Sweet flexible host subject to repetition!!!

We had a lovely stay! The Airbnb is on the farm with the hosts in a small annex. In general, we spoke to the hosts in person on arrival and departure, otherwise we only saw the two of them walking across the yard sometimes. But we had our privacy at all times and you didn't feel watched. The kitchen is well equipped and we rented the sauna for €40/3 hours, which can be reached directly through a door at the bedroom. That was a great experience! In addition, P+R is directly in Groningen for €6/5 persons/round trip. We can recommend the Airbnb!

Nice and cozy house with a farm-like atmosphere. We definitely felt at home. It has a very nice large garden. The neighbors' horses walked around the lawn opposite the garden. So we had a good view of the beautiful horses. The house has stylish furniture and the smoke is nice throughout the stay. The coffee was delicious! Everything was clean. The beds were nice. The house is close to an industrial area, so trucks drive by early in the morning, but with the window closed, we had little trouble! The thrift store around the corner is nice and Leek is also a very cozy village further down the road. It is close to Groningen. This cottage is definitely recommended!

we had a fantastic stay at her wonder. the house itself is extremely comfortable and clean. beautifully and tastefully decorated with great little touches. the beds were comfortable and the location was exactly what we were hoping for: peaceful, walkable and with plenty of wildlife around. we will definitely be back!

Thomas & Marrit's house is really lovely-well thought out apartment. It's a 15 minute drive to Groningen and the surroundings and the house/garden itself are so nice. They were also friendly, flexible & helpful. As shared in the description, there is some noise from passing trains and cars, but you can watch it from the window, and my 3 year old loved that. I also enjoyed staying in the box wall bed, so unique. The kitchen is minimal, with just the essentials and no dishwasher, but it's perfect for a short stay. I would definitely come back to this house and better explore their garden along the water, the trampoline and the piano/stage area that is inside the property when you first walk in.

We had a very pleasant stay, in a neat accommodation and beautiful surroundings. A place where you can "de-stress" completely. Chantal and Simon are very friendly hostess/gentleman who clearly went out of their way to make the guests happy. We have been able to explore the area several times and also enjoyed restaurants in the immediate area. As far as we are concerned, recommended and if the opportunity arises, we will definitely come back again. And oh yes, the wine, a personal product of Chantal and Simon, tastes fine according to my wife (I am not a connoisseur😉).

We had a great time in the Pastorie. It is cozy, private and well equipped. There is everything you need and more. Parking was possible just in front of the flat. Also Lieke provided some extra Baby stuff. We enjoyed our time! We can recommend! Thank you so much!

We extremely enjoyed staying at Jikkestyn's place. For the children there was a lot to discover (indoors with many toys, loft bed, etc. - outdoor with about 180 different animals, trampoline, etc...), for us the long-awaited peace. What surprised us was that the area was extremely touristy and we got through everything with English or German. All in all, a picture book stay that we can always recommend for families with young children!

What a beautiful place, I really enjoyed the stay and the jacuzzi, walked wonderfully with the dogs in the beautiful surroundings and Gerard and his wife Rieke are incredibly friendly!

What a beautiful apartment in this beautiful water tower! Everything was neat and clean. The beds slept wonderfully. It was also nice that there were several pillows to choose from. We greatly loved our stay!

Wonderful and nice central place to explore Schier. In the middle of the village, near the bus, restaurants, supermarket and cozy terraces. Cozily furnished and nice terrace at the front where you can watch the world pass a bit. Also very nice to be able to use the two basic but good quality bicycles. Adjustable saddle without tools in height. Recommended!

Had a great stay! Great location within walking distance of central Groningen. Very clean and cosy. Loved the little patio. We hope we can come back soon.

Tineke is a generous and careful host! Everything here is of exellent quality and in a good condition. You can live here for a year without having to buy extra things😆

We spent a weekend with two families including four children. Location is beautiful, quiet yet close to all amenities. The accommodation is very complete and equipped with every comfort. The children have enjoyed the space with table tennis table, pool table and shuffleboard for hours. Ideal when it was raining outside. The horses outside were also very popular with the children. The sauna and plunge pool for the parents made the house complete. Mieke is very hospitable and gave us good tips for the surroundings. We had a fantastic weekend. The kids can't wait to go again. THANKS for the hospitality Mieke!

Compact studio equipped with everything you need, with beautiful garden and views of the church. Piet Paaltjens lived in the rectory, nice poem on the wall. Quiet area, plenty to see, good base. Yfke and Henk are very kind and have created a beautiful place. Worth repeating!
