Vacation rentals with breakfast in Whanganui River

This is such a lovely home to stay in. Beautifully furnished and feels so private with the outside deck and secure fencing. The fridge and pantry were well stocked. It was a shame we didn't stay longer to really enjoy the cottage. Lynette is a lovely friendly host. Thank you!

Loved the house and location... views spectacular. great place for a large group... there were twelve of us and did not feel crowded. close to town and the markets. Better than we expected. Will recommend it to friends and family traveling to Whanganui.

myself and grandchildren loved Cecile's place..homely and has everything our lil family needed even the extras of brekky stuff, spreads, bread, milk ..truly appreciated when showing up with X4 young children ..We had a dip in pool abit cool at this time of year but refreshing ..

“A Perfect Stay with Stunning Views!” I had an amazing stay at this AirBnB! The location was perfect—peaceful, yet close to everything I needed. One of the highlights was the beautiful walk nearby, which offered breathtaking views that made every morning feel magical. This was my second stay at Ohm home, the first time being 5 years ago when I stayed here for 7 days on my own. This time was with my partner and since staying here the first time I’ve always raved about this stay and looked fondly back at the photos I’d taken. As great as the place looks from photos, nothing is as incredible and picturesque as actually being there and wow did it still amaze me being back again. The home itself is amazing, spotlessly clean with all the amenities and some very nice extra touches to make the stay that much nicer. The views and environment there are truly special and unique and I’ve not found any other place to be able to so easily feel at peace and truly switch off and relax. We will definitely be staying here again and I don’t think there will ever be another stay and experience even close to Ohm home. Thank you so much Raquel and Eduard for providing such a special place!

Beautiful place, the owner baked us a fresh loaf which was amazing. Really appreciate how friendly the owner was, left us to our own devices after a nice hello. The sculpture garden was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake. Perfect in the evening to cozy up and watch something on the smart TV with some Air-Con too. We’ll be back as soon as we can!

I didn't stay here personally but my best friend did. She said it was amazing. Clean, tidy, great location. She said Jane went above and beyond. I spoke back n forth with Jane when booking the air bnb and she was super helpful.

The beautiful historic Fire Station has been transformed into a posh home decor store on the ground level and some very nice apartments on the first floor. Beautifully finished hardwood floors, large rooms and high ceilings give a sense of grandeur to the place. We enjoyed the comfortable leather couches and chairs in the living room. When we needed a bigger pot for cooking and some extra hangers for clothes, the host, though out of town that weekend, responded immediately and had the maid bring them over. The apartment is very walkable to all the attractions downtown and, if you have a car, there is a secure parking place in the courtyard. There can be a bit of road noise outside the bedrooms, but not so much that earplugs can’t handle. We would recommend staying at this beautiful apartment if you want a convenient place to stay in Whanganui.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home ….. our hosts Marki and Chris were just wonderful and everything about the space and the surroundings was top notch. The furnishings, decor, attention to detail, lovely treats and overall vibe of the home was very special …. Walking distance to the most beautiful little bay, surrounded by nature was awesome. Would thoroughly recommend!!!

Very welcoming. Host arrived with some freshly baked bread and the fire was warming the house. We recommend staying here!

What a beautiful spot! Great view from deck, kitchen and hot tub of the volcano and loved having a few different spots to relax depending on time of day. Good distance to the volcano for hiking but also the amenities of the house were great, as well as neighbouring highland cows!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fran’s. Very private and lovely rooms. We especially loved the great breakfast selection. Easy contactless entry to the rooms and peaceful location. Fran is very friendly and accomodating. We would stay there again if ever we travelled back to the Manawatu.

Anne was an amazing host. Very friendly great conversation. Felt right at home. Would highly recommend a stay here and we would definitely stay again if we return to Feilding.

I love this place; both Gary & Penny's sweeeet home and beautiful Taupo! Though weather wasn't good, warm hospitality made my honeymoon the best of best; Room was clean with dedicated bathroom & bedroom, a wonderfull shared spaces with everything. Surely it's better option to take Gary & Penny's home rather than other hotels nearby Taupo downtown. Wish all the best to Gary & Penny!!😍❤️👍👍👍

Martin is a great host, super friendly and accommodating, he also gave us recommendations to stop for our onward travel. Lovely house - comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and breakfast stuff was laid out for us. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
