance of Bamburgh castle and Holy island. Lovely stay, thoroughly enjoyed it.

From initial enquiry to check out, Martin and Maria were easy to communicate with, friendly and professional. The bungalow is beautifully situated, with plenty of parking. On entering, it was spotlessly clean with every facility we could have wished for and was even bigger and better than the photos. Great sea views from the conservatory and lounge and an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. The huge lounge was lovely and when the evening turned chilly, the efficient heating soon warmed us. Beds and bedding were comfortable and loads of hot water for great showers. Well equipped kitchen and very handy to have huge fridge and freezer. We found that it was easy to get to all the places on our ‘to do’ list - Puffin/seal watching boat trip, Barter Books, endless fabulous beaches, great pubs, lovely walks. Would definitely recommend this lovely place and thank Martin and Maria for their hospitality. Would not hesitate to book again if we are lucky enough to return.

myself and 2 friends, were on a 3 day, cycling holiday and all of us agree , the cottage was above expectations. lovely decor and all very modern and new . bathroom was very classy. location was excellent for walks along the beach and plenty of local shops, greengrocer, bakery, co-op right over the road. lots of good pubs, especially recconenf, Porters , for great beer and excellent food. Cresswell arms, excellent quirky pub, well worth a visit
