There is a lot to experience in and around Orvelte, art and culture and plenty of recreation. In short, a wonderful location, centrally located in beautiful Drenthe, to get away from it all.

Right in the center of Winsum , according to the ANWB the most beautiful village in the Netherlands, is our B&B De creaking wagons. In the back of our garden, 2 converted gypsy wagons and 2 wagons are available as accommodation. They can be booked both separately and together. We converted the creaking wagons ourselves into B&B. So don't expect a top finish, but all the amenities are there. We serve an extensive breakfast to our guests in the morning with enough to make another packed lunch.

Landgoedboerderij Oosterheerdt has a Bed & Breakfast, where you can stay for a short or longer period of time. The two comfortable rooms with private sanitary facilities are located in the monumental front house of the characteristic farm. In addition to the two rooms, there is a dining room available to guests, where they can meet each other. From the B&B, you can easily enter the Nienoord estate. If you want to relax, you're fine here. Rural location, cozy and quiet place, 10 km away from the city of Groningen and 3.2 km from the airport. The village is 1.5 km away. Although we live behind the airport, we do not have any noise nuisance. Biking, hiking, running, sailing on the Paterswoldsemeer, Hoornse Plas. Eelde/Paterswolde is a village with several cores. Sights, Museum De Buitenplaats, Lemferdinge Estate, Friescheveen.

This is the master bedroom of our characteristic building. A large bright room with beautiful views and light from two sides. There is a sitting area, large table, coffee and tea facilities, TV, reading lights by the bed and sofa. You share the bathroom, as well as the separate toilet, with any guests from the other rooms. The rooms are located on the first floor. You have to be able to walk well, the stairs have no handrail.

Please note the following travel times (by bus) from our B&B to Groningen: - From B&B to UMCG (hospital): 40 minutes By car it takes about 20 minutes to get to Groningen.

BnB Het West - Garden room

A little bit of information in advance. When booking with 2 people, only 1 room is prepared at a time. The 2nd bedroom only comes from the 3rd person. If 2 people want to sleep separately, that's also possible. However, the price for 2 people and the use of 2 bedrooms is a little higher.
