Coastal Redwood Getaway on a Creek

IeshaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cabin was really beautiful and was surrounded by redwoods - we even saw two foxes in the morning. Sleeping in the 2nd separate bedroom was so peaceful with the sound of the creek behind it. The hot tub was very private and a great feature. We did have a snafu with the bed frame in the main bedroom but it did not detract from our experience. The host was very responsive and we really enjoyed our stay.
An interior view of the cabin features a cozy sleeping area with a queen-sized bed adorned in a patterned blanket and decorative pillows. Above, a loft bed is accessed by a wooden ladder, and a window offers a view of the surrounding greenery.

Santa Cruz Redwood Forest Cabin Hot Tub Pet+

ChrissyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had such a great time staying in the Jazmine cabin. It is quite small, but expected. There are so many things to explore and see within walking distance and food is a 5 to 10 minute drive into town (I fell in love with the small town of Soquel). Emkay and Lara were amazing hosts, it's a bonus they live on the property. Which by the way is so zen and beautiful. I can't say enough about the "beach" area, it is so peaceful. Emkay and his family were so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We took our 2 little dogs and they had a blast exploring the property. I will be back. Thank you Emkay and Lara, see you soon!
The exterior of the eco-luxury cabin is surrounded by tall trees, showcasing a spacious deck with a hot tub. Soft lighting highlights the cabin's entrance, inviting guests to explore the serene forest setting. The gravel pathway leads from the deck into the lush greenery.

Luxe one-of-a-kind 1BR cabin with private hot tub

ChristineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay!! Beautiful property, everything about it is so wonderful. The kitchen is fully stacked, there’s plenty of space, the hot tub was very relaxing. We were having trouble with the AC in the room with the television. But we also didn’t reach out to the number that was available, so maybe try that if you are having problems. Everything else was so amazing, we definitely recommend staying here!

Redwood Grove Retreat

JackieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Our stay at Brookes home was great! The space was incredibly clean and comfortable. We felt very comfortable and safe. I wish I could have stayed longer, but the space was beautiful outside even after the storm. We had a small hiccup trying to get the lock to work, but Brooke was super fast with her response & helped us get in quickly. 10/10 would stay again!

Eclectic Escape

RahilRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful wooden retreat! The property is even more charming in person and very thoughtfully designed with a cozy, rustic feel, yet fully equipped with all the modern amenities you could ask for. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with love. From the well-stocked kitchen, all toiletries and comfortable bedding to the fast Wi-Fi and relaxing outdoor space, every detail made our stay feel easy and luxurious. The peaceful surroundings added to the overall sense of relaxation, making it a perfect escape. We even celebrated our daughter’s bday and got some amazing personal photography in the house. Caleb was very friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would absolutely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and stylish getaway.

I can’t say enough great things about my stay (over a month long) at Lola’s place! It was absolutely beautiful, tranquil and had a huge yard for my two dog to run around and explore. Lola was always very responsive and friendly. Great escape from the city life but only moments away from Redwood City and Menlo Park. Will absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Don’t miss this rare gem!

Alesia provided clear instructions on how to access the cabin. Longhorns were very friendly and responded to humans being around. Barn cats and lab played with us but were respectful and would leave you alone if that’s what you want. Quiet surroundings. Small family was in other cabin but was not disturbed by their presence.

Robin’s Nest in the Redwoods

LaurenneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Robin’s Nest was such a beautiful getaway! Settled in the peaceful redwood forest above Santa Cruz (I rode my bike into town, which was fun!), it was a great place to escape the bustle, but close enough to enjoy some of the city’s amenities, food and culture. The bed was comfortable, kitchen was stocked, and the front deck/yard was such a lovely place for breakfast and morning coffee. I definitely plan on coming back when I need another escape!

Santa Cruz A-Frame

YangRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Santa Cruz A-frame was such a serene retreat into the mountains for us, and an antidote to our overly digital and urban lives. Things we appreciated: easy parking, both an upstairs and downstairs bathroom, full kitchen supplies, private balcony, gorgeous forest views, creek in the back, and easy access to Loch Lomond (peddle boating on the lake was so peaceful), the redwood state park (hiking in the largely shaded trail was great on an otherwise sunny day), and local groceries and food (enjoyed the cute outdoor patio in the back of The Grove cafe and bakery). We had a wonderful rest!
A spacious living area is highlighted by a unique stone fireplace and warm wooden paneling. A comfortable gray sectional sofa is positioned around a flat-screen TV. Light enters through a skylight above, illuminating the plush carpeting and staircase visible in the background.

Gorgeous Cabin in Mount Hermon

DavidRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is my 3rd time staying here, and I'm already looking forward to a 4th. It's a delightful cabin with a treehouse, nestled in the redwoods right along my favorite childhood trail. To sit out on the deck is to be in the forest. And it's a quick walk on the adjacent trails to see where Ferndell Creek becomes a waterfall, joining both Bean Creek and Zaynate Creek. If you want a quick redwood getaway, stay here, ignore Henry Cowell Redwoods, and do the Fall Creek Trail to Ridge Trail Loop instead. It's 4.2 miles, 750 elevation gain, and nearly all of it follows beautiful redwood creeks. The locals are so lucky to have this as their backyard.
