The Retro River Retreat home is a secure, well maintained, uniquely decorated home. This beautiful property sits directly on a very fishable section of the Trinity River. The setting is serene and quiet. We were impressed by the WIFI/internet signal strength, having more than just one TV was great and the King adjustable bed was just what the doctor ordered.

Daisy was very helpful in every way from the begging of our stay until the last minute. The place was very peaceful and beautiful , exactly what we were looking for. My family and I had a great time there and planning on coming back. Thank you Daisy and Zak.

Wow I can’t say enough good things about Kimberly and this beautiful house! Kimberly was so responsive and accommodating, thinking of all the details to make us feel comfortable with our family during our stay. The home is SO beautiful and inspiring. So much character in this old home. The dish collections in the kitchen were darling and we enjoyed getting to use them! The decor and little thoughtful touches in each room were above and beyond! Will definitely stay here again when visiting family nearby.

Colleen place is a very well up kept place to stay. She has everything there that you would need for your stay. Very accommodating to their guest!!!

Absolutely a beautiful Yurt with beautiful views & even more beautiful souls the straw house team went way beyond & felt more like family then a staff. everything about a vacation away from redding was perfect , food . thank you so much for bringing down blankets & chairs & a table for us by the river to lay & read & relax. the cafe'is heaven & can't wait to come back for more. in love with All of it. 🤗 very blessed to gave found this place. Had a great time at the barndominium. One drawback was that we were told not to use the stairway entry which prevented us from locking up the space and felt a little insecure with the safety of our belongings ( although the area did feel safe so I got used to it) The hosts were very respectful and were at our beck and call if we needed. Overall it was a really great stay!

We stayed here while fly fishing the trinity river for the weekend. A beautiful property and a wonderful host. Katie was more than accommodating, even suggesting local events and restaurants to check out. Plenty of parking (plenty of room for two trucks plus a boat/trailer) A nice warm place to stay if your fishing the upper end of the river through the colder months!

The cabin is cute and cozy. It had everything we needed.
