We loved our stay in the cozy cabin. It was more spacious than depicted in the photos. The cabin is tucked away in the redwoods and felt private and secluded, and at the same time was extremely accessible; downtown Arcata was only a 10 minute drive.

Our group had a wonderful stay over New Years Eve week. The property is absolutely beautiful, cozy and very private. It was exactly what we were looking for. Matt gave us very detailed directions to find the remote property. The home was very well appointed with amenities and very comfortable beds. We loved relaxing in the the hot tub and exploring around the region. We would definitely book again. Thanks Matt!

This home was absolutely breathtaking! From the moment you pulled into the driveway you already felt right at home. The house was cozy and the furniture extremely comfortable. The kitchen was WELL stocked and it had everything that you could possibly need. We ended up cooking dinner one of the nights there because how cozy and easy it was! The big open windows made it so you could see the ocean from every aspect of the house. Drinking a cider and sitting in the jacuzzi while watching the waves was the best part. This was a home away from home and we are already looking forward to returning!

Thanks to the many amazing reviews, I chose this place and everything was exactly how everyone said! When I drove into the neighborhood at first I had a “bad” impression but as soon as I parked my car at the cottage the feeling changed and opening up that door made my trip! That red sofa is my favorite part! It really creates a beautiful ambience! My Italian girlfriend really cares about cleaning and she was speechless! Everything was extremely clean and made our staying very comfortable. We have never had such a great Airbnb experience like we had at Sally’s. She is such an amazing host, she spent so much time helping us refine our trip with recommendations and making us feeling at home with little details like her famous cobbler and her chickens’ eggs. So we genuinely can’t recommend this place enough!

Definitely worth the money for the amenities, privacy and convenient location to town. I feel like all coastal homes have that wet-scent but otherwise had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay and more. The walkable paths in the back are note-worthy as well. Thank you.

One of my all-time favorite Airbnb stays. The pictures truly do not do it justice. It is a magical setting. The quality of furnishings and linens were excellent. As much as we delighted in seeing the redwoods and checking out fern canyon, trillium falls and other wonderful treasures, the view from the window seat was hard to beat. Lisa’s place was pristine, the hottub had a spectacular view and we really appreciated the clear guidance and local recommendations. We particularly enjoyed beachcomber’s cafe in Trinidad for bougie coffee and delicious sandwiches (homemade beet hummus says it all!). We adventured down to the beach from The house and didn’t pay much heed to the warnings. It was more than we bargained for but had a delightful, if muddier than intended time. The sea lions in the area were very amused by our escapades. I’d recommend enjoying the view from the house and sticking to public access beaches. This is a special place and one we hope to return to soon!

This is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in. The hosts have gone an extra mile to provide high quality furnishings throughout. The garage is fully equipped with fun play things: ping pong, darts, and more. Back yard was perfect for us and our dog. Wish we had had time for the hot tub. Thank you; we’ll be back.

Bluff House is a serene and beautiful get-a-way in an unbeatable location. The view of the ocean over the bluff is enhanced by the huge, west-facing windows. The host, Beverly, is friendly, responsive, and helpful. We would come back here in a heartbeat.

This was our second time staying here. It is very comfortable and the location is perfect-close to everything and very walkable. We will be back.
