Boomerang Boulder Bach Whareroa Village Lake Taupō

Built in 2023 the Boomerang Boulder Bach above the shores of Lake Taupo, at Whareroa, is styled in the architectural era of the 1950s. Wood-paneling throughout, stone interior wall, Scandinavian-styled furniture, and bespoke kitchen. A wrap-around deck shows off Lake Taupo, and the imposing Whareroa Cliffs with an enticing bath tub nestled at the base. The village has very few permanent residents and so the peace and quiet is almost deafening; birdsong or boats is often all you will hear.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space, with amazing views of the sunset. Fully renovated in 2020 Cook a delicious meal in the well equipped kitchen, then dine on your choice of decks to soak up the rural or sea views. Just a 7 minute walk to the popular Castlecliff beach for a swim or take a stroll along the black sandy beach, call into the Citadel for a meal or drink on the way home. Our Sunset Delight house is a thoughtfully designed new build located at the beautiful Kai Iwi Beach. It has stunning panoramic views of the sea from the living areas and master bedroom with spectacular sunsets. There are large sliding doors so that the living areas can be opened up to the sea air and views. Only a short walk and you can be down at Kai Iwi beach enjoying a swim or taking the kids for a walk to the fantastic playground located by the beach.

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Formerly a city bus from Tasmania and Wellington, this roomy bus has been meticulously outfitted with all of your desired luxury comforts. The bus has heat and aircon for your cozy comfort regardless of the weather. Situated in a quiet, private section just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Access to the bus has a large flight of stairs - complete with a bench to enjoy a sunset view and a glass of wine.
