I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.

Tranquil, that's how I felt at Eshab's Homestay. It was really a home away from home. The friendly doggos and the ever so attentive staff were always ready to assist with a smile. Food at the restaurant was delicious, the never ending cups of steaming hot milk tea, the drizzle of the rain and the cold crisp air was perfect indeed. We were regaled with karaoke at their bar and restaurant, and on our last night, upon the owner's insistence, we even gave it a shot! We stayed for 4 nights and it was worth it. We did a fair bit of sightseeing (Pelling, Chakung etc) and leisurely walks up to the monastery and the falls. They even provide you with umbrellas! Everything was well managed by the kind staff - Alisha, Rohit, Susma, Kabita and a few others including the happy and helpful young men who drove us around ( namely RK, Pasang and Tashi) - and the pleasant and chatty owner, Kesang's dad who was a total sweetheart! I stayed with my family and it was exactly how I wanted it to be. The house is extremely well maintained and very clean with a fully functional kitchen. The balcony had stunning views. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive. Loved the overall experience and would definitely go back to visit this place again 🥰

We spent a couple of days at this serene retreat and absolutely loved it! Our ever-smiling host, Lama Pasang, was incredibly helpful. The presence of the super-friendly dogs was a much-appreciated bonus. While local food options were limited, they were delicious and very reasonably priced. We would love to visit again — preferably for a longer stay!

If you’re looking for a remote getaway that offers privacy and the charm of village and farm living, this is the perfect place. My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here. The property is beautifully maintained, and the hospitality provided by the host and their family was exceptional. From the homemade, organic food to the locally crafted liquor, everything was delicious and healthy. The barbecue prepared by the host was a highlight—absolutely “yum yum”! They also went above and beyond to assist us with local sightseeing, making our experience even more memorable. A special mention goes to the host’s sweet grandmother, their lovely niece Neema, and their adorable dog Snoopy, who added so much warmth and joy to our stay. Thank you, Dwakapa, for an unforgettable experience in Yuksom. We’d love to visit again someday!

We had a relaxing and rejuvenating stay at Izom Him Homestay. The host was very responsive and caring, the Manager Raj was equally responsible and prompt. The food served by Pronita was homely and had amazing flavours. Only downside is the approach to the homestay which our host had well informed us. I wish the roads are mended pretty soon for easy access. We faced no difficulties in the commute as Raj had helped us with pick and drop services. Thank you for having us.

Great apartment, compact rooms but plenty of space for family of 4. Lovely fluffy towels! Lots of extras supplied - coffee, toothbrushes, plug convertors etc. Location is good - walking distance to the train station and restaurants, but quiet at night. Host was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and offered to arrange breakfast items. The apartment has a board with info on it, although would be helpful to have a map with the apartment marked on it. Lovely view of the mountains at sunset from one of the rooms. Only thing we suggested would be good to have is a small fridge, but the kitchen is otherwise well equipped.
