Nice place to stay, recommend it!

Maurits really is a super host. Friendly, responsive, helpful; among the very best hosts at airbnbs we've stayed. The kitchen did not have a microwave, and he bought one for us. Would stay with him anytime anywhere. Location was perfect, walk to bus stops, center of town, and both an Albert Heijn and Jumbo. The house was an authentic schipperswonig, but outfitted with an electronic lock system and heating system that was quiet and effective. Note three things to guests: (1) typical Dutch flight of stairs, but good handrail and perfectly navigable (better than most); (2) oven and mirrors at height suitable for > 180 cm tall Dutch person; (3) Groningen is a university town and current next door neighbors are students who had extremely noisy friends every Thursday night (very late); they did respond to our complaint, but needed to be told twice. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

We were surprised by the large of the house. 3 large bedrooms, where the curtains unfortunately let a lot of light through. Nice spacious living room and dining table. We just missed some mirrors. 1 mirror on the bathroom for in my case 6 women is really too little. Should have hung a mirror in the bedrooms. But price technically definitely very interesting and highly recommended.

We spent a wonderful week at Aagje in Een-West. Beautiful spacious house with a lovely garden. Good beds. We met wonderfully sunny weather. Since it is still early in the year, it was also wonderful to sit in the igloo greenhouse at the end of the afternoon;where it was warmed up by the sun. Aagje is a very sweet hostess;cheerful,interested and always willing to give information about the beautiful surroundings. We spend a wonderful weekend there with friends. The location is lovely and quiet, but close to lots of activities in the area. Perfect place to stay, we'll definitely come here again.

We loved every moment of our stay in Edwin's beautiful home! We were arriving earlier than the check in time, and Edwin made sure he was there to personally greet us and let us check in early. He was so friendly and helpful, with lots of lovely recommendations. He also left us enough food in the fridge for a couple of great breakfasts, which was much appreciated after some time travelling, and even some wine and beer for us too! The home was just lovely, beautifully taken care of but with plenty of charm. There was so much room to make ourselves at home, with a big comfy bed, cute little dining area, and the beautiful roof terrace to enjoy. The kitchen had everything we needed, great if you don't want to eat out all the time! We learned that Edwin is an artist and there was lots of his beautiful work displayed in the home which was a really cool touch. We were honoured to be your first Australian guests and we will be back next time we visit - we loved every moment!

We had a short vacation with two children. The accommodation has enough space for a family of 4. The rooms were all clean. You have everything you need. And we had felt like at home. In the garden there is a nice sauna and a large hot tub. The sauna is worth the money in our opinion. And we were allowed to enjoy the hot tub to the fullest with the wood provided to us free of charge. The surroundings and a very nice playground also leave nothing to be desired. I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you and all the best!

Fantastic home in a lovely village, would love to visit again.

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

We returned to Yvonne’s place again because it’s perfect. The house is easy to find, has own parking space, located in a very peaceful and pretty neighbourhood, and less than 15 minutes away from TT circuit. Everything inside is very clean, modern and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Yvonne is a wonderful host, very friendly, responsive and helpful. Very highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a very nice stay at the apartment on De Vaart. The center of Assen is within walking distance and there are a lot of fun things to do. The apartment itself has all the comforts and we slept wonderfully. Certainly subject to repetition.

The room is as described and shown in the pictures. The location is perfect as it is really close to the city centre and all the main attractions. Totally worth the visit!

The apartment right on the water is really a quiet oasis to relax. We had a very nice time and were delighted with the little touches for breakfast. Communication with Ina was very kind and straightforward. We would recommend the place for a relaxing, quiet vacation at any time.

Me, three teenagers and a cocker spaniel stayed two nights in this nice apartment. Cozyly decorated with older furniture, plenty of space and with a fully protected small garden. We all enjoyed it! Hil has put great care on the equipment and we lacked nothing. We hope to come back!

Lovely cottage in a farm house. The bed is extremely comfortable, pictures don't do the place justice, the interior is very cozy and charming. Host is very kind and the place feels home. Shops are walking distance, and the house is located opposite the canal, sunsets are beautiful. There is a bus 5 minutes walk from the house. Nice area to relax and unwind - away from the hustle and bustle of cities. The neighbourhood is peaceful and the villagers are friendly.

What a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Fantastic B&B you just HAVE TO book!! The tranquility, the nature and the cozy clean place was like a part of heaven. Anything you need is there, but really everything! The beds are lovely! And the fresh eggs from the chickens were well consumed by us. All in all,... a place to want to go back to.

What a beautiful apartment in this beautiful water tower! Everything was neat and clean. The beds slept wonderfully. It was also nice that there were several pillows to choose from. We greatly loved our stay!

Very short but very comfortable stay, the accommodation and the fabulous location

Due to my husband's work, we stayed at Dennis and his family's place for 7 weeks, who live in the large part of the house. The place is very quietly located. For those who love it like we do, it's perfect. You only need a car or bike for weekly shopping as there are no shops in the village. The rooms are small and each has a dresser in it. The bathroom, on the other hand, is very spacious. You absolutely have to ventilate after every shower, otherwise it smells a bit peculiar. The kitchen and living room invite you to linger. Unfortunately, the garden was always very wet due to the weather, which is why we cannot report much about it. Behind the house there is a very nice playground and picnic areas. There are plenty of great walking trails. We made excursions to Groningen, Veemdam, Assen and even Amsterdam. We enjoyed it very much. Dennis and his family were incredibly nice!

The long weekend in the apartment overlooking the lake was beautiful. The apartment is freshly renovated and we were welcomed with drinks and some treats in the fridge. We were even allowed to borrow the canoe to ride it across the lake. Joke and her husband Martin help wherever they can. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

The accomodation is located in a wonderful and silent neighborhood. The apartement was clean, very well equipped and cosy. The owners were friendly, Christel was quick to react if needed. We had a lovely stay and would gladly return.
