Excellent apartment with sea views. Easy access to the sea/promenade. Lovely location. Clean and tidy apartment. Good communication.

We had a great few days at maytrees, was a good base for exploring Scarborough & Whitby with lots of amenities on the doorstep. Emma was helpful and easy to contact and we appreciated the welcome hamper after a long drive.

This is the second time i have stayed here, the flat was spotlessly clean on both occasions, the location is great and the views are superb, the flat is fully equipped with everything I needed and the secure off street parking is a fantastic added extra. Will certainly be staying again.

Stayed here for a work break and it was the perfect location. The flat is super quiet, which made it ideal for online meetings on Zoom and Teams – the internet connection was reliable throughout my stay. Since I spent a lot of time indoors, I really appreciated how cosy and comfortable it was, making it an excellent base. The cleanliness was outstanding – I was so impressed, I even hoovered a few times myself to keep it spotless! York is a lovely city that I visit a couple of times a year, and this flat definitely made my stay even more enjoyable. I also felt quite safe as a woman on my own there and walking around in the local area. I highly recommend this flat!

Great communication from Sue both before and during our stay. The little touches of milk in the fridge and a few biscuits ready for our arrival was lovely. The flat itself was furnished and decorated to a high standard. Everything you could possibly need during your stay is there. Cannot recommend this place and Sue highly enough. We will definitely be returning for another stay. Ideally located as only a short walk into Scarborough.

We loved how Tracy's place is walkable from the train station as well as the sights in York. Modern, clean, stylish interior-loved the rain shower in bath. Great decor/artwork. Comfortable beds, nice terrace, responsive host. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is very comfortable - perfect for two people intending to visit the area in and around York. The village is idyllic - beautiful houses on a village green with pond, maypole and pub.

I had a fantastic stay at Forge Cottage with my dog! The location is amazing – ideal for exploring the Yorkshire coast and moors, with so many great walks right on the doorstep. The cottage itself was super comfy, and had everything I needed. Peaceful, cosy, and perfect for a solo traveller with a dog. Ray was a brilliant host – friendly, helpful, and full of great local tips (we did all his walk suggestions and loved them!). Can't wait to come back – highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this wonderful accommodation. Everything was of good quality and very clean. The location is excellent with shops and pubs, cafes within a few steps from the accommodation. Communication with the host was extremely good and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place as a lovely place to stay.

Autumn’s Nook was a great place to stay. My wife and I were there for three nights. Everything was clean and worked as expected. The location was very good and was quick and easy to get to all of the charming spots that Whitby is known for. Will stay here again on our next visit to Whitby. Didn’t use parking but parking cards and a disc were on the table when we arrived. A detailed map showed where parking could be found. Will recommend to any family and friends going to Whitby.

We had a lovely 3 night stay with our toddler. The view is beautiful! The house had everything we needed and was spotless. We took a walk to find the waterfall and although very steep it didn’t take too long, even with a 20 month old in tow. The pub down the hill was also very lovely. The nearest shop was about a 10 minute drive away but wasn’t a problem. We visited Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hood’s bay. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful scenic stay :)

We had a wonderful stay at Val's place. it is cosy, and clean and had everything we needed. The location is fab, with lovely bars and cafes just a short walk away, and a beautiful view of the sea in the other direction. Just perfect. We would recommend this place, and we'd certainly love to stay again ❤️

Lovely stay in York. Perfect place to get away - and plenty of room for the four of us. Also, nice to have a toilet and sink in the upstairs room :)

Great place to stay for a short break in York! Car parking was close and the walk into York a short distance. Overall happy with accommodation and access to York.

Very clean, high quality accommodation on a wonderful site with great facilities and access to Filey and surrounding areas. We used the pool a lot and that was very enjoyable, as well as walking down to the beach. Our baby loved using the toddler pool as well. Troy was really helpful and the flat has everything you might need.

We stayed at Bay Retreat for 2 nights. It was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished, lovely and warm and well equipped. It is just a 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach, we walked into Filey and back along the coast, gorgeous! It's close to some good pubs and restaurants. We didn't stay long enough to use the facilities that are included on the holiday village site, such as the pool, sauna, steam room etc but that's a bonus for if you have a longer stay or the weather isn't too good. We would definitely stay again.

Susan's place was just what we wanted. A comfortable, tidy setting close to the sea with lots of walking available and near one of our favourite coasts. The apartment provided everything we needed and more. Facilities to cook if we wanted and a particularly luxurious bed! We didn't explore the facilities on the site but there seemed to be plenty. Perhaps next time! Thank you Susan for hosting so well.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful apartment in Whitby. Perfect location for accessing everything in the town.

Nice location near the beach for our dogs. Lovely quiet resort. Modern, clean apartment. Our dogs just missed access to a private secure garden so we had to take them out for little toilet stops but overall great place.

Beautifully decorated, warm atmosphere and located perfectly.

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!
