This stylish and unique retreat space sets the stage for a memorable trip to a beautiful part of Lake Taupo. A stand alone spacious modern room with ensuite, separate from the main house with a stunning view of the lake. We are a short walk to the lake for swims or use our kayaks. We are surrounded by gorgeous nature walks. You may wish to treat yourself to a relaxing massage, or book in for boating excursions & water-sports, $150 for first hour, $100 per hour thereafter. Keep it simple at this peaceful and well-located space, with access to the beautiful Virginia Lake , quaint little guest residence with queen bed & ensuite. Recently painted and carpeted. With own access. Facilities to make tea and coffee, with microwave / toaster and mini fridge and Smart TV in second room. Guest house is located next to the main dwelling, linked by beautiful decking, that guests have shared access to utilise. Our house / guesthouse is situated well back from the road.

Richcrest Cabin is built for two people. Off the grid and eco-friendly. Set beside a small lake and totally private. Enjoy the company of New Zealand's beautiful birds, Tui, Fantail and an abundance of Kereru. The cabin provides a stunning peaceful private retreat to escape from the trappings of modern life. Double glazed, fully insulated, infinity gas and a 100 year old weeping willow tree to relax and unwind under. Situated on a traditional New Zealand sheep and beef hill country farm.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Quaint but roomy two bedroom house with full amenities, less then 50 metres from Virginia Lake & Walkway, very peaceful and safe, remote control garage off road and space for more cars. Private courtyard, two large bedrooms, large lounge and living area with extra pull out bed if required. Fully equipped Kitchen and quiet sunroom. Easy accessible Bathroom with shower & seperate toilet, laundry with washing machine & drying line.

"The End of the Road"

The bach is well equipped, but GUESTS MUST SUPPLY OWN LINEN (sheets, pillow slips & towels), and CLEAN it before leaving. It is a fisherman's bach at the end of a quiet street. Lake Taupo is a 10 minute walk and the Tauranga Taupo River nearby. We have plenty of duvets and blankets. NO WIFI. If you are unable to clean the house before you leave or supply your own linen it's better if you find a motel or hotel nearby. We keep the price lower by not having a cleaning fee.

Hidden Valley Retreat. Toutouwai Chalet.

Toutouwai Chalet is part of Hidden Valley Retreat. A unique property set on 17 acres of land with three lakes. The chalet is simple, modern and warm. There is a generous deck with views over a private lake. Ideally located at the Ohakune Junction with a short drive to the ski fields and town centre. It is a five minute walk to the best bars and restaurants. As a guest you'll have access to a unique lakefront woodfired sauna which is part of Hidden Valley Retreat.

Great location for accessing Lake Taupo (5 minutes) walk including great marina and cafe. Turangi (10 minutes drive), World famous trout fishing in the Tongariro River. Ski fields, tramping and Tongariro Crossing are only 45 minutes away. Taupo is just over half an hour away to the North. Accommodation is situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac.
